It is now an old news that the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi KANU has been rearrested and extradited back to Nigeria and is currently in DSS detention and court have even started the continuous proceedings on him after he jumped bail and fled to Is real and UK according to him for fear of being killed by the Nigerian government. His rearrest have been triailed by different version of stories making rounds especially on the social media. Some have said he was picked up in Israel, some say UK, some say Kenya while some say in a yet to be confirmed location. The truth is whether arrested in UK or Israel or even Libya the point is he has been rearrested again by the Nigerian government. Secondly, one is left to wonder why the exact location of his arrest is a topic of debate. Let me say this categorically, for some reasons I am not a fan of Nnamdi KANU. I do not support his violence nature, emotional immaturity, uncivil language in most cases, said that I support the Biafran struggle 100%. I owe no one an apology neither does anyone owe me. Upon his arrest, different interest groups has praised their god to high heavens jubilating at his rearrest. Groups like Miyetti Allah have adviced Nigerian government not to waste some much time in court with Kanu, but should immediatley prosecute him because he is a known terrorist and even more terrorist that Boko Haram, Bandits and Fulani herdsmen who the Nigerian government has treated with kids glove even when their commanders are all within the sures of Nigeria yet remain untouchable by the hypocritical Nigerian government. To make matter worse, the Ohanaze Ndigbo in their usual show of shame and irresponsibility have claimed that the rearrest of Nnamdi KANU is an aversion of another civil war against the South East. And I say to them Really? Take it or leave it, the Igbos are the most irresponsible set of people in the black continent. They never stand up for the truth, they don't speak when it matters most neither do they defend their own. How can the extradition of Nnamdi Kanu be something the Ohaneze Ndigbo should be proud about and even went ahead to that the Nigerian government for the arrest? My point is, when will the Igbos unite? When will they truly forge alliance against their common enemy? When will they learn to speak with one voice and to stand up in defence of their own when it matters most? When will this self acclaimed developers have sense? Is a Pantami was fingered for sympathizing with terrorist, not a single Northerner rose against him. Sheikh Gumi has been at the vanguard of advocating protection and even negotiation for bandits who have killed, maimed and sacked many and not a single Norther have risen to speak against him. The point is all the atrocities of the northern foot soldiers have been encouraged, viewed as pdonable offences but only Nnamdi KANU. Let also ask the Nigerian government, if it was this easy to arrest Nnamdi KANU who is a British citizen and who recides in far away UK, how come you were not able to arrest Shekau, Herdsmen leaders and sponsorers as well as those aiding the bandits? Can you see how the Nigerian government have continued to show bias, favoritism, sectional, promoting Northern agenda against the rest of Nigerians? Isn't it obvious that all is truly not well and that the Southerners really need to wake yo the height of injustice, conquer and subjugation going on against the South? Let me also remind those who are laughing at the rearrest of Nnamdi KANU, especially those from the South. Please take a chill pill. Do well not to laugh again rather open your eyes, be ready for what is yet to come because Nnamdi KANU has now been rearested. If you do not know, this mans presence has checkmated the Fulani agenda and now that he is in detention, watch the trend and I pray it meets you well. Finally, Ndigbo, no need asking you to unite against our common enemy because you will never and you have never. It is about self, investment and pride, but the danger beneath none is seeing it. Since you take pleasure in the rearrest of your son who has been calling for self freedom, let's watch and see your fate in the coming days. |
No doubt, twitter ban in Nigeria has greatly affected me and am sure not only me. Before now, I had series of PhD scholars all over the world whom I followed for the purpose of reading educational stuff from with a view to gaining additional knowledge about what it takes to pursue PhD and possible schools as well as other related information about PhD. But since after the self styled emperor and tyrant in Aso Rock, the very toxic and intolerant president ever witnessed in Nigeria took offence and banned twitter in Nigeria, all my PhD aspiration and follow up has greatly been affected. Although I don't intend to give up any important part of my life because of Buhari action against twitter. But what I feel at the present goes a long way to point to what many who also rely on Twitter for so many things are feeling as well. Business have suffered huge set back, communications brokendown and all. This singular action also goes along way to show the kind of monsters we cue in the sun voting for and the need to rexamine our voting decisions in the subsequent years. It is most disheartning that why nations are progessing while leveraging on the importance of social media Nigeria is rather sliding back to dark ages without hope in sight. |
Nigerians don't still understand the game. How many of you noticed they have started feeding us with news of Buhari medical trip? Of course his tenure is about to end. There is more to it all, but time will tell. Better left unsaid. |
