I honestly think Obama should do more due diligence on people he nominates. Imagine two of his nominees have to drop out because on tax issues (same offense Wesley Snipes is jail for) Now he has to help this woman rephrase her statements. He may help the people he thought are neglected or deprived but should not be over done. He got his election on merit and not solely on sympathy or racism. |

Leave them they are testing the waters, they would soon know how far. All one needs are the headlines of the news and that is available all over the places. All Nigeria Newspapers carry the same news wording and arrangement may diver so what is the big deal. |

I am not a doctor but have asthmatic around me. Let your friend drink water often and try chewing onions too. Let him study what triggers his attacks and avoid it. keep his room clear of unnecessary items as much as possible. There is a Professor Emeritus of Plant Taxonomy in University of Ibadan that prepares herbs for it and seems effective in reducing attacks if you are interested in his contact or leave around Ibadan I could give you. |
Love in mental hospital Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. LOVE Jim and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out. When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna's heroic act, she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable. When she went to tell Edna the news she said, "Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged; since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of another patient, I have concluded that your act displays that you have a sound mind. The bad news is, Jim, the patient you saved, hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead. Edna replied, "He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go home?" |
It is not a good idea for both sides. In case of unexpected death. I f the man dies his family would treat everything he has as his alone and may lead to suffering for the wife and the children unless good legal provision has been made. Same for the woman. She may want her and children to have share in her wealth after her if its lumped with the husbands, her wish may be conpromised. However if they are both well to do they can have a family support account where fund are contributed to meed family demands such as feeding, holidays school fees etc. |
No, Never. If a child can not pass an exam meant for his level how would he or she cope at higher level. Those who are saying "yes" even with "conditionalities" ever imagine being attended to by a doctor who cheated in Medial School exams. Tell your child you can not cheat, tell him or her if an exam is set from his syllabus he has no excuse to fail. Tell her how you passed your exams with efforts and the joy of answering "Thank you" when people congratulate you on passing exams you really did honestly. If you observe your child is weak educationally you could do all to help him study including extra home lessons and do not insist he read particular course when you know he would do better in another field of study. |

Agielove: True to whitelexi's theory, you now want the trend locked, abi? Lessons 1. Do not start what you can not finish. 2. As they say in Warri, "No be who first call police dey always win case". As per your advises to ladies: People are free to make up their minds and who says couples can not meet on Nairaland. Anyone can become a UAC on depending on how he/she presents his/herself and this could happen anywhere not necessarily on Nairaland. |
Any wonder why Nigeria is where we are, this trend has hit 36 pages in just two days, while economics trends die off after 5- 6 pages after more that 20 days, Na wao for Naija youths! |
Iyawo means wife, got its name from Iya ti Orunmila je ni iwo. A lady was given to Orunmila, legendary Ifa priest after so much suffering at Iwo town in the present Osun State, so he then called the events of marrying the lady as "ere iya Iwo" reward of Iwo sufferings" Iyawo is WIFE another name is Aya. |
