Well, let me just say this. This is my opinion though, another person may have his own.

Before you dive into programming, do your research and decide what aspect of Computer Science you want to go into. You could love gaming and want to make yours or you could love websites and web apps and decide you wanna explore that field.

Whatever you choose, do your research and know what languages you need to learn to achieve that goal. When you narrow that down, you go online again and ask what languages you need to learn to achieve your goal. You'd be bombarded with different opinions too but don't let that destabilize you. Like web development, some may say you need to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the frontend. Others may say you need HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React. Choose the language that won't go out of demand in the next couple of years because what's the use of learning a language when you can't make cash off it.

So all I'm trying to say is, don't be in a hurry to just pick up a language and learn because many people learn languages without knowing how to apply it. That becomes useless knowledge. So, sit down and ask yourself what field you like in Computer Science and learn the languages pertaining to that field and on the plus side, when learning it, you won't get tired, you'd always remind yourself of the end result and what you'll be able to accomplish with this knowledge.

Luckily, there are tutorials on Udemy that teach you all the languages associated with a particular field so you don't have to source for tutorials all over.

Good luck, programmers, go out there and make a difference.

Guys, please I need your advice and guidance..

I'm very good in html and Css but I'm having problem with javascript. I don't seem to get it even with loads of video tutorial from YouTube and udemy. Maybe, it's because this is a real programming language unlike html and Css that happens to be an ordinary markup language and styling sheet...

Please, is it possible to learn this stuff myself coupled with the fact that I'm still in school with some crazy assignments and test ready for me?

Or I should look for money and go learn it at an ICT centre?

Note: I'm a computer science student currently being taught C++ as one of our courses but my lecturer is only teaching us what to write to pass her test and exams.

Search for this book "Andy Harris' HTML and CSS for Dummies ", though the name says HTML and CSS, there is JavaScript, Php, MySQL in it. Infact, bro, the book is great. Try it, hope it helps.

Note: I'm also a CSC student that is fed up with the way they teach CSC in my school.

I still don't understand why some people can't really see things for what they are. Buhari came in 2015, in his first term that he was supposed to impress the nation, he ran the economy to the ground and some people are considering him as a good candidate now that he has nothing to prove to y'all anymore. A president's first term should be used to impress the nation so that he would have great chances of coming back in but he didnt, then some think he would give a f**k about the nation this time around. 4. Religious bigots or those that have been fed by religious bigots: these ones have been deceived that because buhari is a Muslim therefore he will islamize Nigeria. They forget that as a dictator buhari had all the powers to islamize Nigeria but never did. Funny enough the opposition atiku is also a Muslim, but these days we don't hear anything on islamization



5. Tribal bigots: these ones are comprised by persons from a particular section of the country who feel it is their birthright to hate buhari. But ones buhari wins they are the first to cry for marginalization. They will never vote buhari because he is a northerner but always want equal appointment. In other to avoid these people, the opposition skillfully took one of their own as read


6. The lazy and ignorant: these ones are to lazy to read anything or crosscheck any facts. Instead they rely on roadside gossip and fake news spread by touts
