Nairaland General › Re: What Is The Nigerian Idea Of Smartness? by redsun(op): 11:07am On Jul 14, 2007
Most of the top officials and dignitaries in nigeria are criminals because they dupe the system, and they are suppose to be role models for the young ones,so what kind of generation are they breeding, even the president is a known thief,i just don't get it,a thief is a thief,be it a burglar or a pen robber.

Politics › Re: Where On Earth Did Yaradua Get N850 Million. by redsun(op): 11:46pm On Jul 13, 2007
You have to be a tested business man to have that kind of assert, not an academician, they don't go together,or let's assume he inherited it from his family but it has to be creadible. And something about the federal goverment giving him properties, what for, does the people owe him?

@rowlandwhy, what are you taking about? Our way of dressing is our identity,we can't be copy cats in every thing.White man wears suits because they are cold,Africa is hot,you gotto  wear white linen, silk, brocade, name it.Yaradua looks more presentable than obasanjo, that guy looks like a neanderthal.

Yaradua was a lecturer and later a politician.Where on earth did he get N850 million naira that he declared as his assert?I think we should start probing him form there before it gets too late.
Politics › Re: Rivers Woos Militants With 1 Million Naira Each by redsun(m): 4:34pm On Jul 09, 2007
They still don't get it,it is not about money but concept,of what use is money if you don't know what it stands for.It is about empowerment, about precedence, about development, both mental and physical and most of all about taking control of their life and enviroment not just for niger delta but for the whole country,we have the resources to go round.I was watching a programme on nigeria television authority via BEN TV london today, about sanitation and flooding problems in amukoko lagos,if i were in their shoes,i will rather choose death than to live like that, not even rats live that way,all because of shortsightedness of what we call goverment.People should stand up demand what belongs to them,we are too afraid of the unknown, according legendary FELA,(i no wan die,my mama dey for house,i wan build house)Of what use is life,if you don't have fulfilment.

@obanikoro2,with what he did to those girls, death by hanging is too good for him, infact,he should be impaled and left to die slowly, just like roman emperors used to do to early christians.Don't get me wrong,i don't hate christian but i hate evil, weather a christian,a moslem and worst of all, corrupt politicians because they are the root cause of all the mess in africa,if they do things right, people won't need to go church or mosque and start depending on those bunch of nonentities for life direction.

A total break down of law and order in nigeria, there is no system, the goverment has failed and the people are becoming mad, just like iraq, afganistan and rest of the troubled world. What goes around, comes around.

What will happen if this motherfuckers start blowing themselves up in nigeria? We are such a scary and unorganise people, the whole country will collapse, there is a serious need for the country to remain secular.Religion should be an individual thing not a state issue.

It is true, what we suffer now in africa is mental slavery,we are yet to fully understand our capabilities as humans and tap into it and live of it.We have to redefine the meaning of life, see the need to take the bull by the  horn or be extinct,it takes the way we are going for species to be extinct.

Christianity Etc › Re: God Is Not A Christian. by redsun(op): 9:19am On Jul 08, 2007
Every religion seems to call upon god and yet none agrees with each other.I think religion should be one's consciousness, every day activities in relation to other as regards one's survival and reverences, not dogmas, like we have today, poeple living and practicing the detects of others and thereby loosing their own natural judgements.
