We shall see

In fact, in less thanone day after your almighty protest, we will start having at least 24 hours electricity per day, fuel pump price will become 65NGN, at least all our refineries will automatically become functional, 1USD will become 1NGN, minimum wage will become 100,000NGN, international oil price will become 150USD per barrel, but most importantly, President Buhari will honorably resign and Tuface Idibia will become our new president!!!

Is that not what the almighty protest is all about?
You forgot one free meal per day

Besides the tuface part you just quoted APCs campaign promises.

Where are we now?

60% of those protesting are doing cos there was a protest against Jo's govt barely 2 years into his tenure. Most people know the diff between $108pb and $50pb.
At about $58 extra per barrel of oil, GEJ govt could have build a dangote-sized refinery and ended our fuel struggle for the next 15 years.
At about the kind of education you've had, you could have had a bit more sense and an IQ more than half your shoe size.

The militants are my brothers and yes I do cheer to high heavens each & every single time they remind him it is we God blessed with the resources after our lands are plundered they use our money to rebuild regions that have nothing to offer in any form ...give me another reason why I should not burst a vein on their behalf

Don't mind all these myopic wasted youths talking about protesting as if the said protest will change anything.

If people can't understand that change is a gradual process, then I can't help it but allow them to continue wallowing in their frustrations.

For years, we had no functional refineries. We had a very poor power situation. Our educational system has been dying. Corruption has become part of our culture. We have become a consuming and dollar dependent economy.

All these factors have in one way or the other contributed in bringing us to our present abysmal situation.

And for any rightful thinking person to expect all these problems to disappear in a day, then the person is in a serious dream.

Unfortunately, so many wasted youths we have in abundance in this country who cannot see beyond their nose already think that protesting with that two-faced music star is going to solve their problems.

I wish all of them good luck.
That's the excuse for incompetence. Change is a gradual process. That clown wasted 6 months out of 48 before setting up his cabinet.

No plan no vision just the blame game taken to a while new level

Today we're almost half way through if you could make one thing going on right in this country today...just one.

Bearing in mind everyone knows the last year of every tenure is targeted at election brouhaha leaving roughly 36months to make any sense.

At this stage of our lives if we cannot see that we are being hoodwinked may we not find ourselves ion the wrong side when posterity judges.

Change is a gradual process yes if the man is competent
Pls stop deluding yourself with half truths.

Buhari simply cannot give what he does not have. Person that just had an email account in 2015 when I'm sure even you have same marking more than 10th year anniversary.

Visit http://opinions.ng a lot of my thoughts are posted there. We also did a how to get Nigeria out of recession series with the posts shared with top government personalities including the president on Twitter. You can check http://twitter.com/opinionsng timeline to confirm.

It is not until we are disruptive, dramatic or attention-seeking before we can influence positive change.
Despite all this

- are we still in a recession?

- does this mean your idea did not work or what?

- sincerely withing yourself do you see them going by your ideas let's be truthful to ourselves? I haven't read it and I admire your passion but do you think they do?

Have you seen your VP at davos 2017? he was still looking for how to blame previous administrations meanwhile he's supposed to be the smarter of the 2 of them. You should have seen how the lady interviewing fashied his side when it was obvious he had nothing to offer. Maybe he was thinking it was Maupe Ogun that was interviewing him or something, Bomboclat.

- why did I just buy baygon at 1450naira and still hear them mention 21k for a bag of rice at oyingbo market.

That Nigeria has competent people to get us out of this nonsense has never been the issue...the fact that you're expecting to squeeze honey out of a stone is my concern.

APC had and has no plan for this country. All they wanted was to remove GEJ and with absolutely no idea of how to handle things. The truth has been made manifest.

I'm not willing to continue my life be determined by a brood of incompetents if that's OK for you that's fine. As for me and my house we will stand with 2baba.

