I went to school at rhodes grahamstown.Its a tiny town and it is really à retirement home for old people with no life. But it would be too boring for me ! The arts festival is just one month in the year.

Hell. That's what did it for me. I can't remember a specific moment this got to me but what I now find completely unreconcilable is the concept of hell. Eternal punishment for a finite earthly crime. Impossible to reconcile this with anything other than an evil God.

I became agnostic before I was able to fully embrace my atheism. It was just an easier hat to wear at the time. Now I stand firm in my godlessness. I am free.

Tell it to them hopefully it leads them to see through the sham that is religion sooner.

God makes the rules so any limitation in the bible is his doing. All he had to do was just not put that restriction there and then he can reveal himself and save a far greater number of his creation. He gives us critical minds he then expects us to just believe everything? Does not make sense.

I am an agnostic atheist. Or a weak atheist. I dont claim to know anything. (Female too for the benefit of the op).
My position is that I lack belief in what theists are saying. Thats it! I simply do not believe them. That is what atheism is at a basic level.
I am deliberately not saying a God certainly does not exist as I cannot know that.

eg If you tell me you have 100 million dollars in your account. I will definitely lack belief as this is a Huge claim with no evidence, but i will not say I know for sure you dont have that, as i dont know you.

Other atheists (strong/positive atheists) go a step further and assert that God does not exist. Not all atheists hold that view. Just like not all Christians are catholic.

Anyway, As you have written, GOD is a humanbeing. That GOD is a spirit is the handing work of the devils, which suggests that devils too are humanbeings. The incorporeability of GOD was what the devils used to take over the world.

Does GOD die? NO! GOD can not die but HE does have to renew Himself or Herself over and over again until this present universe is over and the next universe is created. The people are the same who came from the previous universe, with them the animal and the plant original totem, from which every species is created.

My premise was that the Big Bang is the origin of time itself so there can't be a 'before the Big Bang' in the conventional sense. However, physicists can theorize conditions from the very first moments. Also, with knowledge gained from quantum physics, they could also in a way hypothesize and describe mathematically pre-BB conditions but without the dimension, time.

Never seen anything supernatural in my life till date. In africa we are so quick to point to supernatural explanations for everything.

I used to hear noises in the night when I was like 8-12 years. Knocking noises. Those noises were so real to me. I cant believe it was just in my head. But that is not enough for me to revise everything i know about the world.

Also waking up with scratches is hardly sufficient proof of the supernatural. he could scratched his own face in his nightmare.