No, you will sure be quoted; your ranting can't just go unpurnished. You call a whole race, the almighty Igbo, the most superior and your only savior from fulani invasion primitive people? Your brain needs omo and jik washing, then afterwards dried in the sun and ironed with the hottest iron ever. Foolish idiotic goat. Emu4life: |
Your mothers labour on the day of your birth was a complete waste and punishment to that woman. If she had known, aborting you would have saved her all the miserable stress. Continue ranting and dont get serious with your miserable lifeless soul. Shame on you! OfoIgbo: |
Madness of the highest order. Not too worry, the rest will be history soon. By the time bandits and herdsmen finishes with your sorry ass, you will have no other option than to rescint on IPOB. This is a commendable project. I have always anticipated and prayed for this if only the Yoruba will not eventually betray this struggle together. Said that, the South are becoming wiser by the day, North go hear whin. Their tactics of divide and rule is over and expired. Shame! Igbo-Yoruba bashing and hatred should already stop especially on Nairaland. Lots of the guyz here really need to have sense and understand that South is one people forget the slight difference is language and culture we are the same and together we are stronger. Usman danfodio must be wailing heavily now seeing that his agenda against the south is already being twated. All hail Southern Nigeria All hail Biafra-Oduduwa JF God bless me. |
My name is Chris B.Sc. Mass Communication M.Sc Public Relations and advertising (in view) PhD Journalism. Said that, would like to know how many years is PhD and the total sum of school fees in Nigeria and abroad? Thank you. |
Op thank you for this piece of information. Honestly I have learnt from it. But I have a question; With regards to social media handle, do you advice that one deny operating social media to avoid submitting them? |
You are very wrong. This is not banana republic. Tell your Buhari to be tolerant, respect the rights of over 200million Nigerians. Being a worthless president does not in anyway make him bigger than you so, twitter deleting his useless tweet is not a reason to again show his emotional weakness by banning Nigerians from accessing twitter. There is no intelligent rational to that form of madness. Itsnog a case of see finish. OnionBandit: |
I must commend Easterners for taking this decision. I have said it severally, that the only reason North wants Nigeria together is because of oil. Flip the coin, it the oil in the South was to be in the North, these muderers monsters call North would have long seperated leaving other regions to suffer. Just imagine the farm produce they bring to South to sell, at any slightest provocation they treathen to withdraw supply now imagine if they own oil. These creatures are horiible, despicable and cruel. If anyone is still in support of the unholy marriage with these people such a person much be a fool. |
Government of the failed, by the failed and for the failed. I wonder how this Lier Mohammed children walk around in the society with people knowing they are the children of this old shameless he-goat of a minister. Sopathetic! |
This author is obsessed, hungry and ill. |
The South needs to form a very serious alliance against the monster North. Unfortunately the Yorubas are busy with broad day romance with North all in the name of spiting the Igbos. Truth is Igbos can stand the North in war, but I don't see the Yorubas being able to do that for a number of reasons. Whatever, let's see how it plays out. |
Forget, there is something great about the Igbo people which even the world can attest to. It is only in Nigeria that the Yorubas and their Northern counterpart think otherwise especially the Yorubas. Argue with your key board the Igbos are by far above the board in Africa. The hate changes nothing. Igbos are just too much, let's for once just give it to them. |
Always holding fruitless emergency meetings. No shame whatsoever. |
Do you need a property anywhere in Nigeria? I mean we have Bungalows, Storey Buildings, Empty lands etc all for sale. We are also open to managing your property and helping you sell off quickly. Whichever one! |
Honestly I am saddened by the actions of body of Christ in Nigeria. Why do they want to silence this man from talking? Even though he has mistalked in some cases, but it is better he is talking rubbish than not saying anything at all. The people of other religion will never no matter the misyarning resort to silencing one of their own. The church really needs to wake up from slumber before we are all consumed. |
*BEFORE WE ZOOM EVERYTHING AWAY*? Sometimes early 2020, the world was hit by the outbreak of a global pandemic called Covid-19. Whatever that means it is best known to those who brought the strange name into human space. In response to the pandemic, nations were shut down, offices were closed, school children were sent home, movement were restricted, nations suffered weeks of total lockdown of course churches were not speared in that new normal. Quickly the church resorted to online fellowship. Thank God for that, thank God for zoom then. Further, to curb the spread of this deadly virus, nose mask, social distancing, hand sanitizer, regular washing of hands and all kinds of protocol were introduced. People became more careful by way of association. Unfortunately, many people died across the globe as a result of complications from the surge of Covid19. But by the end of same year 2020, the pandemic had greatly gone down in fact to the barest minimum and gradually all the shut down and lockdown and lockout began to ease of. Today, offices are back to work, businesses have picked again, governance inclusive etcetera. But to my greatest surprise, the