its really good when you guys are far from eachother and it helps to strengthen your communication in all ways(skype tinz on galaxy tab).. but the thing is this, there are people who their work is attached to all these gadgets. like me, i spend over 12 or more hours a day on my computer due to work. and sometimes work requires you take her (work) home.. what you have to do in this case is that make sure u get done with substantial part of the work u carry home in record time or just set a time period which you can spare for your spouse/work when taking work home, this way it doesnt seem you are being selfish by just sticking to your gadgets.. there are so many way u can use these gadgets to your benefits. e.g if you both have ipads and there are multiplayer games u can both play together via bluetooth or wifi. it strengthens the relationship alot or better still watch TV togehter and talk about your day..*putting gadgets to effective use*
Family › Re: My Husband Does Not Want Me To Have An Friend by redcliff: 9:40am On Aug 18, 2012
lets look at things the other way round....there are sometimes when frineds we think can never hurt us are the ones who stab us the most at our backs..your husband may be trying to protect you from an evil friend. if he doesnt want to tell you it might be because your friend in question has made passes on him and he refused and he does not know how to tell it to you hence his reaction. he maybe seeing your continued relationship with her as a bad influence. imagine, if i had a GF and she has a really close friend who made a pass at me and i totally refused and i know the kind of sisterly relationship u both have,i wont want to hurt your feelings by telling you what she did. all i would tell u is that i dont like your association with her. a wise woman should read between the lines
@poster, what's your hubby's background in relation to birthdays? Were birthdays celebrated in his home while growing up as a child?

Is he a Jehovah's Witness?
perfect question.. in my own house we never made much of a big deal in celebrating bdays and if i am involved with someone who has, i have to put that into consideration, if not, there might be slight tiffs about things

but forget o. some girls still uphold the principle of being content with what they have. but the bad egggs must always outshine oveshadow the good ones. i still respect someone that was in my life for this...If its being content, she observes it to the letter. although she might be needy for them but doesnt warrant bullzhit activities to get them..once you know you cant have it dont go the extra immoral mile to have them....
Romance › Re: Why You Should Not Contact Your EX by redcliff: 9:34pm On Aug 14, 2012
lol.. first and foremost my post is going to be quite irrelevant considering we have entered the 3rd page. my take on this issue is, if u can handle being friends with ur ex go ahead, if not, stay away.. everybody isn't the same. mr A's makeup is diff from miss B's makeup and understanding.... personally i think its better not to talk for a while with the person util all feelings and whatever it is u have for that person dies down. at this point you will find out that after that long period of no communication when you start talking again, everything seems so normal and u become free with such person(s)

I wouldn't say the lastma guy did not deserve what he got atleast it would serve as a warning sign to others . If you see the lengths to which these guys go in order to accost vehicles, you'l be suprised. Some even go as far as lying down on d bonnet of the vehicle as if to say 'ah see food money don come o'. I just hope others would be very careful and don't go to extremes to stop vehicles they 'can't' stop.

Simple!!! Just let them go.
Romance › Re: My Friend Is In A Mess by redcliff: 9:13am On Aug 12, 2012
claremont: The last salary I earned whilst living in Nigeria was 60,000/month, though it came with an official car and sales bonuses. I lived on that 60,000/month and maintained my expensive Igbo ex-girlfriend as well grin. Your friend should hold onto that job while he is on the sharp look-out for better opportunities preferably abroad.

As for the girlfriend, if she is not able to exercise patience with him, he should let her go. When he has achieved some level of career stability, he would be surprised how girls will flock around him like bees to honey.
In ninteen ninety what was this?

Romance › Re: Anonymous Letter To Nigerian Ladies by redcliff: 7:18am On Aug 09, 2012
dasparrow: What have you done to positively impact your immediate environment and the world at large order than to secure a screw partner by signing the dotted lines and make babies that tomorrow will probably grow up to become 419 scammers, looting politicians, pedophiles, .pros/titutes in Italy, aristo babes, .rap.ists and whatever else many Nigerians are known for globally?

I have told you amebo Nigerians to stop minding other people's darn business. When the good Lord created the institution known as marraige, He did not need to consult Nigerians. When God created marraige, it was not meant for you people to force people into it. There is no happiness in a forced relationship. There are many women who did marry but are alone now because the average life expectancy of a Nigerian is 52 years. Many Nigerian women don't even get to enjoy their husbands because most Nigerian men don't live long.

Stop acting as if marraige is the solver of all problems. Nigerian men like you make so much noise about marraige and then once you are married you become heartless, insensitive, lazy, abusive husbands to these ladies. Go to the family section and see some 9 months pregnant married Nigerian woman complaining bitterly about how her husband does not help her around the house and how her husband has forsaken her emotional needs as a woman.

As far as I am concerned, unless a Nigerian lady chooses to marry an oyibo man or a man from another culture where women are respected, she misses absolutely nothing not being married to a Nigerin bred male. The way you Nigerian bred males treat your women is pathetic. You people throw the woman out of her matrimonial home if she cannot conceive. Many of you marry a second wife if the first wife keeps birthing female babies. When you die, your wicked family members come and take everything you and your wife ever worked for throwing your surving wife and children into a state of sudden abject poverty.

Many Nigerian bred males like you are chuvinists and Nigerian women are gradually becoming wise and realizing that it is more of a curse rather than a blessing marrying the average Nigerian bred male. This is why Nigerin bred men like you result to emotional blackmail with your stupid annonymous letter to Nigerian ladies. Why don't you also write an annonymous letter to the many married Nigerian big men who carry ashawos and university girls all over the place and then come back and infect their wives with all sorts of STDs/STIs? Why don't you write a letter to all the Nigerian bred males who are married yet .ra.pe and .sexuall.y abuse toddlers and underage young teenagers living under their roofs or in their neighborhoods?

Stop being a bloody hypocrite and go and focus on your family and marraige and stop telling people how to live their lives. Typical obnoxious chuvinist Nigerian!
U made some good points but u r still a FU
