Romance / Re: Nigerian Man Shares His Encounter With A Ghost At A Bank by Rednaxelot: 5:08pm On Dec 12, 2019
for good five minutes this man is still in the toilet, to make case more scary for me, the man was standing, which means he wasn’t really going to toilet. I knocked in the door again “ gbom!! gbom!!! Sir please am still waiting for you” I said, he then closed the toilet door completely, and that was were the demonic power came in, the sound I was hearing before all stop, I stand there for more 10 minutes, I decided to open the door gently, until the door was widely open, the man was nowhere to be found, to my surprise, the water sink tap was running, the power bank I saw him enter with was there, but no trace of the man.
Why didn’t you go and check the soak away outside, probably the man has flushed himself through the water closet into the soak away?

The ghost came into your house before you and told you never to tell anyone. Didn’t the ghost see you while telling the security what you saw?

Please OP, stop watching African Magic again

However, highly placed sources said on Wednesday that the DSS may be investigating how some documents quoted by Newsdiary online leaked.
IMO, I don’t think the DSS should be so much after @how the documents leaked”, but acting on the content of the documents

Am running out of time sir. Am already 26yrs old, by next year I will be 27. An M.Sc may position me for better opportunities in the future.
Please give me practical advice.
Why tossing a coin with your life?

Perhaps another way to look at it, make a survey and look into your seniors with MSc certificate in the discipline, were they able to get something done to sustain their lives with the certificate?
How much are they paid and how immediately we’re they able to secure a job with the MSc cert?

The only reason why I can advise to to quit the job for school is if the job is not a secured one.

Good evening guys, I trust you all had an amazing day.
I have a problem which has been bothering me for a while now. I recently landed a job few months ago. The pay is not all that wonderful. When I add my other allowances, it sums up to 90k per month. I have been squating with a friend for some time now so am planning on getting my own apartment next year when I save up some money. The only beauty about my job is that it gives you alot of free time. I can be done with work as early as 1:30pm and go home.
I am thinking of going back to school for my M.Sc in UNILAG but as it is, I am my own sponsor. I have a first degree in Biochemistry.
Should I go back to school or continue working?
Does UNILAG offer part time options for students in my line of study?
You are fortunate to be employed and not wandering in the labor market.

You wanna go back to school for MSc, after then come back to the labor market.

What guarantees you that your MSc is a sure ticket to bring meals to your table?

I advise if you could find a way of shuttling between the two, work and school, and not minding the stress, it’s ok. Resigning from work to purse an advance certificate in Nigeria is not advisable.

Slovenian football club have terminated the contract of their Nigerian winger for impregnating the clubs president’s daughter.

The player who’s name is (not revealed)was signed by the Slovenian second division club side six months ago.
well,
Only unsuccessful club can do this to an unknown player.

Chelsea Football club which is a world elite football club(hyperbole intended tongue) had Mikel Obi (one of the most courted prodigies) impregnating the President’s niece and nothing happened, he was gladly welcomed as an in-law (off pitch anyway, e no concern business o).

Had it been Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi who had impregnated his president’s daughter, would they be sacked?

Education / OAU Will Exit National Grid By December 31 — VC by Rednaxelot: 1:52pm On Dec 08, 2019
The management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, has attributed the delay in the exit of the institution from the national grid to the reorganisation that occurred in the Ministry of Power.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Eyitope Ogunbodede, had on Monday, July 15, while declaring open the African Institute for Science Policy and Innovation International Biennial Conference, held at the campus said the institution planned to exit the national grid by October and generate its own energy.

However, Ogunbodede, while addressing a pre convocation press briefing on Friday, explained that the independent power project of the university was still on course.

He explained that the new completion date for the power project, through which the university would generate 8.08 megawatts of electricity, had been shifted to the end of year 2019.

He said, “There was reorganisation in the Federal Ministry of Power and change of leadership occurred. The completion time was initially December 2019, but the fast pace of work on the project made us to target October for the completion.

“Reorganisation in the Federal Ministry of Power is the reason we could not meet that target. But this December, we plan to exit the national grid. The project is on course.”

Giving the breakdown of the graduands, Ogunbodede said 7,208 students would earn degrees of diplomas in various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

He said, “Of this number, 4, 756 are classified bachelor degrees, while the rest 536 are unclassified. Furthermore, 124 of these graduands have First Class Honours; 1,795 have Second Class Honours (Upper Division), 2, 256, have Second Class Honours (Lower Division), while 542 and 39 are graduating with Third Class Honours and Pass respectively.

“Similarly, of the 1, 917, postgraduate degrees; 59 are postgraduate diploma, 923 are Professional Masters, and 675, 52, and 208 are Masters with Research Thesis, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy respectively.”

According to him, during the convocation, three eminent Nigerians will receive honorary doctorate degrees of the university. They are a marketing communications practitioner, Mr Biodun Shobanjo, President of African Export- Import Bank, Dr Benedict Oramah and chairman, First Bank of Nigeria, Plc, Mrs Ibukunoluwa Awosika.
