Thank you. If you present them with facts and figures, most of them will not see that they are wrong but they will shout the more. They are asking for figures as if it will help. Now that you have helped with more figures they will still complain. Thank you for the figures once again. On this one, VDM is wrong glolomoh: |
VDM’s outburst on the Ekiti State 2026 Budget is not activism; it is ignorance wrapped in profanity and sold as moral outrage. What VDM released on the Ekiti State budget is not advocacy. It is noise dressed up as outrage, and the excessive insults only underline a lack of discipline, training, and seriousness. When someone begins a public intervention with curses instead of facts, he has already told us one thing clearly: he has no argument strong enough to stand on its own. The claim that Ekiti State “budgeted ₦68 million for healthcare” is flatly false. That figure was lifted from a single, narrow budget line and dishonestly presented as the total health vote. That is either lazy ignorance or calculated deception. In reality, the Ekiti State Government’s health-related allocations in the 2026 budget run into several billions of naira, covering: • tertiary healthcare • state-wide health insurance • hospital administration and services • coordination of primary healthcare • drugs, supplies, monitoring, and health data systems. EKSUTH alone has a budgetary allocation of 6.8 Billion naira. No amount of shouting can reduce billions to “₦68 million”. On legislative spending, the attempt to scandalise allocations for the House of Assembly is equally shallow. Governance does not operate in abandoned buildings, nor are institutions maintained with slogans. Renovation, equipment, and maintenance are normal, routine costs of keeping a legislature functional. Turning these into moral crimes is pure populist theatre. But perhaps the most revealing part of VDM’s outburst is the language itself. A man who cannot express concern without abuse, curses, and threats of divine punishment betrays poor upbringing and weak emotional control. Serious public commentators persuade with facts and logic—not tantrums. Ekiti people deserve scrutiny of their government, yes—but scrutiny rooted in truth, law, and context, not election-season sensationalism and deliberate misrepresentation. Anger is not analysis. Insults are not evidence. And shouting does not convert falsehood into fact. Ola "Lógunọfẹ" Olusola, Igede Ekiti.

With utmost joy and reverence, I, Ola Olusola, popularly known as Lógunọfẹ, felicitate His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his historic coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan today, September 26, 2025. Your ascension to the throne is not only a fulfilment of tradition but also a blessing to Ibadanland. As a former statesman, a believer in the rule of law, a lover of peace, and an exponent of development, you embody the virtues our people cherish in leadership. Kabiyesi, Ibadan stands at a great turning point, and your reign offers renewed hope for unity, progress, and stability. I humbly urge you to lead with fatherly wisdom above political affiliations, so that the entire Ibadanland may flourish under your impartial and just guidance. May your reign be long, peaceful, and prosperous. May Ibadanland continue to rise in greatness under your watch. Kabiyesi oooo! Iku Baba Yeye! Signed, Ola Olusola (Lógunọfẹ) |
WHY NOT BAO AGAIN? Before you roll your eyes and say “They’ve come again,” just relax small and take chilled Ògùrò. This is not one of those political write-ups where the writer is promised one plot of land, five bags of rice, and a handshake from the commissioner. I no collect anything o. In fact, the last time I met BAO was in my dream. 😄 But as we prepare for another round of Ekiti politicking—the season when everybody suddenly becomes a philosopher, prophet, or palm wine analyst—I just want to ask: Why not BAO again? 1. The Man is a Developer (Not a Developer of Excuses) Let’s call a spade a spade, not a long spoon. Since BAO entered office, na so so development dey waka enter Ekiti. Just when we were recovering from the shock of the first flyover, another one has started dancing its way into reality. At this rate, Ado may soon become the Dubai of South-West Nigeria. Make una no vex, but if the man is busy building bridges while others were building quarrels on Twitter, shouldn’t we encourage him with four more years? 