@Deepzone

I am combining your posts.

Firstly, he wasnt crucified and was lifted up.
He came for the children of Israel.
Is it the same Jesus you claimed was a slave in the other thread? who lifts their slave up abeg? huh

Was Jesus a Christian? Since followers of christ are christians, what is Jesus then that happen to be a 'christian' grin
I've told you before that christianity is not a religious entity. we are followers of Christ just like Americans are people from America. Will you ask me whether christopher Columbus that discovered America was an American?
Good. In what way did I go against his teaching and where DID HE tell you to accept him as your personal saviour and Lord.
Read your bible. (John 3:16)

Jesus is not going to judge the world but Allah alone.
Read your bible in john 14:6."Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Hope you remember that you created a similar thread in which I gave you biblical verses but you still didnt make up your after showing you the truth.
I dont remember
What religion did Adam, Noah, Elijah, Elisha, Job, Moses practiced and which did Jesus practiced. Could God send two prophets with different religion? God said in the bible that he is not author of confusion
Was Christopher Columbus American?. Are moslems not the followers of mohammed? How did the men above follow mohammed besides, these men were in existence before our new covenant with God through Christ. Their religion is irrelevant.

Who said they are both equal? Do you think he would be raised up if he had died?
Mohammed will have remained dead like Jesus of oyinbo if he tried that stunt and he knew thats why he didn't tamper it. Mohammed was human but Jesus was God that came in human flesh.

Because I don't want you to lose and Muslims are closer to Jesus than you because he is a muslim.
More like from their stalking behavior towards christians.
Point correction. He didnt die and that is one of the reason he would be coming to tell you that he didnt die, crucified, recurrected etc.
You can say it again but it's better and easier to believe than to hate. tongue

You may not have similar passage in your book due to the work of the bible writers that edited, re-edited to suit their selfish purpose. Going through the bible, you would see that it has some passages, teachings similar to the Quran and come to think of it, there is nowhere Jesus called you christian or brought another teaching different from the one in existence and he even told you that he didnt come to annul any law but to fulfil it.
What selfish purpose? How will I know the similarities between the bible and koran when I don't even know the koran exists. Why the undue interest in christianity by muslims? We are not interested in Islam and that is the last thing we discuss in our churches because unlike you guys, we are not insecure and hungry for the real truth.
Come on baby, you can google out how Quran come into being and do same for the bible and you would realize the truth. Which Scholars wrote it?
Why not tell me. Most internet sources are doctored.
Who are you referring to? No need of chipping in something to deceive people, truth stands from falsehood.
What is their motive for deceiving people? It's not as if they have the sole right to market christianity to the world for a fee.

Firstly, I believe in Jesus as the slave and Messenger of Allah, sent to Banu Israel, children of Israel.
Jesus was not a slave my friend. He came as the messiah and that is what He is till this day.

Secondly, he didnt die let alone resurrecting and didnt die for your sins at all.
Another pigment of your inferiority complex. Olabowale asked for death cert b/c apparently, there was no rigor mortis and how he knew this, I don't know. Why are you trying so hard to deny the death and resurrection of Christ? I am not surprised because that was one thing that separated Him from other prophets. No need to playa hate tongue tongue, just believe because it's free.

I know the functions of a condom. . . . .

Let Baby mommas marry Baby fathers.
I would die FIRST before i date a baby momma(never mind marriage).
You don't know tomorrow o because these words may come back and haunt you.

Assuming you were married and have a child but along the line, the marriage failed or your spouse died, will you limit your search for a new wife to only baby mamas and divorcees?. Won't you consider women that are not with children? Is that what you are saying?

lol, I love it when people post comments out of bias and not common sense.

I don't know where you have been in the past decade or so but the Nigerian economy has been getting good ratings up to this moment. I don't know what about the economy you plan to fix but I say 7% growth average over the past decade does not seem an issue. Are the people currently reaping the welfare and good life? Is all well even as the economy is continually getting high marks from international institutions like the world bank and merril lynch? Instead of labelling comments you do not understand as junkie comments, why not ask questions when you do not understand the post?
Yes but not the majority yet. I still dont understand how you propose welfare to Nigerian citizens with one hand and decline help to their economy. How will you do it, Mr Nigerian messiah? or do you want to consult Nuzo first before you tell us?

Should've been more serious about diversifying the economy. . . . . .hopefully no one is surprised by this news. . . . . .what is it, above 90% of revenue comes from oil/gas? Too bad, too sad. . . . .hopefully the people up top learn from this failure, and Nigeria's economy will change its current course, and develop smartly. No more ignoring crucial sectors like agriculture, the private sector, manufacturing, tourism, etc. . .
I don't know why we wait for the dying minute before making preparations. Nigeria should have armed themselves with the proceeds from the oil money that has been flowing for about 30 years now.

