blink182: You don't want the children to be flogged, you don't want them ridiculed to correction, when they become brats you still blame the school. I beg make una go sidon for one place.
Children are better off brats, confident nad intelligent than obedient, timid and stu-pid.Chidren learn by examples nad creative challenges, not by beating and ridiculing,it subdues their mental development and confidence.

Yes,you can ground or section an unruly child.Deprive him/her of what he/she enjoys on a good note(except food),then the child will associate bad behaviour to not having what he/she wants. It gives them some sense of responsibility, and it helps them learn to tow the line of doing the right thing.

Children are the reflections of adults, their standard of bahaviour and IQ are determined by the starndard of the behavoiurs and IQs of their mentors.

It better not be true, because i said in the first place it cant be true.It will be like taking the whole nation for a ride and telling all villains like him that it is normal to take laws into their hands,as long as they can get away with it.
Education › Re: Is It Right For Teachers To Encourage Pupils To Shame Classmates? by redsun(m):
Teachers seems to torment children physically and mentally in nigeria, like oyedepo. They subdue children's feelings, insticnts, intuitions, creativity and learning with their crude form of teaching, just like abusive parents.

Anybody that hurts a child in any form, mentally, physically and otherwise should be sacked and jailed, especially teachers who are one of the major players in shaping children's future.

Nigerians should cry out like they cried out for aluu savagery for the open and deliberate bastardization of law by an ape like obj who is suppose to be at the forefront of maintaining law and order in naija.

It is a dent to the future of nigerians yet unborn and alive. And a dent to sanity,a dent to progresss, same as his atrocity of stealing our 16 billion dollars that he hasnt given account till this day and nobody is talking about it.

Obj should be stoned,he deserves more tha aluu treatment. His a scourge to humanity.

It is sad.In the 21st century. It must feel like hell.

I wonder why some nigerians are still searching for hell and heaven, even when they are living it out?

What the poster is describing as morals and respects are the factors that have kept nigerian youths subdued mentally.Their zombie like state in the name of "obedience" has blinded them to the ills of the socaled elders that are the bane of their futureless destinies.

A generation that is in no way different from almajiris and madrassa products, except that they dont blow themselves up with bombs because they dont have the guts.No guts to live and no guts to die.

Feed me more: Which trader? If you believe that story, you can believe anything.
Traders are politicians made up mallams they must have been paid to claim the ownership of the stolen cash.Without detail investigation by nigerian rogue law enforcement of how they made the money, why they collectively gave it the courier and for what purpose?

Do we still hear of otedola-farouk case? How about halliburton?
Education › Re: Teacher Flogs 12-year-old Pupil To Death by redsun(m): 10:51am On Oct 24, 2012
luluosas: I don't believe the girl died as a result of the flogging. After all, my master once flogged me with quarter rod iron and I am still alive till today.
Not everybody dies from violent abuses, but it leaves marks in different ways. The mark of inherent abuse in nigerian society is people's inability to use their cognitive senses, hence the unreasonableness, chaos and miseries.

Adults are like babies, because they have learnt the facts of life that they have to use thier brains and initiatives in solving problems, instead of resorting to senseless copying, force and violence like they have been taught.

lakeside101: It is just so unfortunate how our value system as a nation has been seriously eroded and our priorities have been misplaced placing personality over rule of law.It baffles me more to know that the okada men and average man on the street that are supposed to support the idea of ONE LAW FOR ALL are the same people calling fashola names for selfish and vision-less intrest .
What fashola is doing democratically is the same thing idiagbon/buhari did militarily ,WAI,war against indiscipline.

It is going to come and if only he can do away with obvious rogues like tinubu,he will be in a better position to take the fight with his head up high to the subcreatures that refuse to learn

Some miscreants here were blaming the oba of benin recently for wanting to teach a lesson to the animal called teacher that flog his grand daughter.

Is there any surprise why nigeria is grooming zombies as educated? No,because the teachers themselves are zombies. Most of them are not capable of training dogs, talkless of children that are expected to grow up and reason.

There is always a high price tag for sanity. You got to win some and lose some sometimes.

There got to be some order and the way traffic is managed in burstling cities like lagos is quite disoderly and nightmarish, getting it right will mean stepping on lots toes, distabilizing lives, but in the long run, saving so many.

But the question is,is he putting the cart before the horse?Could he have provided some kind of relative alternatives first before tackling the menacing issues?

I dont think fashola will be that dumb to interfere with the law by not allowing an offender to pay his fine and retrive his vehicle. He doesnt have to get involve in the first, anyway, neither should obj.All he has to is get his offending driver to comply with the law,pay his fines,if it a finable offence and retrieve his vehicle, then learn not make the same mistake,or else he will be sacked.

Militancy is racketeering in nigeria. If the socalled niger delta militants are getting the said amount you guys are mentinoning here for doing nothing and for not representing the people, then some muderfucker in the north will want to form their own dissident clique,in islamic way of course and extort the government(rogues)like the niger deltans. That explains why they are handling the supposed terrorists with kid gloves and why senators are terrorists.

