Don't be unduly razzmatazzed by angelic appearances - Genuine or disputable  . . .

Angels themselves are nothing more than ministering spirits (i.e. messengers)

Since he posted it, I've been thinking about it and can't get it off my mind. Just been thinking whether it is real or fake.

I also have another question more intimidating, and don't know how to put it on here.

Pls no matter how my questions sound, it is real and from me. Just a wondering mind. Hoping to hear from you.
@OP

Do you believe that video agaba123 showed with angel appearing is real?

It could possibly be an apparition or what not . . .

To be honest with you, angel(s) appearing to someone else is the least of my concern . . .

Whether the video showing an angel appearance is real or genuine is better left to a personal judgment

There is no denial that angels have appeared over the course of time to Man in some form or shape . . .

Angels have appeared to Man in the past, still do now in the present and continually will do in the future . . .

The above sentence can be substantiated with pages right across the Bible

In this context, personally I wouldnt loose sleep over it (i.e. the angelic appearances)

Why? because angels essentially are ministering spirits

I'll rather experience the Quickening Spirit . . .
The real McCoy; if you know what I mean

- Believable? Sort of . . .  MJ RIP wink

A SHOCK video of Michael Jackson defending himself as he is quizzed over child abuse allegations has been uncovered by the News of the World.

The bombshell tape - never before made public

- shows the King of Pop NERVOUSLY LAUGHING, COVERING HIS FACE with his hands in dismay

and GROANING IRRITABLY as a team of lawyers grilled him in 1996 as part of a lawsuit brought against him by Neverland staff.

Thriller star Jackson-who died last week-SQUIRMS at times as he is questioned about allegations surrounding Jordy Chandler, Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin and Brett Barnes.

But at one point in the frank and revealing footage, the star launches into a spirited defence of himself in which he:

INSISTS he is NOT GAY.

DENIES bleaching his skin and says he is PROUD to be black

SLAMS his child abuse accusers as LIARS and cites the teachings of JESUS to defend his sleeping in the same bed as boy visitors to his Neverland ranch in California.

"Jesus said to love the children and be like the children-to be youthful and innocent, and be pure and honourable," says Jackson reading from a statement he has written.

"He always surrounded himself with children. That's how I was raised-to believe, and to be like that, and to imitate that."

The three-hour video was made in March, 1996-three years after Jackson was first accused of molesting 13-year-old Jordy Chandler who was reportedly paid $22 million not to testify against him.
Stand

And it was filmed NINE YEARS before he faced trial over alleged abuse of cancer sufferer Gavin Arvizo, 13-in which prosecutors also claimed he had abused Barnes, 11, and Culkin between the ages of 10 and 14. He was cleared despite refusing to take the stand.

Our tape shows a legal hearing as part of the private suit against the star by what became known as The Neverland Five-a group of former workers at the estate who claimed wrongful dismissal.

One of the key arguments put forward by their chief lawyer Michael Ring was that Jackson, then 37, had threatened staff who claimed they witnessed him behaving inappropriately with children.

The camera focuses on the pale-looking star-wearing a black jacket, red shirt, and black hat-sitting at a table in the hearing room at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York.

He is looking steadfastly forward at the legal team in front of him-including Ring and co-counsel Ruth Ann Niosi. Sat off camera are his briefs, Steve Cochrane and legal adviser Zia Modabber.

But his demeanour is shattered when asked by Ring: "Mr Jackson, in the latter portion of 1993 there were some allegations levelled at you concerning improper conduct with some young boys."

Smile

Jackson's face breaks into a weary smile before he straightens it and answers: "Yes". When asked "Are you familiar with a person named Jordy Chandler?", the distracted star at first looks stunned and asks: "Who?"

A few seconds later, as Ring and one of Jackson's aides discuss legal issues about whether or not the star will answer questions about Chandler, the singer bites his lip, picks up papers in front of him and hides behind them for a second before putting them down and trying-and failing-to stifle a huge yawn.

