Dear Nigerian youths, rape is not a justifiable punishment for any offence. Rape is unacceptable. |
dddrexjr:The thing tire me. ![]() |
This is sad, I hope the government can proceed to stop these animals in the next few months. |
simongonner:Which one is "Area"? ![]() |
NO TO JUNGLE JUSTICE Our policemen must be more alive to their responsibility. If we are killing thieves like this, what are we doing to the people stealing hospital money and making people die cheap death? What are we doing to the guy who is making refinery money to miss? Please Nigerians, let us stop being penny wise but pound foolish |
Always keep your eyes open when going to a bank. |
chigoizie7:I am not one of those who doesn't know that our governors led by Amaechi were behind the depletion of the ECA. I also know about the difficulties in selling our crude. However, anyone that knows the depth and etiology of Nigeria's problems can permit the man a little time to settle and do some internal and backroom work before the criticism starts. |
Yes, I knew some of the campaign promises were unrealistic But I think he definitely needs more time. All our past presidents, submitted their ministerial list around the end of June so baba isn't too late yet. There will be things and time to criticize or praise, but for now we wait. ![]() |
raayah:It took a second read to see the "sarcasm" (in small fonts) This doesn't read sarcastically in any way. It is just like saying to someone you don't know "You are mad" and claiming sarcasm. Sarcasm needs wit, guile and barb... It isn't just about saying something So your "joke" being misunderstood is more your fault than anybody else's Better luck next time ![]() |
Amaechi and Wike were 5 and 6 up to a few years ago. That is why I laugh when you call one of them a saint because he is in one party or the other. Rivers people should simply demand for good governance. If Wike grants it to them then he will be better than Amaechi (the man who grounded their judiciary) in that aspect. |
No one should blame FG for what these states are suffering. Remember that states were given funds from the ECA and Sure-P, what did these governors especially the 2nd term guys do with it? Some of these guys got the Highest share of the ECA and normal allocations, yet they are beggin, The states who are doing more with less and paying most of their salaries e.g Enugu, CR and Ebonyi do they have two heads? Rochas Okorocha is a disappointment and an embarrassment. Imo state that was the firsst state to build a IPP in the 80s is now a beggar state. Imo people are stupid sha and Imo PDP is also stupid for bringing out a bad option like Ihedioha. Imo has more competent people than these people. A cursory look at Imo senators and I am even more disappointed they voted 3 useless people. IMO STATE, where you people sleeping during the election. If na human being do una this thing, e no go better for the person oh. |
Which word is spelt wrong here? Please tell us who are illiterate. "Foolscap" is the correct spelling check https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foolscap Dewise is a name and hence is not governed by spelling rules. "Product" and "paper mills" are also correct. I don't know why "fly" means there. Is it the size of the paper? Please tell us, so that we can learn too. ![]() |
Thank God for this pic. #BringBackOurGirks exists for one reason only to inspire government and international action that will lead to the rescue or release of the kidnapped Chibok girls. #BringBackOurGirls will end (in its present form) only when the girls are safely returned. For those asking why the movement is not directed at Boko Haram the answer you are searching for is in Nigeria's constitution. The answer is "THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SECURITY AND WELFARE OF ITS CITIZENS...." Nigerians do not have a social contract with Boko Haram they have with their government hence it is sensible to ask the government (which has the military, police etc at its disposal) to bring them back. Has the movement been to the detriment of the GEJ government and the benefit of the APC: Yes it has and this is no one's fault but the GEJ administration. They managed both the incidence and the pleas for help badly abeg. GEJ's admin handled the case poorly. Who here will tell me that not reacting for nearly three weeks to a kidnap of this scale is how they would want their government to act if their daughter was involved. Who here will tell me that lying that the girls had been released when they haven't been was a goo way to handle it. Who here will tell me that arresting the mothers asking for help was a good way to handle the incident If GEJ had reacted better and earlier do you think this case would have needed a movement or protest? The kidnap incident itself should be investigated for conspiracy not judged by conspiracy theorist who want to support their political candidate. I think it is time we stop the politically-motivated conspiracy theories and call for the case to be handled properly. Love RE |
Actually, efforts are stil being made to find the girls. It is only people like you that do not see the efforts. You also have to consider the fact that the new govt asked for time to settle. It is this inability of President Jonathan and His supporter & Sycophant to properly manage cries from the people and their tendency to label legitimate calls for govt action as opposition that ultimately cost them the last election. If they continue doing so, they will continue to lose. Keep finding ways to call citizens asking for govt action opposition to justify govt malfeasance at your own risk. |
mentorandfriend:This is sad, I was a victim of their shenanigans in 2012 and even heard of a girl that got killed around that time too. |
Simply go to http://www.codecademy.com/ they have packages for beginners and it is free. |
mentorandfriend:I thought the upper Iweka problem had been cleared. Do you mean to say that place is still rowdy and unsafe? |
Before we rush to comment, how much of this is even true? |
The people of Osun must ask how Aregbe spent the Excess Crude Account and Sure-P funds. How did he improve IGR? He and other governors must not be allowed to escape with using FG as an excuse. The states that are paying and working do not have two heads. HOLD YOUR GOVERNORS ACCOUNTABLE. Especially those who have spent more than 4 years in power. |
These men imposed Sharia law in their states for political reasons only to flagrantly disregard such laws. I think they are the ones making a mockery of their religion more than anyone on the outside. It is always the followers of a religion that weaken and trivialize the religion the most not even outsiders. (Be it Buddhism, Christianity, islam etc). |
I think it is good that we are talking about these issues now. Making a democracy work involves more than voting in one party or another every four years. We must learn to hold people accountable and mark them closely. That said, we should have paid more attention to NASS election than presidential elections because the national assembly is needed to bring lasting change in terms of laws and policies. We should take #OccupyNASS very seriously before the NASS becomes a spanner in the wheel of our progress. |
