ichidodo:please be specific with the level of expertise |
THREAD CLOSED. I HAVE THE TEAM IN PLACE |
adelnehis:There is no public API for now. But I think they'll expose some to the developers invited for the Hackathon. I have asked but yet to get a response. It's one of the reasons I'm planning to participate even though I have a tight schedule |
GREATIGBOMAN:Are you asking or what? Anyway I'll assume you are asking so I'll respond. The startup is a separate Project and I'll reach out to all the applicants after aggregation of the applications. This thread is for a different objective. I have contacted the few selected individuals from my initial startup post who indicated they are advance or expert in the role I'm looking for as team members. I've also posted in other platform. Hackathon is not meant for beginners and intermediate developers because of the short time needed to complete the project. I assume you've not participated in one before. One of the products for our startup align with one of the challenges or problems the Hackathon seek to address. I'm seeing this as an opportunity to tap into some API that wouldn't have been possible without CBN licence and approval. If you know you know. |
Emeraldfynest:you'll be contacted after we aggregate all applications |
thetimz:submit an application through the link above and let me know |
adelnehis:I have gone through it. I think that should do. I'll chat you up on WhatsApp on further information you'll before you apply. |
adelnehis:good I'll revert in the email |

That use to be close to my former residence. That road never know peace during raining season. The situation improve after Oshomoile built that deep gutter and try to connect it to Ikpoba river. I left Benin in 2015 so I don't know if Obaseki completed the project. Benin city has poor drainage system and successful government need to utilize the Mots to improve drainage |
All noted. You'll receive the appropriate invitation |
ipex:you'll be notified soon when the training program is ready |
rezky:noted. Check the signature |
I announced earlier that I have decided to launch a startup here in Nigeria against travelling abroad. I have since received a lot of good will to that effect. I'm now at the stage where I'm assemblying a foundation team for the startup. I'll be working with the team up to the time of launching. After that we'll decide who will keep as staff and those we'll engage on contract. Below I'll explain the four levels of roles we are engaging. After that I'll list all the positions and the number of persons we want to recruit for each level of expertise. ROLE LEVELS EXPLAINED 1. Expert Level:- This is a high skilled consultant preferably in the top one percent. Recruitment will be through Upwork. The consultant may be hired from the onset of a project or on demand after accessing the skill level of advanced team members. 2. Advance Level:- This is for Nigeria skilled engineers or developers in their field. To be classified as advance Level you must have a strong portfolio, presence on Git platform (preferably contributed to an open source project). Other requirements may be project specific. Advance team members will be hired on contractual basis and will be paid based on agreed term for their engagement and deliverables. 3. Intermediate Level:- Intermediate are engineers or developers who are still building their skills in their field. Intermediate level applicants are expected to show evidence that they have some knowledge in the field (such as a portfolio or example of project they have been part of). We may provide financial remuneration for intermediate team members based on their input. However, the main reward will come from working with advance and expert team members to gain real live experience. We may choose to retain those who demonstrated great team spirit and high skill. 4. Beginner/Trainee:- We currently do not have role for beginners, trainees or interns. However, we will open our online training academy to those interested in learning to become advance Level team members. We may provide financial remuneration for trainees for some tasks they participate in. In addition, we may also convert hours spent completing a task into credit that can be used to offset balance of training fee. We are currently accepting applications into FullStack Developer Certification Training and Frontend Engineer Certification Training. Others will be announced soon. Invitation to participate in our startup Projects will ONLY be expected to trainees who have reach the required Academic Action Points AAP for the specific project. The earlier you start the better as work will soon begin on some of the projects. OPENING ROLES AND POSITIONS We are accepting applications into the following roles for our founding team members. So far this has been an engaging discussion. I'm a currently very busy to deliver a project. When I'm done I'll look at how I can contribute to this discussion and the possibility of having a platform that teaches the logic behind solving aloghrithm interview questions |