But when asked if he was aware that "Jordan Chandler, or his family on his behalf, filed a litigation, a lawsuit, against you" he lowers himself in his chair and quietly says: "Yes." The star is clearly nervous about the questioning, at one point leaning across the table to apparently look at the opposing lawyers' notes. Looking gaunt and scratching his neck, chest and head, Jackson fidgets through a series of questions about the staff at his ranch who have spoken out against him, revealing that although he has heard their names he doesn't know what job they did.

But it is when the boys are mentioned that he becomes the most animated. At one point Ring asks him: "To your knowledge Mr Jackson, were you ever accused of having sexually molested Brett Barnes?"

Case

The Aussie boy, then 11, slept in the same room as Jackson for a year, according to the testimony of his sister Karlee in documents submitted for the Jordy Chandler case.

But Barnes and his mother insisted nothing inappropriate happened. Clearly disturbed by the question, Jackson squirms away from the camera, closes his eyes and covers his face, before breaking into a smile and shaking his head.

After more legal argument, Ring moves onto child screen star Culkin, asking: "To your knowledge, were you ever accused of having sexually assaulted Macaulay Culkin?"

Again Jackson throws his hands up to his face in frustration, groaning: "Oh."

His lawyer Cochrane quickly says: "That's an instruction not to answer that one." Jackson doesn't. Instead he shakes his head and smiles before looking into the camera. But as the lawyers battle on, the Bad star becomes increasingly agitated and produces a series of his own handwritten documents.

Jackson admits it is a list he made, saying: "When I get angry enough I write down what I want to say and what I want to talk about, to set the record straight.

"Cos you get to a point where you get tired of people lying. I get tired of situations like this, where people completely lie on me, and I'm sick of it . . . I want to set the record straight."

Jackson first denies bleaching his skin. "I'm a black American and I'm proud of it. And I'm honoured of it," he says. "The bleached skin rumour, which is a rumour. I don't bleach my skin. He adds: "They say-they once said-I wanted a white kid to play me as a child, which was a rumour."

Then he blurts out: "I'm not gay." And he adds in faltering, disjointed speech: "Don't judge a person unless you have spoken to them one-on-one, which, which is true. 'Cos what you hear is a lie."

The star, who was raised a Jehovah's Witness by his parents in Gary, Indiana, tries to defend his behaviour with children by referring to teachings in the Bible.

He says: "He (Jesus) was talking to his apostles, and they were fighting over who's the greatest among themselves. And he said, 'Whoever humble yourself like this child is the greatest among me'."

Jackson seems distracted by the nitty-gritty details about his sacked staff. He denies bugging workers, and using radio transmitters disguised as pens. To other questions about them he answered either "I don't remember" or "I'm not sure".

As the hearing drew to a close Jackson seems totally uninterested in the proceedings, grinning at his lawyers' doodles on notepads and saying: "That's good."

What was also good for Jackson was that the sex abuse discussions on the tape were discounted in the civil case which he later won.

Minted! Lucky 20p Owners Could Get £50

Thousands of Brits with a new 20p in their pockets could find themselves £50 richer after a mix-up at the Royal Mint.

Around 200,000 of the coins have rocketed in value after the manufacturer admitted it had forgotten to put a date on them.

They are worth £50 if immediately returned, but are set to rise even further in value because of their rarity.

Nick Hart, of the London Mint, said: "If you hunt around and find one you're extremely lucky.

"Mistakes like this not only fascinate people but also have considerable value-increase significance."

Workers at the mint have been left with their tails between their legs after leaving the date stamp off the heads side of the coins.

The error occurred amid the production of a newly-designed 20p piece.

The mint has issued a recall both to remove the coins from circulation and to keep track of them.

Lucky owners are asked to register their details at www.undated20p.com and then post the dateless coin back.

Alternatively, those looking to keep their new-found collectable can register and request a presentation box.

Mr Hart put an optimistic slant on the mint's "extremely rare error".

"(It) will certainly get the public looking at the coins in their pockets again and noticing the excellent new designs launched by the Royal Mint on our coinage," he said.

CrimeRe: Nigerian In Court For Murder Of Irish Woman by Recognise: 10:18am On Jul 06, 2009
Big father:
A young man who claims to be a Nigerian has been arraigned in a UK court for the murder of a British woman.