Nigeria is run by animals in human skin, irrespective of any region.

Prof Corruption: The bolded is confirmed. Nobody can do such an abominable thing to Obasanjo, not even Fasola. Obasanjo is a god, not even devil, as far as Nigerian politics is concerned. You underestimate him at your own peril.
That is dark age concept, nigeria can not remain like that.If not you guys will be extinct in no time.A society can not function without unversal laws that everybody abide by.

Even the neanderthals had some kind of laws.

homerac7: so many comments showing the root cause of the unfortunate situation Nigeria found herself in.

first, i don't believe d story. otherwise OBJ would hav simply played into d hands of d Fashola by doing so. Imagine Fashola getting court warrant to go search OBJ farms and all his compunds in Lagos and Ogun (afterall, na ACN dey there and they will gladly join in d fray to finally humble OBJ). That will create so much embarassment for him that he will lose lot of respect and goodwill he's enjoying in international circuit. Whatever happens afterwards from PDP federal power will b a bye-news and at best, damage management for immediate time. But by then, OBJ would hav been fully dragged in mud by "children".

I don't think he would want to risk many possibilities of humilation in hands of those governors. so i don't think he would do this.
From the comments some suppose "bright" nailander/rians are making here,it seems like people like him casaully get away with such act of insorbordination just because they are in power. And the same reason why they think they can casually help themselves with the public funds in their trust, without fear of any consequencies.Just because some foo-lish nigerian have been indoctrinated to think that public servants are above the law.

Are the militants the people or just disidents?

We can never have peace and order in our land if animals like obj are allowed to roam lawlessly. What applies to obj, applies to a street sweeper or a truck pusher in accordance with the law.Anything otherwise is lawlessly which equals roguery(rogue state) and that is what nigerians are suffering today.

I dont think region is the problem, but the creeds that the nation is built on,which are endemic corruption and unpatriotism. That burning urge for the people to grab what ever they can get from the "national cake" is the main cankerworm that has destroyed the nation.

Split nigeria into family units without addressing the need for patriotism, selflesness and the essence of being, the "fit" in those family units will still dominate and oppress the weak. And that explains why all the regions, down to local governments are undeveloped even when they all get montly allocations from the centre.

Gbawe: grin grin grin grin "Crusade"? From your diasporan bedsit? grin grin grin Yeah right . Dream on clown. I ask again, what singular investment do you even have in Nigeria or anywhere in Africa? What have you done for any Nigerian? When were you even in the continent of Africa last let alone Nigeria?

Shall we talk about specific things that test your local knowledge of Nigeria i.e the nation you pretend to care about so much?

For all I know, and from how you talk, you are one of those ultra frustrated African-Americans losers who embrace Africa fervently because they are zeros in their Nation of origin. They are always looking to feel good about failed lives brought about because of their own total paranoid focus on 'obstacles' which led them to wastefully blame others entirely for their own wretched existence rather than acknowledge and address innate deficiencies.
I am a guru,i can only but lead you to a green pasture if you listen.I am not here to cause confusion, division or oppression,i am here to speak the truth, irrespective of who doesnt like it.Because i know that those that against the truth, are agents of darkness and i dont tolerate them.

Gbawe: look, there are many like you here. I.e fake pan-Africans, pseudo-nationalists and dubious 'uber' patriots all foaming at the mouth at others from the comfort of their diasporan bases. The simplest solution is for you to stop being a coward and get involved to secure the change you want. What single investment do you have in Nigeria ,or even any African Nation, for the level of attention-seeking rants you disturb others with on this forum daily? What is your real, current and tangible connection to Nigeria or Africa beyond the tedious blanket judgement and cursing of folks you bore the forum with daily?

What is the best and quickest way to change status quo than for so-called good men to get involved so that the 'baddies' they lambaste don't have their ways? Folks like you are worthless to Nigeria. All you do is make noise yet I bet you have probably not set foot in Nigeria for a long time and has probably never been in any African Nation outside Nigeria.

I have never seen you suggest anything positive, developmental or even remotely akin to solutions provision here. You call others animal with ease yet fail to appreciate you are the animal with how you curse non-stop, foam at the mouth and reduce everything to the barbaric notion of 'ALUUing' those , good or bad and for whatever motivation, still got involved to lead while you are happy to curse and villify from afar. People like you are nothing but frustrated and bitter souls totally worthless to the struggle of Nigeria. You offer nothing at all because you are jaded and bitter to the point of impotence.
Your oversized ranting cannot change the fact that you are a negative person, that you see solution in treacheary and evil leadership. But i am on the side,i know that what you and generations have to offer as solutions to human development is not good enough for the dogs and i can never come to terms with your type and your deluded imaginations of what is right.

You are the type people like me are on the crusade to crush and shine light in our world.

It is more to do with stereotyping, unfounded fear and christians delusions. They are the jokes in the story.

Several times we seen threads here that says christians preach and pray on nigerian themed airborne flights, then what stops aboki from doing so?Because all abokis have been stereotyped to be suicide bombers.
