The Ex-President that some of you are defending has admitted that the Chibok Kidnap happened. Army and authorities admit that it happened. However, you in Lagos, Kogi or Onitsha (etc) with only an internet-enabled phone and no other evidence call the kidnapping a scam. School records have been shown, names have been shown, pictures have been shown, parents have come out, some parents have even died. Yet without evidence you mock someone else's pain and call it scam just to score an unnecessary political point. There were many kidnappings as well as killings by BH. People decided to stop keeping quiet and committing the sin of silence to talk about the issue. It became #BringBackOurGirls. E,g Oby Ezekwesili complained about earlier kidnappings/Killings and let it go, this one was a final straw. The government proceeded to handle things badly and their handling became the focus of the campaign. The opposition saw the governments poor handling and capitalized on it like any sensible opposition would. All this does not invalidate what happened. |
Why is this news? |
JUst read, why come to an exam hall with a mind to copy. Everybody has the same number of brain cells and if you are doing a course you want, you should know enough to pass if you study hard. |
1Music2luv:Nowhere in my statement will you see a hatred of Yorubas or any other tribe in Nigeria expressed. I won't be drawn into a vapid exchange of words with you. Enjoy your day. |
People do not realize that Lagos' biggest advantages are its ports and historical advantage as a capital city. Someone was suggesting a Lower-Niger Development Board, that would push for the development of Ports in the south-south and Industrial clusters in the south-south and south-east. This would be part-funded by state-govts and private investors (of which we [SS/SE] have many). We must push push our govt officials to ensure that these things are done/ Then like the Israeli's did in the 50s, Igbos and Southern Minority tribes can move eastward/Southwards if they so choose. The sad thing is the infrastructure eg 3MB that attracts people to Lagos was built with oil money (from the Niger-Delta). That said all Ngerians must try to abide by the (reasonable, fair) law of thei areas of residence |

That said. every Nigerian should obey the just, reasonable and fair law of the areas they reside. When it is time to get oil money & allocation you say "one Nigeria" after that you claim "son of the soil, omonile". I believe in Nigeria but the systemic pressurization of minority tribes must be looked into and the country must be restructured. |
SammyO4real:Oui, Il est |
That is good, 14 million people now have a chance to register. |
Some of you are so scarcity-minded that you think that a woman from a relatively wealthy home can only get into political office by standing in the sun for months. Poverty has forced a lot of you to be cynics You overlook the fact that she has worked with Mallam during his days in govt. Who else will you choose as your COS if not someone like that. Anyway, think what you can. Fixing Nigeria isn't by talking and calling everyone in govt evil. ![]() |
VIO and LASTMA have turned to tools of extortion. |
Gepheral:I heard their denial too. Can't believe they denied what they knew nothing about. |

Poor guy, there will be a lot of angry Nigerians in his mentions |
wanted:Obudu cattle ranch is about 25+ years old. I am glad it has been RENOVATED, That something has been renovated, means it must have been ok in the past. Obudu mountain resort is older than Nigeria so I could be anywhere b/w 3 - 64 yrs old. (the resort was established in 1951) ![]() |
I disdain all our traditional rulership institutions. Do we really need them? What positive things have they done for their people in the last 50 years? In the north they fought against educating the masses, in the south they were instrumental to slave trade. We must emancipate ourselves from these leeches who are sometimes maintained with public funds. |
Sweetmarriage:Explain to them that it is a wholesome act within marriage. This is a good time to educate them on their bodies and best practices in this area: Abstinence, faithfulness etc And less than best practices: Safety and contraception. The danger of risky behaviour etc. The discussion should be relate-able and evolving. They have seen it so no more bush-beating. |
They won't do this in their country but in Naija... |
My Parents had theirs at Obudu. It is a wonderful getaway. |
Nigerians don't learn sha. A bank near a waterway was robbed some time ago. Now this has happened again. Nobody learnt a lesson from the first one and no one is learning from this one again. |
wristwatch:Abeg these thing can be done by mistake. Not everyone that bumps into you in a cramped bus or a push-push queue has "current" in mind. What about when a guy does it to a guy by mistake... especially on Okada. Una dey comlain of dragging hand in market, whether you are a guy or lady, if you enter Tejuosho or Katangwa dem go drag your hand joor. Sometimes I sit in bus and my knee is touching the lady sitting in my front, she go dey look me somehow but she is the one actually sitting so backward that she is entering my space. I tire for una. ![]() |
It should be investigated but handled carefully to avoid impact on troops morale. We need to start learning to tackle our own indiscipline so that people from outside don't tell us. For those who said AI have not talked to BH on their own act, how silly can you be? BH is not an arm of the Nigerian government, BH does not have a social contract with the Nigerian citizen hence it is a waste of time to tell people whose law is violent, that they are violent. It is like asking someone to tell a criminal not to commit his crime in a bad way, he is already a criminal. BH should and will be dealt with as a criminal group to the full extent of the law. What AI is pointing out is actually very useful, let us not use the habit of defending our own to condone indiscipline that will cause us future problems just as we did in Odi. The investigation should be properly done to clear the name of the Nigerian Army and our hardworking, devoted servicemen and fish out the bad eggs. |
free2ryhme:APC and PDP are basically the same. Sure there are one or two individuals who are distinct but the difference is not clear. |
Uncle Amaechi you forgot to add "NOT". |
INTROVERT:God Forbid. Chineke ekwela ihe ojo. Tufia The Rochas who mismanaged state funds till the state started owing nearly a year salary. Rochas who sold Imo assets in unclear manner to unclear owners eg. to a company named Roche Group (let us hope the name is a coincidence) Please let us not praise the wrong people. |
She is not a senator. We go still catch them later |