2. He’s a Gentleman (Not a Street Fighter) In a country where some politicians argue more than Area boys fighting over suya, BAO is calm like Ekiti pounded yam. The man no dey shout, no dey insult, no dey wear agbada and be forming philosopher without work. He uses Solomonic wisdom—soft answers, plenty sense, and strategic silence. In short, he’s not loud but he’s effective. Na wetin we need be that. 3. He Connects With the People (No Fence or Protocol Wahala) Unlike some governors that live inside government house like endangered species in a zoo, BAO still mingles. He shows face. He listens. Some people don’t even know what their governors look like, but for Ekiti, our own dey show. If you cough small on Facebook, he or somebody in his government may like your post. No be small thing. 4. He's all-inclusive with appointments Appointments in Ekiti under BAO are not “my cousin, my village, my uncle’s goat.” The man dey balance things well. From Ikole to Ilawe, from Oye to Ode, from Igede to Ikere—everyone is getting a slice. He’s like that aunty that cuts birthday cake fairly, even for the last born with small hand. 5. Opposition is Confused (Even Fayose Don Confess) Let’s be honest: the opposition right now looks like a group project without a group leader. Even big boys wey suppose dey fight BAO are now holding his banner lowkey. Ayo Fayose, former governor and proud PDP elder, now dey reason with BAO. If Fayose—who once had more words than Channels TV—can keep quiet and support BAO, then what are we shouting for? Before You Think I’m Collecting Rice If a man is doing a good job, should we not clap for him and tell him “Do it again, sir”? I’m just a Nigerian who likes good governance, soft laughter, and chilled Zobo. And if BAO can keep building, listening, and behaving like a gentleman, then why not BAO again? Ekiti, over to you. Ola Olusola, Igede Ekiti.

🚨 THIS IS LAND CONQUEST, NOT INSECURITY 🧵 In many Nigerian states, people are being attacked in their own homes by armed herdsmen — often at night. But look deeper… After the attacks, survivors are "rescued" and moved into IDP camps — sometimes hundreds of kilometers away. This will allow the Herdsmen to settle on the attacked land. Mission accomplished, the land is lost. What we’re witnessing is not just insecurity — it's a silent land conquest. And this is the part that hurts: Many of those displaced never return to their ancestral land. Some die in IDP camps. Some relocate permanently elsewhere. Only a few are able to reclaim what was stolen. The duty of the state is to protect citizens in their homes — not resettle them after displacement. Who really benefits from these silent takeovers? The government must stop treating IDP camps as the final solution. They must secure the ancestral lands of their citizens and prosecute all invaders. Anything less is complicity. #ProtectThePeople #NotJustIDPs #JusticeNotDisplacement #SilentTakeover #NigeriaAtACrossroad |

HAND NO GO TOUCH US O ✋🚫 Regardless of any fake news 📢 all these politicians and their supporters are throwing up and down, the truth is that Nigeria 🇳🇬 is in a deep mess 💔. Every day, the country kills its citizens in many ways ⚰️, and they still come out to say that they are building a nation 🏗️. They lie 🤥, steal 💰, kill 🔫, and destroy 🔥 with reckless abandon and impunity. In fact, we even appreciate them for all they do to us daily. ICPC chairman said government budgeted, approved, and paid for a hospital project 🏥 five times and the project was never done 🤯—and nothing happened. You'd think Nigerians should be wiser 🤔 with what we have been through in the hands of politicians, but no, we are naturally who we are. Congratulations 🎉 to Edo people for their new governor 👏🏾. I even heard that Uzodinma said Imo State is a one-party state 🤦🏽♂️. You will see highly mature men defending them—I'm talking about some of our most educated 🎓 and well-traveled citizens like Wole Soyinka. Never underestimate the power of a foolish multitude 🧠🚫. Fear 😨 won't allow me to sign out this message with my name because Nigeria 🇳🇬 now targets its citizens while kidnappers and killers are described as unknown 🤡, and nobody will ever know them. Yes, call me a coward, I'm a proud one 💯. Being a coward is how I’ve been surviving. Nigerian government when it comes to good governance: 📝 We will... 📝 We shall... 📝 We want to... 📝 We intend to... 📝 We plan to... 📝 We are going to... ❌ But they never will. When it comes to taking away whatever the masses are enjoying: 🚫 We have stopped... 🚫 No more subsidy on... 🚫 So so is gone... 🚫 We cannot continue to... 🚫 So so has been discontinued... Regardless of what these vampires 🧛🏾♂️ say, pray every day 🙏🏾 that Nigeria should not happen to you. Make hand no touch you 🤲🏾🚫. There's no limit to what they can steal, they are never tired of stealing 💸. Nigerians, if Nigeria was a company 🏢 created by you, what would you do at this point? Living in Nigeria should be listed as a natural disaster ⚠️. You may think I'm just ranting o, no wahala. Those wey hand don touch learned the hard way 😞. 📆 Written today, Saturday, 8th of February, 2025. |

