FashionIs Going Out With Hair Rollers The Trending Thing? by reganvida(op): 7:09pm On Dec 22, 2014
Within the 5hrs i spent going about my business today,i saw not less than five ladies rocking hair rollers with beautiful matching outfits to go with it.
I use to think hair rollers have just one colour but today,I found out that there are different types of hair rollers and colours as well.
What am trying to know here is, has the rocking of multi coloured hair rollers become a kind of fashion or is just a coincidence that I happened to see these ladies today?

PoliticsRe: Open Letter To President GEJ: Pls Call Abia Governor, Orji To Order by reganvida: 2:59pm On Dec 10, 2014
emindu:
The Gov has done pretty well in the area of security, Energy distribution, primary and tertiary healthcare, development of human capital through various youth empowerment Programmes, infrastructural development...New essential structures like the workers secretariat, International Conference centre, remodeling of Abia hotels to boost the hospitality and tourism industry, the new high court buildings Umuahia and Aba...the more decent court houses the more judges the more jobs, the new Abia State library headquarters to boost learning and research, the Abia State Specialist and Diagnostic Hospital commended as the best in the entire south east and south south region, the new eye and dialysis centre in Umuahia, the new industrial market Umuahia and Umuahia Modern market to boost commerce and industry also to decongest the Umuahia city centre, the new motor Spare Parts and Mechanic Village at Ohiya Umuahia to create sanity and enhance environmental decency in Umuahia city centre, the new govt house Govt house currently situated in a private and rented property. A functioning skill acquisition centre training about 5000 youths currently. A new broadcasting House (BCA) building, a new JAAC, ASUBEB and Chieftancy affairs complex in Umuahia, A newly built ministry of Justice building in Umuahia, about 250 primary health care centres across the state, partnering with World bank to build Community Social Development program projects as demanded by communities in Abia State, A new House of Assembly Administrative and constituency complex within the HOA premises. A new ASEPA building, ASEPA is currently occupying a rented building, built &commissioned the Amaokwe housing Estate in Umuahia, Isieke, Amaudo and Aso small and medium income housing estates are currently ongoing in Umuahia, massive investment in the environmental sector...Opening up drains in Aba & Umuahia, provision of refuse dump equipment & Trucks etc. The govt has built numerous rural and urban roads in Isukwuato, Ohafia, Bende Umunneochi, Umuahia, Ikwu ano, Isi ala Ngwa etc including the 17 major Aba city roads recently embarked upon...Brass, Milverton, Ngwa Road, Faulks Road, Geometric, Ama Ogbonna, etc. All these are verifiable in addition to massive investment on security of lives and property. ABSG invested over 1.5 billion to evacuate power (electricity) from the Ohiya sub power station after the federal govt built but abandoned it. Power supply has improved in Umuahia and environs leading to massive boost in the small and medium scale enterprises sector. Umuahia, the capital city doesn't get dark at night as a result of the massive investment on street light project. Remember security globally requires huge investment and for Abia State to be known currently as a safe zone, massive investment is being invested to sustain the achievement made so far on security. All these and many more doesn't stop Abia State from having her challenges as a State but the good news is that those developmental challenges are being tackled with the funds available to the State without borrowing.
Am beginning to believe that people are myopic and ignorant voluntarily. Retaired army chief constructed the isuikwuato road not the state government. If some with human conscience can come out and say that ngwa road and milverton has been constructed, then that person can actually mass murder Abians without blinking. I can't say about other projects mentioned by this poster but these three I mentioned above are blatant lies. Ngwa rd is a slum as we speak and milverton is a death trap

Dr Okezie Ikpeazu is a doctorate degree holder, an experienced politician who knows Aba in and out, he is not a Shoe mender in Ariaria.

He is not a criminal and has no charge or scandal against him whatsoever.

