This is what Nigerians want, I hope we are happy. We marched at Ojota in 2012, with Tunde Bakare and others to ensure this fuel subsidy remains and continues to drain money we should use for other things or don't have |
The expulsion does not seem necessary sha. Anyway, I heard some people are committed to helping her enroll in a new school. |

I say make una no vex, you still dey vex. Oya go vex for Buhari |
Sharing sex tape without permission can get you banned on Twitter sha, make people dey careful. |
What work do N-Power beneficiaries do abeg? Real question, make una no vex. Will this work suffer if they are not paid? |
I am sorry, I don't think this is right. Nigeria should be secular and any state being declared Christian or Islamic is not valid and will likely lead to issues. |
Hello Everyone, I am a bit low on hope as I read this. I want to apply for a joint MS Computer Science/ MBA in top schools abroad, but the deadline seems very close. I know I will need to write the GRE and that is all I know. I need help. Thanks. |
Some of these things are hereditary, but knowong Cobhams, he will be thankful to God in all things and the child will get all the love he needs. |
globemoney:I lived in Enugu during Sullivan's time, I still thing Obi outdid him and Sullivan did well. Obi beats Sullivan in Education, Health, They both did ok on roads, Sullivan did good with employment initiatives. Obi edges it. Obiano is not on their level, he inherited a better state and just did ok in first term and too much politics in 2nd term |
I love Sullivan's early work and how he worked but I believe Peter Obi is the best of the set. His work with rural roads ANIDS and education was very important. Sullivan revamped Enugu metropolis and did some work on IGR. I believe the South East deserves better, Imo and Abia have been particularly cursed, in spite of all the smart people that have roots there. Obiano and Umahi are a level below Sullivan and Obi but Umahi is still working and it will be interesting to see his scorecard after. He inherited the South East least glamorous job and it wasn't going to be easy anyway. |
This man was caught on video taking bribes. These things don't matter to us. |
Someone on twitter said that LASU lecturers call their own "theatre room". Can anyone confirm this? What was it called in your own school? |
Good, Lagos and other state should do same. We citizens are the ones suffering, fixing our cars and suffering in traffic |
I am sorry, there is no point blaming students here. The power lies with the schools and the lecturers to stop this and because the schools aren't fighting it, it continues. If the school is strict with Lecturers attacking them for mixing with students who they have oversight over, the lecturers themselves will stop it from happening. If the schools make grading more transparent, this also reduces. A few Uni departments in Nigeria have tried it and seen success. Our focus must be on the schools, once the schools governance systems get better, the students who want to offer sex will have no power. Nigeria is not the only country with universities, men and women exist in universities all over the world, the difference is governance. Abroad, lecturers are rated by students, discretionary grading is limited by proper supervision, and there are proper reporting channels. Please let's focus on what is important and make life better for our sisters and daughters and make our universities better. This case is similar to the issue with Nigerian police collecting bribes, yes there are people who give them bribes and there are people who they extort; if Nigeria wants to stop bribery, it simply needs to punish policemen for collecting bribes, prevent opportunities for them to collect bribes etc. Once policemen can't collect bribes, people will see it as less and less sensible to offer and even if they offer; policemen who care about their jobs will handle anyone who still offers properly... Bribery will reduce drastically, even if it won't end. This is how we need to solve our problems from Sex for grades to Bribery etc. Avoid the temptation to blame victims. |
Sad. But when Sowore was supporting such strong arm tactics against others, we warned that the beast they are encouraging will swallow them. Let other supporters of this be warned. More of this will happen as 2023 approaches. |
Nothing much. We are however celebrating the fact that we are still united. Has the unity been a plus to most people in the country? |
I hear that Uyo is developing a good ecosystem, check it out Rocice: |
TheCabal:The assertiveness they need is less of bombing and more of a stronger more honest political front. The guys bombing can be easily sorted by bribes and contracts + the bombing will be treated as a crime. |
When you think of the quality of men that led Nigeria in the 70s, it is not hard to see why the country is in ruins now, Good intentions or not, these men were simply not qualified for the tasks they took on. |
A) This video is a bit old, why are we raising it up again? B) There are international rules governing these things, so if his statement is invalid, it is invalid. C) ND states need to be more assertive |
This is quite shameful. Rochas remains one of the worst Governors in the Nation. Imo an oil-producing state has had some very Bad governors since 1999. I feel ashamed that people are coming here to praise someone who owes salaries, builds defective and white elephant projects and continues to acquire state land and resources. With all the brilliant people in Imo they keep getting bad governors. Ndi Imo lebara onwe unu anya. |
