TrollKiller:The archetypal religious mind seeks patterns and tries, as much as possible, to attribute these to the spiritual. It also doesn't help matters that such mind thinks it isn't the master of it's destiny and there are higher powers that shapes it's destiny. |

Life experiences have taught me that you should never believe claims of any assault or domestic violence except when you have evidence. It's unbelievably easy for people's image to be verbal tarnished by those that have grievances, however petty, with them. 2 Likes |

Education / Re: Why Kiki Mordi Dropped Out Of UNN by Regiomontanus(m): 1:30pm On Oct 12, 2019 |
Let me investigate this case and see if you lack solid evidence like AntiBrutus/pocohantas. Let's go. fairfora:No evidence to support your claim. Beside, where do you stand? Is your source still a medical student or a doctor? If Kiki Mordi is lying, don't you think the Faculty of Medicine at UNN would have released a report showing her poor academic record as evidence? I find it ridiculous that someone would think not being in the top 20 of the pretty girl list would exempt a girl from sexual harassment. Beside, Kiki Mordi is not bad to look at and it wouldn't come as a surprise if she was sexually harassed. Given the side that your source is on, there is no reason for your source to hide her name (this makes your story look laughable). According to her, if truly she dropped out as a result of social harassment, what about herself as pretty as she was, whom a prof of surgery once threatened to deal with, but couldn't do anything eventually as she reported him to the dean, college of medicine? If herself who wasn't as outspoken as kiki in those days could take such a bold step, she wondered why kiki wouldn't want to do same, if truly she was harassed that way.Social or sexual harassment? Is that a typo? Well, I see no evidence for this. If indeed, she reported to the college of medicine, the lecturer should have been fired. No medical community condones such. You didn't mention that the erring lecturer was fired, your source couldn't have missed such information. What is withholding an anonymous source from revealing the lecturer's name given the fact that, thanks to the college, he can't do her anything? Beside, for such incident, many of the students would have heard about it so they can't really trace it to her. She could deny by saying someone else wrote this op on her behalf. Again, since she left the country, the dr also wondered why she didn't go for same course in a supposed much more decent country, as she didn't a problem with funding in the first place. She said she learnt she continued her social life whilst in the uk, instead of enrolling for the medical course she claimed she such loved. No evidence for this. Chimamanda Adichie was a medical student at Nsukka but when she went abroad with her family, she switched to creative writing. Shouldn't Kiki be allowed to change her career? Though I don't know the admission process abroad but is it that easy for a medical student to make an interuniversity transfer from a university here to one abroad? What she's doing presently is a good one though. She might not have been a good dr even if she eventually graduated. She could have been a refined journalist like we have, the world over, in people changing careers and professions after graduating. But kiki shouldn't have lied because we live in a world where there's no place for anyone to hide for too long.Well, with time things will be clear. 1 Like 1 Share |

Romance / Re: Why A Lot Of Black Women Are Still Single....... by Regiomontanus(m): 7:19am On Oct 12, 2019 |
1) Pride/arrogance thanks to them embracing feminism in full measure. 2) "I don't need a man" mentality. 3) Inability to submit, respect, and willingly play motherly roles. 4) The glorification of single motherhood and lack of fathers in the home. 5) The delusion that they are above, they've arrived, and the best thing to happen slice bread, because they have certificates. I attribute blame to feminism for telling them certificates are the holy grails; that once they get it, they don't need any man and ought not to submit to any man; etc. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Michellekabod2:I have never said to any lady, regardless of her ideas, that she has no right to say or express herself the way she wants. The same for Martinez39, ubunja, lukui, astroG and others. We simply argue and call people out. No one owes it to you to act as you wish as long as they are not violating your rights. |
