Would like to know how that went. |
Hello, "Mr I am 27 years", you should be grateful to this lady because she is trying to give your life a direction. I am sure you would be glad she did this for you in 20 years time. Just be sure the kid did not know that you tried to kill him or her from the womb. |
You too can dream on, ha ha ha ![]() |

You may argue about the amount, but so many workers get paid rent allowance even when they leave in their houses. It is part of their entitlement called TR (Total Remuneration) after all those who do not celebrate Xmas collect Xmas allowance. |
i hear you ![]() |

Agbagba to je ese'bi e pe arayin jo (Elders that shared Kolanut, it time to gather again) This statement is made when in-laws come to report a recalcitrant woman to her parents, it implies that those who approved the marriage, by way of sharing the dowry should should regroup and save the situation, either call the young woman to order or otherwise. It could also be used to tell stakeholders the need to take care of a problem arising from their past decisions. |
All this ranting about washing cloth or not is part of effects late marriage, if girls are married between 21-25yrs, a period when the still wash and do chores at their parents home they would not find it strange washing anyones cloths. These days girls are marrying at age of 28 and above, some already have househelps or younger ones doing all these chores for them. So going back to do them may be somehow. Going by some comments on this trend, very soon women would contest who should carry pregnancy for 9mths, young men get ready for the time when these daughters of Eve would ask you to develop womb if you want a baby. lol. |
Any NSChE member here? |
Why did you think someone told me? |
What do you want to know? |
Andre Uweh:How did he disclaim, Yoruba, has he changed his name from Olusola, Have all his children changed their names from Yoruba? Gbemi, Bukola etc. Is it just now that Kwara start to be regarded as part of the North? ![]() |
You are welcome also, Patapata laafoju, kunna kunna laadete, oju afoifotan, ija nii da sile. |
IYA NGBALI: Thanks God I understood Yoruba before Iyangbalife start teaching the language. |
check this out too. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-143270.608.html |
babrich39:Sapatapara lan sin to, bi ito ba yi layiju owo kan warapa ni yen. |
olalekan1:because Allah has said those who have blinded there hearts could not listen talkless or comprehending. I advise we concentrate on improving Ummahs understanding than wasting energy on those who already have mindsets. |
vigasimple:I wonder why he deliberately set up a system that would wipe off his gains by installing an unwilling sickman. As a Yoruba man did he forget the proverb that says "You don't install a sickly to replace a dead old village head?" |
No2Atheism:Good question, but the reality here is that if some trade off is not done between health and safety, there may be no body to protect its health after all, lol. |
You sure do not know details of jobs on the rig, lol, Not everyone on the rig does hard labour except you are low level Drilling Company worker, (Companies who own rig such as Transocean, Noble etc). They normally do not employ engineers for those jobs. If you got Drilling Engineer's job in Mobil, Chevron, Total or Shell for instance you may spend few years on the rig to be able to understand how to write well programmes in future. If you got job with Schlumberger or Baker Hughes or Halliburton you have to rig for the few years to be a better supervisor in town also. We have very few Nigerian ladies in Nigeria drilling both engineering and operations. They are not doing badly at all, both in job performances and career progression. Having said that, let me add that drillers like to drill deeper cheaper and would continue to turn it right, getting the black gold to surface while getting nobody hurt. lol |