CHURCH that proclaims faith, power, anointing and a better life in heaven after earth have gone almost completely to sleep. Even when other critical components of human lives have woken up from their sleep, the church have refused to. It is unacceptable that till this moment we haven't resumed fully in our worship centers. We are still engaging zoom in almost every of our meetings neglecting the impact of physical gathering and I ask, has the church become a zoom church? What are we still doing on zoom? Haven't we zoomed enough? I know many will have dissenting views to this. Of course, we should not tempt God, we should be wise as serpent, we should apply wisdom, o yes we should stay safe and obey government protocols, we should this, we should that bla bla bla. It is the same we should...." that has brought the church to its knees as a powerless church. Let me say it clearly, the church of today is not only an irresponsible church but a very weak one. Better put the church of today seems to take advantage of every opportunity to lazy around. We take advantage of every thing to lay low claiming all what not to justify our spiritual failures and irresponsibility. It is written "woe to them that are at ease in Zion" Why are we this fearful? Why afraid to die? Why desert our worship centers for this long even when Covid-19 is no longer all time high? Who do us this thing? Does our so called religious leaders need a soothsayer to tell them that Covid-19 has drastically gone down hence the need to return to full physical service before we have no more members in our churches? Hey! Our church halls are going empty Christians please wake up. More, do they also need me to tell remind them that the church hall is almost running empty, I mean empty and very soon we will have no one to call member. Maybe I should remind them also, that our years of fragile spiritual lives that was never hot enough to kill flies has gone completely comatose as a result of continuous empty and none-spiritual zoom meetings. Suddenly effective evangelism has ended, vigils no longer holds, crusade is not even in our thought anymore, no solid spiritual gathering anywhere to keep brethren burning for the kingdom. Its like everything has been zoomed away. How can the body of Christ in this last days suddenly resort to mere zoom meetings to prepare disciples for the kingdom and for what is to come? Do we really understand the urgency and the seriousness of the work we have been called into and what it requires or we are just goofing around? An all important meeting like Pastors meeting is now held on zoom, workers meeting on zoom etc, and we don't feel awkward about them. Its sickening, its a shame and God can never be proud of this kind of thing. It is pure laziness, lack of fire and power, in fact its a clear indication of a sleeping church. It doesn't matter the argument anyone may throw up. Many have resumed back to their offices where they earn salaries but are yet to resume church and will go to any length to justify that error. Look at our nation, she is bleeding heavily, everything is going bad by the day. Where is the church in the scheme of things? How can anyone explain that when the church was needed most that is when it went to sleep and to snore on zoom? How on earth does spiritual leaders find zoom meetings comfortable in the first instance? How effective and impactful can zoom meeting be or we are not concerned about the spiritual wellbeing of our people? Other religions who understand the urgency involved in religious work are all out and fully back to station. They are gaining more grounds by the day, conquering and subjugating believers and forcing them to denounce Christ and accept their religion and many are doing so. The Nigerian church most especially does not understand they are gradually sliding the way of the Turkey church. Let me end this contribution by calling on church leaders to rise to their responsibilities with immediate effect. They must end this spiritual slumber being spread across in the name of zoom meetings. We must return to full house physical meetings in our churches. Let me say again, we need to put an end to this zoom madness because it is not helping us. As a believer if at this point you don't see anything wrong with this zoom meeting then something is definitely not right. My point is we are running spiritually dry by the day brethren we should not be deceived. Zoom is taking away the remnant left with us before now. Zoom meeting is not helping our spiritual lives. It is not working anymore, its has served its purpose, it has outlived its usefulness therefore no longer qualified as a vehicle to drive spiritual empowerment. Who knows, maybe still relevant to offices and governments but not the church except for very lighter church meetings. The church thrives on physical gathering and corporate anointing and we must not sacrifice that on the altar of convenience, excuses and laziness. Zoom to me has become a tool to slow and weaken the church as well as our prayer lives, sadly its achieving this aim without believers knowing it. Our leaders are not seeing it rather very comfortable with the trend after all they can't come and die. No be dem kill Jesus. Finally, I call on all Christian denominations in Nigeria to as a matter of urgency call back their sheep to the church for full house physical meetings. At best we can have multiple services just to maintain the social distancing protocol. Enough of zoom meetings before we zoom everything away. |
Thanks. Was wrongly posted. Beancounter93: |
Better for him and his houseld. Bunch of saboteurs. |
Better, his being there in the first place was of no effect. |
Do you warn a deaf man? Buhari is deaf and dumb. |