The man, Kristoph Emmanuel Aluya, 23, was recently arraigned at the Belfast Magistrates Court for the murder of Grace Moore, 38, at her home in Belfast, Ireland.

The victim was, until her death, a shop assistant in a city center department store in Belfast. Preliminary reports indicated that she was stabbed to death.

Moore’s lifeless body was said to have been discovered by her daughter at their house in Erris Grove on west Belfast’s Suffolk Estate a few hours later.

In court, a detective sergeant from the serious crime branch told the presiding magistrate, Fiona Bagnall, that the accused could be connected with the murder directly or indirectly.

Aluya, according to court records lives on Church Road in Carlow, SE Ireland. The defendant who spoke only once in court to confirm he understood the charge against him, however, denied the charge and, according to his lawyer, Peter Ford would apply for bail.
He has, nevertheless, been remanded in custody and would appear again in court by video link on December 21.

Why We Are Into Currency Faking Business - Robbers
Tunde Oyekola, Osogbo - 20.06.2009

A five-member fake currency syndicate smashed on Monday in Osogbo by the Osun State Police Command said that they were in the business of selling fake currency because it was lucrative.

The 24-year-old Saheed Ibiyemi, who said that he spent N25,000 to buy N125,000 fake currency at N200 per N1,000 notes at Oluwole in Lagos, added that he had been operating in Abuja before coming down to Osogbo.

Saheed, who admitted that he had been in the business of buying fake currency for sometime when he could not secure a job, stated that “it is a lucrative business and I have been making a living from it. I buy fake currency from a man who introduced me to the business at Oluwole in Lagos.”

When reminded that Oluwole was no longer existing in that it had been dismantled by the government, Saheed said that “Oluwole is still existing because people still transact business in the place under cover.”

Saheed and Friday Irabor 25, both from Edo State, were apprehended at Aromole Area, Oja - Oba in Osogbo while attempting to spend fake naira notes while the other three members, Friday Irabor 25, Amidu Kashimawo, 24 and Sunday Bright Marcus, 26, were caught at Peter Ajibola Street, Alekuwodo, where they bought a N100 recharge card with N1,000 fake naira note.

Fake pastors invade Sekondi

By The Spectator
Religion | 5 hours ago

Residents of Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis are being asked to be wary of false pastors who have invaded the metropolis and making huge sums of money from unsuspecting women who call on them for spiritual solutions to their problems.

The pastors who claim to possess miraculous powers, get their victim through local FM stations or through friends.

Madam Adjoa Amoaba, a resident of the metropolis and trader who sounded the warning through the Spectator, was a victim to one of these false pastors.

The unsuspecting fortune seekers are made to pay between GH¢5.00 and GH¢50.00 as registration fee before they are allowed to see the pastor for any 'spiritual directive'.

Aside the normal collection in church, the pastors are reported to be selling "blessed oranges, anointing oil and a special pomade" believed to be capable of driving away evil spirits. They are sold for GH¢15.00 each to the clients.

The pastors who promise to help their clients conceive, obtain jobs, husbands, wives, success in their businesses, travel abroad and make the poor to become rich, also extort huge sums of money from them.

The Spectator investigations revealed that these "dubious pastors" are located at Inchaban, Ketan, Diabem'e, Anaji Namibia, I. Adu, Airport Ridge and some other parts of Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis.

Miss Janet Asamoah, a resident of Takoradi who said she needed a child, heard about the testimony of one of the pastors on the local FM station and decided to go and seek assistance from him.

Miss Asamoah said when she got there she was told that if she wanted to see the priest for spiritual directives, she should speak all her problems to a GH¢50 note and put it into a bowl placed in front of the church house.

She complied and joined a queue to see the pastor. When she eventually entered, the pastor was with a big Bible, a cross and some anointing oil. Miss Asamoah said she told him she had been looking for a child for several years without success. The priest prayed with her and demanded GH¢150 which she paid instantly.

Miss Asamoah said "the pastor collected her phone number and barely one week later, he further requested for 15 bags of cement from her which he claimed would enable him to perform some rituals on her. When I told my husband, he became annoyed and asked me not to go there again."

