waternogatenemy:This is not personal, asking me how is it my business and what is my problem sounds as if I have a problem with you. I don't. Am an Igbo born and breed from Abia state. That am trying to air my opinion does not warrant a personal attack on me. |
waternogatenemy:Am not really against the existence of radio Biafra. Am actually against some of their programmes which sort to incite |
PointB:At a point,it will get to that but as a country called Nigeria, tolerating such means the FG is also sympathetic to the cause. Allowing a radio station to spew inciting words that can cause chaos in the polity. |
I have noticed that a great number of people in the south east listens to a particular radio frequency which i found out to be radio Biafra. Listening to radio Biafra is not the problem, the problem is the words spoken by the broadcasters. The broadcasters have been using inciting words to bring about a division in Nigeria. I can remember a particular broadcast which I was able to listen to which preached about the necessity of a bycot of the just concluded national elections, telling their listeners that going out to vote means acceptance of one Nigeria and i think this played a secondary role to the low turn out of the south easterners on that day. What marvels me in all this is the silence of FG. I don't want to believe that the FG doesn't know about this radio Biafra because the allocation of radio frequencies must go through so red tapes. Am beginning to think,is the FG ignoring them on purpose? Is the FG trying to use this radio station to create problems when their time expires? Is this part of a larger plan for the eventual division of this country? I don't know, but what i know is that such a radio station should not be allowed to exist because of the inciting programmes they run at the station. |

Sexual desire is not a slave chain. It was never meant to be a yoke around a person's neck. Society treats sex like it's a brand new discovery. They've made sex such a front page story, that people today believe they cannot function in life without releasing an orgasm! At the end of the day sex is nothing more than PART of God's command to be fruitful and multiply. But it was never meant to be the total package. In other words: God was commanding Adam and Eve to be productive. And that productivity transcends sex alone. When people lack ambition and strong challenging goals, their desire to have sex will overwhelm them. They'll misuse that God-given reproductive energy on cheap thrills and pleasure, when it could be better utilized in building a prosperous business, getting a degree in college, winning a political race, writing a great book, or fixing houses, etc. Putting it a different way: the desire to have sex is nothing more than the desire to be productive. Why limit that to just bedroom gymnastics? Be productive in every area of your life: that way sex alone won't be such an overwhelming urge. The best way to control your sexual drive and urges is to have something else going on in your life that's more important to you than sex. Athletes do this when training for the Olympics: they forgo having any sexual contact during training. And training might last for several years! Boxers and MMA fighters also abstain from sex when training for an upcoming fight. What goal are you working on in your life that's so big, so enticing and so humongous that you'll gladly forgo having sex for as long as it takes for you to reach that goal? If you don't have an answer, get busy finding one! If you're a Christian you have an extra advantage. You can call on the power of God's Holy Spirit and find extra leverage to control your flesh with. Occasional fasting also helps tremendously. Abstaining from something as necessary as food shows your body that YOU are in control of it: not the other way around. You have to show your body who's the boss. Those who practice fasting rarely have issues with controlling their sexual urges. Fasting is a lost art in the church world today, but needs to be revived again. Lastly, it's never a bad idea to have a trustworthy accountability partner: preferably one of the same sex and seeking similar goals (unless you're struggling with homosexual issues). You get into murky waters by having a sexual accountability partner of the opposite sex though. That's too much sexual tension in one room. I'm just offering some practical advice on the topic, because I know it's a struggle that many people go through. But you can overcome that struggle and flip it to your advantage. Feel free to add your own helpful insight or experience on this topic. God bless. |

ucheheart:That statement alone is capable of denying the incumbent a lot of votes if ur country was progressive. |
[quote author=MRLINGTON post=31421005]Loooool nd then we believed them nd till dis day..i still find it difficult to pump water, iron clothes nd even read @night .... ucheheart:The current Minister of power? If that's true, this govt is not worth a second tenure. |
This a promise made to us as far back as 1986,am wondering when that promise will be delivered.

magine this conversation... Chichi: Do you smoke? Akpos: Yes.... Chichi: How many packs a day? Akpos: 3 packs. Chichi: How much per pack? Akpos: N200. Chichi: And how long have you been smoking? Akpos: For 15 years. Chichi: So, one pack costs N200, and you have 3 packs a day, which puts your spending each month at N18,000. In one year, it would be N216,000 correct? Akpos: Correct. Chichi: If in one year you spend N216,000 not accounting for inflation, the past 15 years puts your spending at over N3,000,000 correct? Akpos: Correct. Chichi: Do you know that if you hadn't smoked, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting for compound interest for the past 15 years, you could have now easily bought a brand new Range Rover HSE Sport? Akpos: Do you smoke? Chichi: No. Akpos: So where's your Range Rover HSE Sport then? |
A group of Nigerian husbands gathered at a conference on, "How to live in a loving relationship with your wife". The men were asked, "How many of you love your wife ?" All the men raised their hands. Then they were asked, "When was the last time you told your wife you loved her ?" Some men answered today, some yesterday, majority didn’t remember. The men were then told to take their cell phones and send the following text to their respective wife: "I love you, sweetheart". Then, the men were asked to exchange phones, so each of them can read the other wife's response to the love message.. Here are some of the replies: 1. Have you impregnated someone again. 2. That was then, not now. 3. You wan borrow money abi? 4. What did you do again? I won’t forgive you this time! 5. Meaning? 6. Is that a new song? 7. Am I dreaming! 8. If you don’t tell me who this message is actually for, you will die today! 9. You this man! I asked you to stop drinking! 10. Abeg na who be this? Lol!!! |