Why Choosing PDP Candidates is Vital for Oyo State's Progress: A Call to Action for the Local Government Election In the upcoming local government election this April 2024, it's imperative that we shift our focus from mere propagandas to substantive issues that truly impact the lives of Oyo State residents. Here are compelling reasons why casting your vote for PDP candidates is paramount: 1. Contrast with Alternatives: In considering alternatives, the main challenger to the PDP is the APC, a party whose recent governance exacerbated economic hardships across Nigeria. Notably, during their tenure in Oyo State, the APC failed to uphold democratic principles by neglecting to conduct local government elections, denying citizens their fundamental right to representation. 2. Alignment of Manifesto and Policies: Amidst the plethora of political parties vying for attention, the PDP stands out with a manifesto that resonates deeply with the aspirations of Oyo State residents. While some tout grandiose projects, the PDP understands the pressing needs of the populace, such as reliable electricity. The party's focus on tangible, community-centered projects reflects a commitment to addressing the real challenges facing our society. 3. Exceptional Candidate Quality: The PDP presents a slate of candidates for the local government election who embody integrity, competence, and dedication to the Oyo project. Take, for instance, the Chairmanship candidate in Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, whose sterling credentials as a technocrat and philanthropist speak volumes. Similarly, Hon. Jamiu Tijani, the councilorship candidate in Ido ward 4, epitomizes a passion for serving the masses and a proven track record of achievement. 4. Proven Track Record: Since Engineer Seyi Makinde assumed office as the governor of Oyo State in 2019, the PDP has demonstrated a remarkable track record of performance. By voting for PDP in this election, we not only acknowledge the strides made thus far but also encourage the governor to continue his transformative agenda for the state As an ardent believer in the PDP's vision for progress, I urge every resident of Oyo State to cast their vote for PDP candidates in the local government elections scheduled for Saturday, April 27th, 2024. Together, let us reaffirm our commitment to moving Oyo State forward and building a future of prosperity for all. Ola Olusola Ido Ward 4 Ibadan. |

www.blissrise.com Long time ago, there was a village terrorised by a dreaded Tiger. The Tiger will come around at night and kill any livestock in sight, and at times this Tiger would kill humans too. There seem to be no one to rescue the village from this killer Tiger, everyone was afraid of this Tiger. On a fateful evening, a Herder went in search of his missing Donkey, it began to rain and everywhere became dark. A poor widow lives in a hut with leaking roof in the outskirts of the village. She was complaining bitterly of the drips of rains that is making her hut too wet. The Tiger approached the Widow's hut, on getting to the window of the hut, the Tiger heard the widow complaining 'this drip drip drip has come again, I even prefer the Tiger to come than this drip drip drip'. The Tiger was shocked to know there's something else that anyone could fear more than it. The Herder then came to the scene and held on to the Tiger, he thought it was his missing Donkey because everywhere was dark. He slapped the Tiger repeatedly and dragged it home. The Tiger said 'oh, drip drip drip has caught me. Many of our fears is a result of false imagination, don't be cowed, don't fall for a lesser force. You are the dreaded Tiger, therefore, take charge. SOME PEOPLE HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE SAME EXPERIENCE At least one person in history at one time or the other in history stood where you are standing right now and triumphed. So many other people have seen what you are seeing right now, out of all these people, some failed out while some succeeded; though the experience was the same, the personality was different, which