obailala: What do you mean by 'you hausas'?
That I made a simple commonsensical submission, and suddenly, your brain interprets it that I must be hausa?.... What sort of sorry reasoning do we even have in this Nairaland? I know your type on nairaland, lots of Igbo wannabes around here. |
Politics › Re: More Than 10 Hausa People Killed In akokwa Community, The True Story by redcap: 7:29pm On Aug 13, 2016 |
obailala: If dividing the country is the 'needful' which you are referring to, can you kindly explain how dividing the country would have prevented this unfortunate incident?
Whenever there's a case of such violent clashes, a lot of people always run in with this same suggestion to divide the country as a solution. But I ask 2 questions; 1. If Nigeria is divided today, will it stop Hausas from being in Akokwa community as suya men, security guard and general businessmen? 2. If Nigeria is divided today, will it stop Igbos from living and doing their business in Kano, Lagos or Maiduguri?
If you answered NO to any of the 2 questions, then I can't help but wonder why this critical reasoning is always alien to us whenever we suggest breakup as a solution to community violence. There are several Hausa indigenous to Nigeria living and doing business in Benin rep.,Togo Ghana, how many times have they attacked their host. The problem with you Hausa's is that you think southern Nigeria is ur conquered territory hence the resort to unprovoked violence. |

mekuzi09: This is evil. Igbos, we are civilized people, we should not kill innocent people because of the crime of one man. The man should have been arrested and handed over the police. I shake my head in pains. Rest in Peace to the unfortunate dead Civilization my big foot, and you are talking about arrest when their is a kwankwasho lurking around to release him in the next 24hrs. |

Calling for a referendum means the entire nation will participate. It also requires lobbying and campaigning.
The last election should be an eye opener for the Ibos. Are they sure the entire nation want them to leave. Truly, a referendum will settle this issue, but the result may be shocking Was it the entire EU that participated in the breast few days ago? or were you hallucinating when only scotts voted to a no to secceed. Always try to follow events before you comment on public discuss. |

Cmeo: Chai!;I can see why the oyinbo say 'ignorance is a disease' and I want to add that 'only knowledge and sound understanding could cure it'.
The land use Act says all land belongs to the govt. That's means all levels of government has land that belongs to them as classified by the act and there is a procedure to acquire land from each level of government. l
This land mentioned here originally belongs to Anambra and the FG acquired it, following the expected procedures, therefore its not stealing because Anambra Govt consented to it through the right of occupancy.
Why am I even responding to this post self? They say 'silience is the best answer f a fool and an ignorant person are always a fool' so I stop here. Furnish me with the name of the governor that concented to the said acquisition in 1992. Same land that was forcefully acquired without the consent of the people, governors appointed to do the bidding of the tyrant IBB gov't. Pls spare me that trash. WE DON'T HAVE LAND TO SELL, period! |

StOla: Nice question to be directed at Azikiwe Jonathan.
But when the other lands acquired in other states for the same purposes are being developed, the teeming population of Igbo bigots would begin to lament that is Anambra State not deserving of such development. The land was acquired in 1992, learn to read. |