I cannot kiss a woman with a love child(never mind dating her).
Sauron does not involve himself in all those ragged, vapid, inane relationships.
Will you like a woman to say the same about you if you have a love child in a failed relationship/marriage?
Culture › Popular Nigerian Urban Legends by RedHotChic(op): 10:25pm On Nov 23, 2008
Tell us one popular urban legend you grew up hearing in Nigeria. Are there some of the urban legends that are so convincing and believable even as adults?. Like the aare ona kakanfo urban legend, people getting blessing for drinking the sultans birth water, refusing to marry the oba after he asks you for marriage, snapping Ekiti masqurade and getting a picture of lizard instead, putting roasted human beings in the closet for money rituals etc. Also, is generally juju an urban legend?. How do we purge our mind from that mentality as a nation?

I still remember when they tell us that if you eat jollof rice at night, your face will swell in the morning.
Culture › Re: Is Our Culture The Problem? by RedHotChic(op): 10:18pm On Nov 23, 2008
Exactly. . . . One's culture does not define one's self.
Our Culture might be our identity, but there are times we have to think, and say "hmm, this is not right. I need to change it".
Sometimes what my people think is proper (such as a younger brother marrying his older brother's widow), I think is wrong, and I try to avoid it.
Then how do we mobilize people to change their tribal mentality since self help is almost not gonna happen?

Politics › Re: Lagos Bans Hawking By Children During School Hours by RedHotChic(f): 9:24am On Nov 23, 2008
1) Do we all really believe that only the ILLITERATE ones do this? We have many educated Illiterates in that country who commit some of these ills.
85% of them are illiterates and polygamists.

2) Do all these people really believe these kids are from God? I beg to differ. In my opinion, we have people down there who think having kids means free labourers. That seems to be what I see when I look at some of these cases. This has little to do with belief in God but more to do with individual perceptions of what role children play in a family and community as a whole.
It's like you've alienated yourself from Nigeria for so long. The reason above is so obsolete especially in the South because they are scarcely agrarian.

I think we should be more concerned about the welfare of the average Nigerian then we should be the Nigerian economy. Time and Time again, it has been shown that the fate of the average Nigerian is rarely affected positively by the state of the economy.
huh huh How do you start solving the financial problem of the common Nigerian without solving the economic issue first?. Where will they reap the welfare and good life from? Cameroun or Togo?. Or are you suggesting we open goodwill stores in every nook & cranny of Nigeria to cater for the poor while the funding comes from the air? huh You surprise me sometimes with the junkie like comments you make.

the country can as well declare bankruptcy if that happens. most nigerian states would crumble without the beautiful thing called federal allocation
Crumble you say? The states will be foreclosed and auctioned on Ebay to Dangote. How will our universities and federal hospitals function without oil money? How will workers in the federal ministry receive their salaries and pension?. The police will be given a special license to collect bribes without shaking. Una no sabi wetin una dey talk.

Long before condoms I heard about mandatory family planning on TV, radio etc in Nigeria, so these parents can't they couldn't do anything about the number of unplanned kids they have.
As long as a good number of Nigerians are uneducated, family planning will still be a far cry because the crux of an illiterates mind is to manufacture children because you don't need a Harvard degree to achieve that and they believe that Children are gifts from God that must be received as long as they keep coming.

Men know the exact words to make em melt like chocolates in the sahara desert.
Are u shitting me??
Big lie. Okafors law is limited and exists only in mens minds. Ask the ladies here and see how many that really think Okafors law is plausible in 70% cases?. whether the chic stepped higher or lower, it's not possible to bang them again after break up. Are you saying that if the man stepped higher in social status and the woman got married with three kids but remained the same level in status, the man can always have his way with her okafor style in 70% of the cases?. Okafors law may hold true for many western women but hardly work in the case of Nigerian women.

Yes as long as you have credibility as a man before me. Relationship/marriage is all about trust and I shouldn't be worried because you are hanging out with your EX. Culture › Re: Is Our Culture The Problem? by RedHotChic(op): 11:21pm On Nov 22, 2008
that'd be a huge mistake. . . our culture is our identity
Our identity is not necessarily tied to our culture and banning decentralized cultures does not mean that there will be none left to identify us. Some aspects of our culture like tribal marks has been lost by virtue of modernization and western religion yet we still maintain our identity after that.
Culture › Re: Is Our Culture The Problem? by RedHotChic(op): 11:18pm On Nov 22, 2008
No,culture is not our problem.
We need to change ourselvesour reasoning/mentality,attitude and approach and outlook to life.
How do we evolve into something else drastically when about 70% of us are uneducated and very tribal?. If Nigeria becomes a confederate state, it means that an Hausa man born in Ibadan is no more from Sokoto but from the state of oyo even though his parents are originally from Sokoto. It also means that all the benefits due to any Oyo indigene including political appointments and offices can be given to him. From your perspective, do you think that dream can be achieved in Nigeria in the next 100 years if we resort to self help to change our mind?

Is it proper to be uncomfortable about it when you trust him so much?. Is trust not the issue here and it shows all of us are failing on the trust issue.
