Christianity Etc › Re: What Are the 'Spirit/s Of Poverty'? by redsun(m): 9:25am On Jul 07, 2007
Poverty is of the mind, you are poor because you don't believe you can be rich,it is a choice based on one's imagination and general state of mind,on the other hand, one can be rich materially and still be poor in mind, wealth in the hand of a fool is like bubble,it can't hold.
Family › Re: Ever Lost Someone As Dear As Family? Come Light A Candle For Them Here by redsun(m): 7:54pm On Jul 03, 2007
I light a candle for my dad who moved on recently, nothing can ever replace him,a vacuum forever, and then again, such is life here today gone tomorrow, all we got is our legacy which continues in our offsprings. My dad was ahead of his time,he never use to bother about nigeria money craze but he maintained comfortably,i can see why now.He was a pillar to those who knew him,he was a free mason,a wise man. May he live on in me and all his children and his admirers.

Yeah, policy of assimilation is known topic in african goverment studies, but in real life,it's really working,it's a policy used by the french  to steal the mind of their colonial subjects,to totally renounce their root and believe in what they don't undersand and what they are not really part of.You can't imagine the reaction of a cameroonian when you tell him he's not french but an african,he will go haywire, even in south america, french guyana, they don't just want to hear they are not part of europe.
Nairaland General › Re: What Is The Nigerian Idea Of Smartness? by redsun(op): 7:13am On Jul 02, 2007
@ziddy,what is confusing you about the thread, the orientation in nigeria seems to be that when you are a custom officer and you dupe your establishment, you are smart, instead of being thrown in jail, same goes with NNPC,goverment ministries, central bank, even the presidency.i am not suprise you don't understand what i am saying, probably you don't know the diffrence, like i said,ORIENTATION.We need to change it.

Sports › Re: Formula 1 Fans Only. by redsun(m): 7:02am On Jun 30, 2007
Lewis is amazing,i actually become a formular 1 fan because of him,i love barrier breakers.I use to just see the sports as white man's game of showing their intelligence, which is actually true though,in africa people are still talking about food and shelter, while this people are just inventing and reinventing machines.I wonder why we can't do it,be able to over come the basic problems of life and see life as a toy which you can play with.

Onitsha is like a piggery, with all the money that comes from main market. It's just amazingly annoying.Don't get me wrong,i have not seen it for awhile now, probably it has change. Onitsha, suppose to rank with cities like tokyo, hong kong, venice etc, because of its strategic position, with the river most especially.
