The police in america are definitely alot more brutal; its sad to hear but the reason soo many blacks are frisked and searched is because soo many of them are criminals, there is a higher proportion of blacks in uk prisons than any other race! There is more crime in predominantly black areas so there will obviously be more security. This will mask outright racism, but i think americans are alot more racist in general.

I quite agree wt the poster because i hv experienced such myself. Mtn claims the offer 100mb for 1k bt its nt even up to 50mb. Am using etisalat 100mb and its okay and stil beta than others. i was on nairaland for 20mins wt mtn and wen i checked my bal afterward i noticed that i hv consumed 19mb bt tried the same wt etisalat and it was 6mb. I did that wt my pc bt wen i tried the same wt my nokia n95 and operamini,etisalat was only 1mb for 2hrs complete browsing irrespective of sites visited bt mtn gulped me 7mbs wt bolt browser. In Jamaica skin bleaching is a problem because of slavery. People tend to forget it wasn't just A.A.s who were affected by the slave trade, it was also devastating in the Caribbean and due to race mixing our ancestors saw that the mulatto children recieved better treatment compared to the Ebony ones. Skin bleaching got its start in Jamaica in the early nineties but it was only those who were abroad at that time who would go back home lighter in complexion then in 1992 Buju Bantan release a song called "Mi luv mi browning" (I love my lightskinned woman) and the dark skinned Jamaican women went BANANAS! As a result some became obsessed with their blackness and angry with him and others left lingering and feeling self pity. He released a song called "Mi love mi blackning" (I love my black skinned women) to put their mind as ease and let them know he loves them too but the damage was already done.

When the skin bleaching creams were being brought back by Jamaicans from abroad they werent yet popular and those who jumped on the bandwagon to get their "rapper/ dj boyfriends" like the lightskinned and Asian Jamaican women were, would go to desperate measures such as MIXING CLOROX BLEACH WITH TOOTH PASTE and rubbing it on their skin. Eventually by the late nineties and early 2000s bleaching creme companies noticed the demand in Jamaica and now the supply is without end. It was so bad the gov.t had to place a national ban on it and like naughty children the very illegalizing of the product was enough to make more people want it and now smuggling it is nothing! Some women will spend their last dollar LITERALLY, rather than buy food to purchase bleaching creams because "it will attract their meal ticket (men)". BET's over rating of Beyonce, Rihanna, Mya, and Tyra Banks but downplaying of Kelly Rowland, Fantasia and even Jamaica's own Naomi Campbell is another major reason why some black skinned girls run to bleach to achieve the "better complexion" and they are not the only ones, even the LIGHT SKINNED Jamaican women bleach too to get the "Nice and white" complexion.

The good thing is that it is some NOT all! but with some of our female entertainers in Jamaica doing it and being proud like when Lisa Hyper release the song "Mi proud a mi bleachin" (Proud of my bleaching) which gives ppl directions on how to bleach it's saddening. But with people like the Rastafarian music artists, dancehall artists like Mavado and Bounty Killer and Queen Ifrica releasing songs condeming bleaching I see hope!  Queen Ifrica's "Nah rub" (I wont rub) actually helped my step sister to stop bleaching. I dont find white or light skin attractive in fact I strictly date chocolate men (preferably African lol) that's how much I love my blackness but as someone said above not everyone is going to get it so "to each his own".

what is sex" i was surprised for a young girl of that age to ask that question, i ask her where did she heard it from she said from school. i started from there to educate her and ask to tell her mum she refused i ask her why she said the day she mentioned it to her she was flocked, i called her mum and told her that she should start teaching her sex education now that she is aware of it before somebody take advantage of her.
anytime i visit them i take my time to know what she and her friend do and discuss and i elaborate on the subject so that she will be inform,

I'm amazed at what I'm reading. I feel like u guys are now missing the point of sex ed. Or maybe I have the wrong impression of sex ed. Sex ed should be about teaching kids how to be safe and protect yourself from STD and unwanted pregnancy. How did pleasure and everything else u guys have been talking about come into this? Again that's why we need a qualified professional to teach our kids about such important topic.
Sex is as natural as breathing but again it's how we approach it. They need to be taught that it also comes with a lot of responsibility. We all realize that kids are learning and experiencing things at a faster rate than when we were kids. They need the proper tools now more than ever.

I remember when I did my internship at a middle school. I was having a discussion with one of the female students who was about 11 or 12 years old and I was shocked when she told me that some of the girls were accusing her of performing MouthAction on a classmate. I about fell off from my seat.

At that age I still believed that storks still delivered babies to mom and dad's front steps.

Almost everyone one here encourages that bt i think it would hv bn better if the females are thot by a female lecturer and the same wt d males. Bt in the case of a male lecturer in our society doing that for the females is absolutely wrong morally. The parents hs a major rule to play here bt nt all are enlighten and that also point to the fact that the best avenue to educate them is the church or mosque or in any religious organisation. It wld be taught to them in a way that wont provoke sexual arousal in them because it wl be according to the scriptures thereby avoiding some deregotory words.

I decided to open ths topic in other to get your own views concerning the introduction of the so called sex education in our primary and secondary schools. Some may differ and may call me old skool bt am against ths kind of education bcus a lot of our young ones are rather bn corrupted than learning the right thing frm it. A particular girl of abt 13yrs was discusing wt her mate  2day that wtout observing my presense that they where thot sex education at school 2day and it was so sweet that evryone in their class was enjoyin it excludin some that she mention to her that were nt comfortable wt that. She said that some of the boys in their class were always taking permissions to go and urinate that she saw their p.en1s very erect . The worst part of it frm what i heard frm her is that some of the boys started asking them girls that they wnt 2 arrange for sex wt them that their teacher said that sex wt condom is good to avoid disease and unwanted pregnancy. My own thot is that ths shuld be abolish in the high skool,lets nt immitate the west coz thats their culture. Lets hv your views!