The Grand delusion is believing a protest will get us out of Recession. It is going to take more than a protest. After the protest, what is next. Duh! Nothing. There is no plan, strategy or agenda to move this nation forward. It is the sum total of our collective efforts that will move us out of this recession. Not a protest.
You keep mentioning collective effort

Oga,

No need to preach, nor educate us, for your information(if u no 4get) we can differentiate between left and right, we know what we stand for,

Sir, to be sincere with you, your write up is political and bias (that's a challenge we need to fight that is really affect us/our community), for that reason I advise you keep this to yourself only, Please can you answer this few questions;

1) Where were you in January 2012 ?

2) What did you write about the protest then ?

3) What is your definition of ''PROTEST'' ?

4) What will you gain if the protest hold or not ?

5) Why that protest then (2012 protest) ?

Answer this few questions, and I believe #commonsense will definitely come back to you,

Please be reminded that the major reason for the 2012 protest was Majorly because of HIKE IN FUEL PUMP PRICE, we can only be the change we want by telling/letting our government know that they have failed the common man on the street.

Bro, please can you state the difference between this Administration and the then Administration (Politics aside). If you care to know damages has really be done to this country especially by this government talk of Economy, FOREX, AVIATION, PUMP PRICE (PMS,AGO,DPK, Aviation fuel, GAS) even Food that a common man needs is unaffordable.

A piece of advise: Please mind what you will say, write or react on especially during this trying time in our country.

Nice post. Unfortunately, many will not look into the message. About from my disappointment in our so called stars during the rots we encountered, I do not buy the motive. I am no more interested in who feels the current government is failing. I am interested in solution providers. This is what I expect Tuface to look for. Instead of marching youths out to slaughter.

There are channels to get our voice heard. There are channels to show our potential. Instead we want to carry placards, screaming enough is enough. Is that honestly a solution to our problems?

It is time for the youths to wake up and start proposing solutions to move the nation forward.

A wise man once said, he who washes his hands well, eats with Kings.
If you can please show us one person this administration has ever listened to.

That's one

Two, you yourself which channels have you used to profer solutions in any form ? Or the current situation of the country does not affect you?

Once you people finish reading motivational speaker book finish you come here and start thinking you're better than everyone else

Show me one practical solution you've given the govt.

I remember in 2010 when he couldn't fund his campaign, there was this man in Kaduna who gave him four SUV to drive around the country. Imagine a former head of State crisscrossing the country in SUV when GEJ and other were cruising in jets.

The curse upon your progenitor is still rather potent. Your joblessness allows you to peruse people's profile like a true busybody.
Keep on.

As for GO who is of the same area as i am, God has a mysterious way of doing things.
What happened to him may be Gods' way of puting him to shame for bringing His good name into disrepute.
In 1999, he practically campaigned for OBJ by saying he was the messiah conscious of his own clout. Was he proved right ? He used Gods' name to deceive people because the tendency was for people to take it as a vision or such like.
Then, his escapades with GEJ during the campaigns was unspiritual but political. The result ?
What has a man of God got to do with a private jet ? So if God used a single man to humble him, it should come as no surprise.
In the Bible, it was Gods' character to use idolatorous nations to punish His people whenever they erred.

As for Osinbajo, though i personally have no issues against him politically but he disappointed me as a pastor.
When he faced the option of using between his call as a pastor and his position as VP, he chose the latter.
Now what man of God who is truely and divinely called and who understands what a call means, would drop the kingdom of heaven for the kingdom of the world which is the kingdom of satan ?
Wasn't that the exact choice satan placed before the Lord Jesus in Matt. 4 vs 8 - 10 ?
Unless ofcourse pastoralship in his church is not of divine call but of choice and man's wish.
But am persuaded to believe that call to serve God is nothing else but divine and those called as such are not of this world hence should always look heaven-ward.
Oga the issue we were trying to express was Oshibajos puppet figure.

Why you're writing all this off points after of course expressing your upbringing or apparent lack of by thinking it best to insult yourself leaves me amused to say the least.

I will not trade words or anything for that matter with someone just proved to be beside himself.
