You people should stop using Aba to taunt the Igbos. We know Aba is a dirty city just like the rest of Nigerian cities but it shouldn't warrant you bigots to bring a picture of where I don't know and tag it Aba.

There's nothing in that picture that suggests that that place is Aba if not for flooding and dirtiness which synonymous with almost every part of Nigeria.

Please,if you stay in aba, let me give you the direction to shoe plaza (bakassi). It has like 3 routes which i will give you here.
1) board a keke or bus to osisioma,cross the road to the other side,enter a keke that is going to flyover and tell the keke driver your stopping by bakassi.he will stop you in front of century valley hotel.cross the road and walk into shoe plaza(bakassi).
2) board a bus or keke that is going to faulks road/ariaria. Stop by samek,board another keke and tell him to stop you at shoe plaza(bakassi). If he stops you, you walk into bakassi.
3) board a keke or bus to mcc junction by China town building abayi. Cross the road and enter another keke which will stop you at mcc by tonimas road. You cross the road again and board another keke to bakassi.
I don't know which part of Aba u stay,so out of the 3 routes,you can choose the one u find easier and go and see for yourself.
It is called shoe plaza because that's what its supposed to be but that the government has left it in neglect.
I don't think i have much more to say than what I have said.

The popular shoe plaza in aba popularly know as bakassi is a very big industrial market which provides shoes,sandals etc for people in cheap and affordable prices. Their shoes gets transported to as far as Ghana,Togo,Gabon etc
Its a pity that a market that generates so much in revenue to the State is left to wallow in ruins by the government. A look at the state of its road will tell you more.

Since the start of this boko haram menace in our country,i have always listened and read the news expecting to see or hear an imam who is strongly against boko haram not just by saying it in the press,but by preaching to his flocks and active sensitization of the Muslim community.I have always been disappointed until yesterday when I read about the jos bombing in BBC news.

I believe if more imams can be this active in sensitization,the issue of radicalization and extremism will be very little.

The news we have been hearing is that the U.S has been invited to help us sort out our security problems as regard to insurgency. Well the news has been met with happiness and relief in some quarters,while some have been skeptical about it and i fall under the second category.
The U.S may be working as a world police today,but it is important to check if their role as the world police has been a success especially as regards to countries facing security problems.

At the moment,they are training rebels who they claimed to have vetted to take over the country. Today,Syria is fighting terrorism,sectarian violence while U.S in this case,buys it major allies Israel, Saudi Arabia and the rest a breathing space.
Afghanistan, the U.S trained and outfitted the likes of Bin Laden to help fight off the Russians from Afghanistan by so doing, armed the talibans who are today,terrorizing both Afghanistan and Pakistan.
There are so many more examples of such interest by the U.S which has resulted to the destruction of the countries in question.
President Buhari and his policy makers should seriously scrutinize this said offer before the relative peace experienced in a greater part of the country evaporates.

People keep saying how bad portharcourt road in aba is, how buses that are going to portharcourt goes through Osisioma in order to avoid the death traps in portharcourt road. I keep telling myself that that was an exaggeration until i went there myself.
I had to use three drops which entails stopping at the end of a patch of good road,crossing a sea of mud water on foot and boarding another keke until i got to flyover.
I don't know what the people of Aba did to the immediate past governor,but if this is punishment,he should have just dropped on bomb on these people.
I ask the present governor to please look into this road asap.

Last time i posted something about Biafra, i expected it to make front page but it didn't either due to disregard to Biafra's cause or any other rule I don't know of. Despite that,the article got the recognition it was due.
Radio Biafra have been gaining momentum lately,more and more people are tuning to its frequency,listening to the speakers whip up sentiments among Igbos and non Igbos who are sympathetic to the cause and it gets me wondering is this part of a larger plan?
A lot of us who are conversant with history will know that for the quest for independence or break up to be attained,there must be a good and active propaganda machine in place. I believe Radio Biafra is here to provide that. Lately,the freedom fighters of Niger Delta have been holding serials of meetings with that of south east. There has been increase in the cries of marginalization by them and also an increase in interests of the people of south east on how power is shared in the country.
All these points to the effectiveness of Radio Biafra at its propaganda. They are successfully whipping up sentiments for which in no distant time,the whole of Nigeria will be ready to listen.
A lot of people will dismiss Biafra as a fantasy of few disgruntled igbos but with time,it may became a reality to all Igbos and when it does,there will be no stopping the actualization of Biafra but until then,let's sit back and enjoy one Nigeria while it lasts.

From the story what it means is that if you are given a gift or riches and you do not sow it (invest it to multiply it) then it shall be taken from you and given to the person who had multiply (enriched) his own.
Literally, if you have something and you cannot use it to make money and remain poor, even that small one you have will be taken from you and given to those who are using their gift to make money.
It is a spiritual principle to use for your prosperity and not something to be afraid of. Look around you, someone is using their talent to get money from you, instead of you to be on the defensive, trying not to make people use you, be on the offensive, try developing what you have to make money out of others. That is the circle that keeps the world round, join it instead of being a spectator

I was walking down the street today and I encountered group of guys chatting and arguing,as I got close enough,i overheard their topic of argument.
Some of the were arguing that in the bible,there exists a quotation which state that "Riches will be collected from those that doesn't have and given to those that has already" I strained my ears to hear if the verse of the bible will be mentioned but none was mentioned even as those who were arguing against the existence of such quotation was asking them to name the verse they didn't.
Please I want to know if such verse really exists,the verse and what it means cos for me,i understood it to mean taking from the poor to give to the rich and i don't think the bible will actually say that.