culminated in different approach and reaction. The fact that some people failed does not mean they are not okay; it is sometimes due to their inability to conceive their triumph. It is when you are going through a situation which is new to man in its entirety that your case is said to be different, and I can assure you that you are not in such situation. Even if you have a sickness that has never been seen in the medical world, the sickness is new but the situation is not new. Right now you are standing where someone stood in history and succeeded, I am convinced you too can succeed. YOUR EXISTENCE IS NOT A MISTAKE My words here will be as a result of my personal commitment here on earth. All of us were a creation of God; God did not create you because He wanted to, but because he needed to. If it is a matter of ‘want’ I believe God would have stopped the whole system when He found out that men are full of evil but he did not, it means there is a necessity for man. You are not a mistake, you are not only deliberate, you are necessary. What is a mistake? Encarta dictionary said ‘a mistake is an incorrect act or decision, an incorrect, unwise, or unfortunate act or decision caused by bad judgment or lack of information or care’. So a mistake is an error, it is an incorrect act or opinion, thing incorrectly thought or done. All these definitions don’t apply to you. You are absolutely peculiar. It might not be new to you that in a drop of semen, there are millions of sperm cells. You were once a sperm cell, just one invisible cell. When the race of fertilization ensued, among the millions of sperm cells, you were the winner. That was when you were still just a cell, now that you are human with flesh, bone and blood, what limit do you have? Excerpt from page 15 and 16 of the book titled ‘Being You’ written by Ola Olusola. Source https://www.blissrise.com/incest-alert/ I saw my Cousin today kissing his own daughter. This is not the French Parent-Child kiss, its deep tongue to tongue erotic kind of kiss. My cousin is male 51 and his daughter is 19. What happened was that I came unannounced to collect spraying machine from my cousin, as I approached his living room windows, I saw the unbelievable – Ryan (not real name) kissing his own daughter! I was so surprised I forgot to go back and pretend I didn’t see them. Ryan was the person who sighted me from inside and let me in as if he was doing the right thing with his own daughter, his only child. I collected the sprayer and left abruptly. Here is my confusion, should I tell the mother (Ryan’s wife) about what I saw, I’m so worried. Visit www.blissrise.com for more of reality short stories Source https://www.blissrise.com/incest-alert/

My Father and Elder brother were promiscuous without using Condoms, they claim Condoms confiscate the bliss (I’m glad this is BlissRise). My level of promiscuity is very low, at least for now. I usually advice the duo against promiscuity even when I was not totally free from it. When my dad died, Doctors blamed his death on his liver, he was HIV negative. The death of my brother was as a result of an accident, he too was HIV free till death. When I ruminate on the lifestyle of these people then I began to doubt the existence of HIV and AIDS altogether because one of my Dad’s concubines reportedly died of the virus and my brother was too careless to have escaped being infected. Now me, my first contact with HIV patient happened in 2009, I had an unprotected sex with a lady who was positive and I had fever. I thought I was done for! Then suddenly the fever went away and I was whole again. Then fast forward to 2015, I had serious and unprotected sexual escapade or is it sexcapade with another carrier of the virus, I had fever immediately but it went away again after three days. She was aware of her condition and she was hoping I’d get infected too. She had already perfected plans to blame me for infecting her and she’ll make it compulsory for me to marry her. But unfortunately for her, I never got the virus! When I found out her status she apologized to me and moved on. This is 2019, I have undergone several tests, I have donated blood every single year with the blood thoroughly examined, yet I do not have the virus. The first lady was not on ARV but the second lady was. Is it safe for me to conclude that I am HIV resistant? Is the resistance hereditary? Am I only selling a pig in a poke? Can I be of help to science in the area of HIV prevention/cure? Why are HIV educators not talking about possibility of resistant Humans?
