Nigerians should say NO to elections where criminal gangs like PDP are political parties and aspirants.

What is point of elections when all we are getting are ruthless criminals?
Politics › Re: Atiku May End Up Being Our Next President by redsun(m): 3:34pm On Jul 28, 2010
It is a retarded situation, not even the italian mafias are as ruthless, insensitive, bloody, greedy and visionless as nigerian ruling elites.
Politics › Re: Atiku May End Up Being Our Next President by redsun(m): 3:26pm On Jul 28, 2010
Atiku will end up being a president in jail.Since it is a different government in there,he might use his stolen money to buy over his fellow inmates.

Nigerians should not participate in any basket case election unless people indicted in halliburton case, the 16billion dollars electricity projects, aswell as IBB 12 billion dollars illusion are brought to book.Wasting more of our hard earned revenues and lives to bring in new crop of thieves says alot about the mindset of nigerian electorates, that nigerian masses are like sheep, having no opinion of their own whatsoever.

Well in line with your arguement Jonathan himself must have issues. Afterall, he was a lecturer in the University too.

And just so before we leave that topic, its also in Nigeria that an English graduate cannot make a correct sentence in English and an Electrical Engineering graduate can also not tell the difference between a capacitor and a resistor.

Therefore, all of us who graduated from a Nigerian University must be piss poor!
Of course education in nigeria is more of face value,it does not have the productive, resourceful, inquisitive, intuitive and evolutionary status that are naturally associated with education in the true sense of it,that is why we are still thinking and living like tribes men and women in the 21st century.

I am just watching a channel 4 documentary right now about some nigerian churches in south london casting out witches on african children in  obodo oyibo of all places.Unfortunately most of the parents of the children are married and one will expect a marriage to work between foolish couples like that, that can't see beyond their noses.

Marriage is like a successful business union,it takes two people that are rationally in line with each other for it to work.

Only foolish flies follows coffin to the grave.I don't care what culture, only a foolish man will go out of his way and act stupid and outrageous for the sake of a bit-ch.

It is not worth the trouble to bother for something that can be replaced.A recent gun rampage and killing in england by one low life Moal was because a bitc-h dumped him and he couldn't take it,even when he has three lovely children to live for.

Hearing this story for the first time but what are you trying to imply?
Just wondering why some people think it is a slight on the side of nigerian academicians for jonathan to solicit for foreign expertise.

Is it not in nigeria that a dean of faculty of computer science could not operate a computer in a law court as a witness?Or was it just a rumor?

Ultimately the rebellious and illegitimate faction of the nigerian civil were what is now known as nigerian military and nigerian government.Ojukwu and those on his side were defending their constitutional rights as suppose nigerians and oppressed human beings

cap28:
The July 66 coup was a revenge attack by northern officers who had been manipulated by the british into beleiving that the January coup was an igbo coup.  The January 66 coup was actually a nationalist revolution aimed at toppling british appointed puppets.  The british knew that the only way they could crush a nationalist movement in nigeria was to stoke the flames of tribalism by pitting the igbos against the northerners and making the igbos  scapegoats  that is how they succeeded in crushing the nationalist revolutionary movement which had been planned by Ifeajuna, Nzeogwu and various other officers.

The likes of Babangida, Murtala Mohammed, Obasanjo, Danjuma et al were rewarded for returning nigeria back to the british and this is why they have remained rich and powerful to date.
True talk man. After the july massacre, the northerners were already evacuating lagos and the rest of the west enmass to form their own northern country but for the british intervention that promised them(gowon and co) the everlasting leadership of one fake nigeria and the failure of ogundipe to act in accordance with his plan with ojukwu to declare himself the commander in chief of federal republic of remaining nigeria.

It is such a wobbly platform that we are laying our foundation and we expect it to hold.
Politics › Re: Who Were The Original Secessionists That Led To Nigerian Civil War? by redsun(op): 10:20pm On Jul 25, 2010
Today nigeria is built on the foundation of injustices and blood sucking, that is why it can go nowhere. The situation is more complex than palestinian case fundamentally but because we are people that tend to overlook the past for the future,we think it is something we can push aside and move on.