Just stop the obsession with stooge this, stooge that.
Jeez! Someone actually said this about Okezie Ikpeazu? This goes a long way to show how far one can go to cover up evil. Nobody is against an Ngwa man ruling Abia state, I believe Alex Otti is an Ngwa man and you don't see people calling him bad names. What we are against is imposition, godfatherism. That is what kept Abia in this situation and that is what will still keep it suffering.Ikpeazu is a stooge,a puppet who will sell the state back to his benefactor for years before claiming being liberated that is if he last to that extent going by the news that Ochendo's son will become the speaker,I believe he will definitely be impeached and the Ochendo circle will begin again or do i say the Ikuku circle which is his son's nickname

Well we all saw how the PDP primaries went in Abia state,we can't say we were much surprised but what really surprised me was when the news came out that Dr.Uche Ogah accepted the result and congratulated the Victor.I knew there was something shady there and that USO cannot just accept defeat going by his amount of followers.
Well, the snapshot shared on my post is the facebook post of a reliable insider in our man's caucus as the name of the poster shows.
Lets hope our man has one or two cards left to play to make sure we make it to the elections for the good of Abia State.

Well, I pray they draw inspiration from their sister state(IMO) and get it right this time around. But, as a realist, i don't see that happening. My prayers are with them.
The future of our state is our hands. It's either we Abians remain dormant as we used to be in previous elections or we can borrow an attitude from Imo and be pro active.I think if we Abians need change,we have to do it ourselves. Protect our votes, use the social media to our advantage, come out and vote. Etc.

I think that's a good advice too buh if he decamps to maybe PPA,it wil mean having two formidable and people's person to vote for in Otti and Ogah meaning Ikpeazu will be definitely voted out anyway the masses go. Am sure Ikpeazu won't be getting any vote except his family's.

[quote author=asha80 post=28691572]make sure that the votes in any polling booth is counted and announced there and then if possible with the help of social media broadcast it before the result is taking to the collation center...if possible follow the result sheets to the collation center so that no hanky panky is done along the way...that is how imolites voted out ohakim despite being an incumbent..God will not come down from heaven to do itfor abians...i also doubt millitary would be involved the way they were in 2011 since ihejirika who is from abia is no longer chief of army staff[/quote

PDP primaries for Abia state governorship candidates will hold today.
We all know that Abia is a PDP state and that its likely that any one who emerges victorious will win the actual governorship election.
That not withstanding, this may be the time the people of Abia can show their resolve to take power back from the statue and thief we call Ochendo.
It is not a new news that Okezie Ikpeazu is the anointed candidate of Ochendo and rumor has it that they already have a pact on how to share our money for another 8yrs. My take is that if this man emerges as PDP candidate, then Abians should wait for the actual gubernatorial election and vote PDP out of this state.
We all have heard about Ogah,we all knows he hasn't been tainted with politics. He is like a fresh air to us. He is the only candidate for PDP who made it with his sweat without one government portfolio or the other. He has been at the top management of many organisations including his company Masters Energy.
He is technocrat and a man of the people. This is the man PDP should give this ticket and PDP will be returned to the government house. This man is the present and future of Abia.
I know,Ochendo will go to any length to install his man but if that man isnt Ogah, then PDP may have to kiss Abia goodbye.I repeat "may" that is if our votes are allowed to count and its protected.

Aba was planned by the British, not Mbakwe.

I agree with you on the quality of the constructions as they were substandard, however, the city blossomed, prospered and expanded in his first term.

The second term was used in fighting OBJ and the pursuit of his presidential ambition where most part of Abia Federal Allocations were withheld in Abuja in the name of debt servicing to pay off the debts borrowed mostly by Mbakwe
I believe you right in most of what you wrote. Buh the issue of servicing of debts incurred by mbakwe,i cant say because i have no knowledge of that but i know that Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu also incurred debts that also needed to be serviced.all these doesn't hide the fact that his administration is heaven compared to the hell Abia is in now.

Is Gov T. A. Orji a stooge to Orji Uzor Kalu who installed him as Governor from prison?

The answer is resounding No

Aba would been a first class commercial city and a beauty to behold had T. A. Orji played stooge to Kalu

Nobody knows what would have been. Maybe Abia would have been better or even worse but what we all know is that T.A.Orji has at the end, taken Abia so backwards that if the next governor turns out good will find it hard to steer the state right.

Maybe the first time was free because abians always trusted Orji Uzor Kalu but the second time<it was plain rigging because by then Abians wanted that criminal out. He completely rigged himself into office the second time.

I can possible say Abians freely voted T.A.Orji in to office the first time. He rode comfortably on the back of Orji Uzor Kalu who many Abians trusted due to his continuous face off the presidency then. The second time? I don't think he was voted in. He rigged himself in because by then,Abians had understood who he was an. Is.
Now,Abians need to reject same mistake again.T.A Orji and his cohorts have no place in abia any more.