Miss Asamoah alleged that after the spiritual directives, the pastor would warn you not to disclose whatever took place during the consultation else the person will either go mad or become useless in life.

Madam Adjoa Amoaba, a trader at Takoradi also told the Spectator that her six-year-old girl was sick for sometime and a friend directed her to a priest at Anaji Namibia. She said when she went there and wanted to see the priest, she was made to put GH¢50 into a bowl which she did.

Madam Amoaba alleged that during the consultation, the pastor told her that witches had bought her daughter in spirit together with all her dresses.

After praying for the child, he asked her to pay GH¢300 to enable him to perform some rituals to save tHe life of her child. He also directed her to bring all the dresses of her child. The next day she sent the GH¢300 together with her child's dresses to him. He burnt all the dresses and told her that her child has been saved from the powers of the witches.

She said in tears that three weeks later her daughter died and up till date, the pastor has not bothered to ask about the condition of her child.

Madam Amoab.a warned people in the metropolis to be wary of false pastors who have invaded the Twin City and duping innocent residents.

N250million: Peter Obi's in-law flees to the United Kingdom

By www.ukpakareports.com
Nigeria News | 6 hours ago

As the grips of the Economic and Financial Crimes and Commission [EFCC] begins its stretch to reach the State capital of the Anambra center of government, many of the involved culprits of the money laundering scandal have begun prepping for an eventual and/or inevitable outcome of the investigation. In the face of this, the said Ejike Onwusogbulu, as Ukpakareports.com gathered, has escaped Nigeria to the United Kingdom to avert the prying fangs of the EFCC and other investigating agencies who have developed interest in the money laundering case.

https://www.ukpakareports.com/obiLaundry.jpg
Ejike Onwusogbulu's escape comes on the heels of EFCC's public announcement of an investigation being on the offing. This is in addition to the growing public outcry over the contradictory responses offered by Peter Obi as an explanation over the N250million intercepted by the Lagos police at Peter Obi's Apapa private office. Of which, in the effort to sway the attention of the Nigerian public away from the money laundering scandal, has engaged the Anambra Elders Forum and the Guild of Editors to help shield him from the apparent oncoming of an onslaught of probe as the gubernatorial campaign season draws nearer.

As reported previously, Peter Obi had, on the last day of May 2009, dispatched two of his aides along with two mobile police officers [MOPOL] to deliver N250million to his private office in Apapa, Lagos – where they were nabbed by the Lagos police at hours after mid-day. But the reactions of the Peter Obi team to the failed money heist, which many observers believed to be knee-jerk, appear to expose the not-so-hidden criminality imbedded in the attempted money heist.

Upon the breaking news by Ukpakareports.com, Valentine Obienyem, the media assistant to Peter Obi who was also one of the money mules, released a rushed press statement pinning the ownership of the N250million to a 'contractor' and an in-law to Peter Obi in the person of Ejike Onwusogbulu [who was not present at the time of the arrest]. The media assistant indicated this while saying that the contractor requested for the N250million to be paid in cash before recanting the press statement only twelve [12] hours later. In his revised press statement, the media assistant stated that while the N250million belonged to the contractor, it was not paid in cash - that Ejike Onwusogbulu was paid in numerous checks issued by the State Government for the purchase and delivery of transport vehicles for the new Peter Obi taxi program, ANIDS. The story took another turn as our investigators reported that the Lagos police had video taped the counting of the N250million and had deposited the money into the coffers of the Anambra State Government. This time, the media assistant refined his story to explain away the reason the police deposited the 'contractor's' money into the Anambra State account, particularly since the media assistant asserts no crimes were committed.

As Ukpakareports.com learnt through impeccable sources, Peter Obi's determination to cover up his money laundering escapades and to seal all leaks of information from his office, has upped to discharge his official driver. This is in addition to the pending sacking of the Chief Security Officers and the ADC. Peter Obi is said to be unraveled by the reports of his movements on the day of the reported heist to the point that he believes that his ADC, CSO and /or driver must have leaked information to the media on his movement on that day.