Nigeria situation today can be likened to a situation where the nazi germany had won the war and continue with their atrocities as a system without any retributions whatsoever.
Politics › Who Were The Original Secessionists That Led To Nigerian Civil War? by redsun(op): 9:34pm On Jul 25, 2010
Before the 1966 coup, seventy percent of commissioned officers in nigerian army were igbos as a result of education and  in accordance with the strict protocols of nigerian military then based on excellence and fairness but during the coup that ultimately led to  the war, almost all the commissioned igbo officers in military were eliminated by northern officers led mutineers with the exception of those that were lucky to be in the eastern garrison that Ojukwu was in charge of.This then the brings some questions in mind, who were the real secessionists that led to the nigerian civil war and what was the real purpose of 1966 coup ?Was it a genocidal revenge on the igbos or a bid for secession by northerners who were already agitating at the same period to leave nigeria and have their own separate entity?

Some of those murderers like babagida, danjuma, gowon and co that committed the crime against humanity that we choose to sweep under the carpet are still major players in nigerian politics today.
Politics › Nigeria Is By Accident. by redsun(op): 3:31pm On Jul 24, 2010
I think it is time we begin to look deeply into the fact that we are not main to be a country naturally. We are different peoples brought together by recent accidents of history perpertuated by the british and we stoically and foolishly refuse to see beyond our noses to make things work in such a complex situation.

It is not working, minimizing the size of the confusion geographically and culturally might make a significant difference.Nigeria was not created by the british for the good of nigerian, therefore looking into the basis of why we are a country will do us a great deal of good, instead of pretending that all is well.

The way nigeria is today can be compared to bringing the french, the germans and the english together as one country with same constitution.

I am beginning to think that History will exonorate Ojukwu

That is why we are completely lost.Same as names we bear, micheal, richard, davidmangela elizabeth, eward, victoria, david, steven, name dem,fu-cking clolo mentality.

Just think of an english that bears segun, akintola or ejike, how strange it will seem but we find it normal bearing their names

The more we begin to understand how most things we subjectively and nonchalantly do today came about, the more we begin to realize out place in the whole scheme of things.

Most times we just think things are main to be and not subject to changes and deviations because we fail to understand what it is all about. We fail to understand that it is about dynamism,it is about adaptation, about essentiality and most of all about survival.

Actually English is a Germanic language. The original language of Great Britain was a Celtic language that was similar to Scottish, Welsh and Irish. English is a Romance Language that is descended from Latin just like Spanish, Italian and French. Plus, after the Norman invasion, French mixed with Anglo-Saxon language that was brought after the Roman left the island as their empire was crumbling.
Yeah,it is a mixture of indigenous celtic language and anglo saxon devoid of roman influence
Culture › Re: ‘igbo Language May Go Extinct’ by redsun(m): 10:41pm On Jul 20, 2010
We don't really have to speak english for mike sake if we can chart our own destiny.English is an imperial language and it will be greatly beneficial to us if we can develop own language and if an english man must deal with us,he will be forced to communicate in our language, that is power.

English people think it is their birth right to impose their language on others because they are superior.Their language have stood the test of time, even the roman invasion and occupation of england for centuries did not wipe out english language and it is still going strong because they understand the fundamental importance of a language,it is the pedigree of nation and in the absence of it,there is no nation or culture,no dignity.

That is why we need our own countries!

If there was a Biafra, Igbo would only be spoken except for English. Just like Twi is popular among Ghanaians besides English, we would be using Igbo.

The Yoruba could have their own Oduduwa Republic where Yoruba would be the official language. Hausa is actually easy to learn for people, and that is why they don't have a problem. It is like the Lingua Franca in Northern Nigeria, Mali, Ghana, Burkina Faso.
Very true.Language is a great unifying factor

I'll say Spanish has a better chance after English.

Most people don't even know a word in Chinese besides when people make up non-existent words that sound like how the language sounds to the ear. It's really not that common, in America anyway besides among Asians.
I think spanish has being,it is on it way out, just like portuguese.Chinese as bad as i may sound will soon colonize the world with way things are going.

If we are going to save our language we have to develop with, use it for scientific, social and cultural endeavours. If not it just going to die out slowly like it is doing now.

If chinese become the world power in the near future, definitely the rest of the especially africans who are always at the background will be forced to speak their language to be able to communicate with them in the quest for survival.

Of course a language that is not developing will inevitably die out and be replaced by the world language english, chinese might come later.Lanaguage extinction is one of the attributes of a lost culture and surppressed intuitive mental development.
