My main gripe is the expectations that people put on the LGBT community.

Gay people are people, so they aren't obliged to be extra good and you don't have to see them as extra bad because of their sexuality.

That stomach pain you mentioned may be a health issue oh, she needs to see a good doctor if that is the case.

Outside that, try to understand her past experiences and attitudes to sex, she may need therapy or that is just her nature and you should be either ready to accept it or ready to part ways.

Porn is not real life. They prepare before their shoots, by cleaning that whole area and that process can be easy or stressful depending on the person involved. So to do it with someone, they must do the same or be careful.

I am 22 years old and i am homosexual. I am trying To remember how all these started To create a correlation in understanding this lifestyle and possibly finding a solution.

In pornography, i started with heterosexual pornography as every normal boy, heterosexual sex games and heterosexual thought while masturbation for a year, until i saw gay porn six years ago and never went back. But i am now trying To stop porn all together

I personally believe there is a nature and nurture component to being gay.

So part of it is due to your nature, and part of it is due to absorbing stuff like porn.

I'd say you shouldn't look down on yourself for being gay, but if your moral leaning or religion says you should avoid homosexuality, all I can say is that you should try to avoid porn for 6 weeks and see what the effects are. You can substitute porn for exercise. If you don't see much change, it may not be totally about nurture for you.

Outside your moral suasion, you may want to explore your sexuality to understand yourself, there are some resources on the internet to help (not porn). Either way, staying off porn for a while will help clear your head.

There is a friend of mine,we met in school infact he's my course mate, but we were not as close as this when we were in 100lv , but as we were entering higher levels we started relating better.

Don't try to help anyone be straight.

You can tell him clearly that you aren't open to his advances and he should please mind boundaries around you, if he doesn't it is ok to give him some distance.

If he learns to mind his boundaries, then no issues. Let him be gay and stop trying to convert him and enjoy the other parts of your friendship.

You have two options:

1. Don't express the feelings or urges: Just like Monks, Spiritual people or other secular celibates of straight or gay persuasion, you can choose to learn to master and overcome your sexual urges. Everyone needs to learn this to some degree but some people choose to totally overcome or suppress their urges. 2. Express them in a healthy environment: You are not the first gay or bisexual person in existence, and you won't be the last. In a society like Nigeria you just need to find the right people who can accommodate you or maybe move countries. It needn't impact your life much and if your moral and spiritual background is not against being gay, you may want to explore this. Once you start exploring you will find tons of advice and literature on the internet and may meet people who have gone through the same conflicts as you have. Please look out for those who want to set you up or take advantage of you, especially in Nigeria.

The path you will follow depends on a number of things, your spirituality: if your adherence to religion and your beliefs are against homosexuality, please don't push it for the time being and follow option 1, as you grow older, you will know what to do; if it doesn't you may consider slowly exploring option 2.

your risk tolerance: Nigeria is a very dangerous place to be gay (funny since this is a country where rape, corruption, fornication and adultery are common), so if your risk tolerance is very low, you can stick with option 1, but if your risk tolerance grows, option 2 may be explored slowly and carefully.

No matter your choice, it is important to not base your view on yourself and self worth solely on your sexuality: You aren't bad or good simply because you are gay or straight; try to have a life outside sex and lust (this may mean scaling back on porn and masturbation). You also need activities that give you , joy, purpose and fulfillment such as work and a hobby.

You also need to work with therapists and professional counselors, I'd advice you seek out therapists that are aligned with social work NGOs, mental health NGOs and LGBT friendly NGOs.

I'd also advice you pick up fitness and maybe mindfulness to help you master yourself and your urges, whether you choose to be celibate or not.

In everything please be careful, know that you have a lot to offer the world and your urges aren't a path to evil of themselves but a part of your life.

I think you should focus on your books and your schooling.

People have a right to stare and you have a right to ignore.

If you are not gay, don't be bothered. When you should be bothered is if someone tries to touch you or play with you without your context.

Also if someone asks you out, you can turn them down politely.

It seems you aren't used to hostel, guys behave weird sha and it may not be gay.

If you think it is too much, get your own off campus accommodation.

Oh one more thing, are you fully sure you are not gay or bisexual, because the way you are noticing them too much may say something about you

The IMF Senior Resident Representative and Mission Chief for Nigeria, Mr Amine Mati, has said that Nigeria’s debt to gross domestic product ratio at 28 per cent has increased but is still below the average sub-Saharan Africa and Africa as a whole.

He said this at the public presentation of the ‘Fall 2019 issue of the regional economic outlook for sub-Saharan Africa,’ in Lagos on Wednesday.

While mentioning that the revenue to GDP was low, he urged the Federal Government to increase its drive to create more jobs and revamp its fiscal consolidation.

He said, “Nigeria’s debt has increased but the level is way below the average for the region. Even if we include the CBN overdraft and others, we are talking about a debt to GDP ratio that does not go beyond 27 to 28 per cent to GDP and that is including AMCON overdrafts and others.”

On fiscal consolidation, he said, “For resource intensive countries and the non-resource intensive countries, one thing that is common is that when there is trade shock, they have to react. So, you lose revenues, debt

“In most countries, you would see debt is about 50 per cent to GDP and has increased since 2016 in all cases. But what is new is that most of the countries are back on a sustainable path and have plans to reduce debt through fiscal consolidation and they seem to have stabilised.”

“The growth in per capita to the GDP since 2016 has been sustained for the 12 group of countries and has stayed sluggish for the group of countries because they have to be dealing with trade shock and how they respond to the shock has also affected what is their path.”

In April, at the joint annual spring meetings with the World Bank in Washington DC, the IMF had expressed worry over Nigeria’s ability to repay its foreign debt, which was put at N24.387tn.

In October, the IMF at another forum called for an effective debt management strategy that would ensure that the amount borrowed posed limited risk and the funds deployed for developmental purposes.

The Managing Director, Financial Derivatives Company, Mr Bismarck Rewane, said, “We don’t have a debt crisis; we have a revenue problem but there are also other problems such as poverty, productivity. So, it is not as if we have a debt or revenue problem. Also, what we use our revenue for is also important.”

Rewane, who is also a member of the President’s Economic Advisory Council, added, “The government expenditure and the government investment multiplier is much lower than the private sector multiplier and the difference between the flow of wealth and the stock of wealth is a different story.”
