He could be a business man affiliated with or in charge of a big multinational company. There are different kinds of multinational companies based on services rendered. I am not dismissing the fact that op could be a driver in a top multinational company or "low ranking" multinational company. Can Dangote and most big men speak sophisticated English? My uncle has a poor understanding of English but is a millionaire that has never ran dry. So level of formal education isn't relevant in judging.

However, that guys jibe was unnecessary. By trying to imply that the op was a labourer at an indomie factory, he was trying to demean the op for his choice and paint him as undeserving. He wanted to imply that the op shouldn't celebrate as op isn't worth much to mean anything to the woman. That was completely unnecessary.

At second comment, do you know what a cage means, it is when one is trapped in something and can't come out no matter what, In marriages you can come out of it e.g divorce, the only thing in the western world is you have to pay child support if kids are involved and FYI that law doesn't apply to only females, there are instances where the husband wins having the kids and the wife get to pay for child support, there is very much equality there.

How it works is that the person earning more gets to pay but in 98% of the marriages, men are the breadwinners. A man who is the breadwinner cannot leave or he loses a lot. He is therefore trapped. Haven't you seen when a woman is caught cheating but during the divorce, she gets the house and the husband stays homeless? men have been arrested and jailed for not being able to pay child support and alimony even when it was clear that they don't have the means to.

Marriage in the western world is a cage for men. If a woman wants to divorce a man for no reason, she will be granted a divorce, 60% of the man's networth, his house, custody of the children and he will still have to pay alimony and child support. If he cannot pay all these, he is sent to jail. Tell me why marriage is not a cage for men?