Nonetheless, more information on the said 'contractor' [Ejike Onwusogbulu] has been unearthed by our investigators. Ejike Onwusogbulu, who is the brother to Ndibe Obi's wife [Ndibe Obi is Peter Obi's brother], has lived a life as a drug pusher [Heroin and Cocaine]. He was arrested in United Kingdom in 1991 during one of his many drug runs. Unconfirmed sources add that the drug runs was for Peter Obi but Ukpakareports.com is not certain of Peter Obi's involvement. Be that as it may, other close associates and man-Friday of Peter Obi have been associated with drug trafficking. Dubem Obaze, the commission for Local Government affairs and Chieftaincy matters, Benjamin Uba, special assistant to Peter Obi, and Benjamin Obi, special assistant to Peter Obi, are reported to have lived a life of drug trafficking. And sources that know of Peter Obi's past, state that it was the shared drug trafficking experience that holds Peter Obi to Dubem Obaze and company.

It is through these trusted aides of Peter Obi who have a not-so-stellar past that Peter Obi has leaned on to reach out to the Anambra State House of Assembly to squash the probe into the failed attempt to launder N250million. The Secretary to the State Government in the person of Paul Odenigbo has been recruited into the cover up campaign also to reach the lawmakers. As recalled, the lawmakers had earlier constituted a 3-man panel to look into the money laundering matter. Of which allegations of money having exchanged hands between the lawmakers and Peter Obi's aides are abound – although the imagine maker of the State Assembly have denied the allegation. Nonetheless, to date, since the formation of the panel, nothing has come from it which jives with what one of the concerned lawmaker who did not want his name told our investigators that Peter Obi has successful reached out to the members of the 3-man probe panel and that nothing significant will come from the panel. The source, who is a principal officer of the State Assembly, continued to add that a group of lawmakers [10 in number] believed to be loyal to Peter Obi have threatened to create a parallel House of Assembly if the lawmakers continue their inquiry into the money laundering matter.

In an exercise tantamount to robbing salt of its taste, the Anambra State Association in the United States of America [ASA-USA], following pressures from concerned members, upped to launch an investigation into the money laundering matter. Interestingly, the association, noted for being pocketed by the Peter Obi administration, convened an executive meeting where they set up a 5-man panel to investigate the matter. However while setting the 5-man panel, the President of the association, Nwachukwu Anakwenze cautioned that 'care' must be taken because ever since ASA-USA's press statement on Peter Obi's reluctance to conduct LGA election that Peter Obi has stopped picking up his calls. He made this caution while insisting that the assistant Public Relations Officer, Tony Idigo head the 5-man panel. Tony Idigo was recently awarded a contract at the Amaku General Hospital in Awka by the Peter Obi government. To date, the 5-man panel has yet to seat.

Peter Obi's troubles appear to be on the dawn of its unraveling as more questions regarding the source of the N250million arise. Ukpakareports.com in talking to the Commissioner of Economics and Planning in the person of Chinyere Okunna, gathered that Peter Obi following the arrest and release of Valentine Obienyem and Benjamin Uba, had assembled his cabinet for an emergency meeting to assure and/or convince them of the source of the money. According to the Commissioner, “Peter Obi presented the checks to us, I saw the checks myself. The checks were for the purchase of 4x4 pick up vehicles for each of 21 Local Government offices.” The commissioner indicated that the contract was awarded to Ejike Onwusogbulu's company. Our investigators gathered however that the contract which was awarded in late 2007 resulted in the withdrawal of N4.7million from each of the 21 LGA - equivalent to N98.7miilion. It remains uncertain whether the N98.7million supposedly used to purchase the pickups in late 2007 was part of the N250million – as insinuated by the Honorable Commissioner.

It is believed the escape of Ejike Onwusogbulu to United Kingdom is timed to partly to avoid providing answers to the beehive of contradictions that has cracked a vault of potent questions - with possible criminal overtones. Particularly as it has been gathered that the EFCC has arrived on the grounds in Anambra State and have begun clandestine collection of information, it is feared that Ejike Onwusogbulu would or may pose a weak link to the web of deception currently beiing weaved by the Peter Obi media team.
