Ideally the professional auto workshop should have given you a print out the code readout.

It would have been invaluable to study the Freeze Frame Data of your vehicle.

If you could obtain that information, it would be grand, but if you cannot, we will try our best without it!

Is the P1077 the only code thrown by the vehicle?

Do you know the type of device used to read the code?

Can you arrange for it to be scanned by a professional scan tool instead of just a code reader in case there might be problems an ordinary code reader cannot pick up?

In the meantime, I will study the documentation on this code and be back with a professional opinion in a couple of days?

What is the mileage of the vehicle? Any recent repairs?

It was done at a professional auto workshop. Other codes include p0453, p0498, p0141,p1298. It's been there for a while,mileage is around 131,000

Get the intake manifold of your car inspected to ensure all hoses and harnesses are properly connected. A disconnection or improper connection can happen if any activity involving the intake manifold was carried out recently.

Thanks, trying to get second opinions cos I getting conflicting views on how to handle it. Mech 1 says inspect IMRC, mech 2 is saying brainbox. So i'm confused

it's an 07 civic IVTEC. Other error codes point to my changing the 2 oxygen sensors.

Lool, change him. Its very difficult finding a good driver. My first driver worked only 2-3 hours a day, from 6pm to 8pm, half of the time he was cancelling trips. I made about 7k that week. I already had his replacement waiting, after seeing his pattern for 2 days. Just get a replacement, currently looking for another driver now, current driver is okay, but refuses to maintain the car as per servicing once monthly even though that was in his agreement.

My Honda is giving an error code of P1077, please how do I sort this out ?

drivers doing for trips a day is a function of their location and the time they are online. I know someone doing 50k a week rental, the driver meeting up doesn't have 2 heads, does he ?

My Civic after driving for a long while refuses to accelerate on the road, I have changed coils, fuel pump, sensor, injector... My mechanic sef don tire. Each time he thinks it is okay but after driving for a while, same issue occurs. Car was scanned and sensor came up, after sensor was nothing comes up, but same issue occurs. Sixth, if you are not driving the car yourself, ensure you do not give any driver a second chance to rationalize reasons for not delivering what was agreed. If he does not deliver for one week, collect your car same day and do not allow him play on you with stories about his family or his wife or children or his health. We all have those stories and use them when needed. If he is not feeling well, he needs to park the car and take care of himself. Assist if he needs an upfront payment for his health or his wife's health but do not allow a driver use your money without your permission. I know it sounds harsh but we have been there and back.
