the people do that were appointed byghe likes of Lai and can be lobbied by same or even manipulated or ordered to. Obi made a good point. Under APC is NNPC not building plants and doing roads?

Lai Is suppose to take money meant for ministry of information to finance primary schools in his constituency.

I mean by passing the state and local government with original jurisdiction over the projects.
the money was allocated to his ministry and could have channelled here is what Obi was driving at.

Lagos is the biggest contradiction in the world Today.
The 5th largest economy in Africa ( which means it generates huge income),
yet one of the most unliveable places in the world due to
lack of social and health services, lack of order, no electricity, bad electricity, bad roads, bad transportation, no flood prevention, bad emergency services, failing schools, bad policing, bad sanitation and more.

The question begging to be answered is where has all this huge income gone?
The same way a witch or wizars that has another fellow in bondage will keep saying the person in bondage is doing well while milking him or her is how those holding Lagos in socio-economic bondage will keep saying it is prosperous and okay.

No one envisaged Ukraine still be standing as of date. Even they lose the war today, they already exposed how overhyped the Russian military happens to be.

Is it same Russia that wants to fight the USA🤣🤣🤣🤣

A unification of BlackAxe and Vikings will defeat Russia, if nuclear option is taking away from the table.

The Russian military is wack!
Zamfara bandits with motorcycles and rusty AKs will overrun those Aryan supremacist in Kremlin.

Why hasn’t America invaded Cuba? Tiny Cuba?

Just dey there dey type rubbish

Did the US defeat Afghanistan? They came and met empty places

The Taliban retreated to the mountains and today is the Taliban not back from the mountains and ruling ? Did America not japa too as the Taliban were approaching?

As for Mexico make USA enter there first na. Same Mexico that held USA before ?

You think war is child’s play?

Russia is attacking the US Dollar and if the BRICS plan works then we go understand WAR NO BE BEANS

US cannot fight Russia militarily … it’s the power of sanctions that is keeping US influential.
America under Biden left afghan to focus on Ukrainian invasion from Russia. That's why they left hurriedly and left a large cache or arms behind.

I spoke in principle because that's what Lagos is known for under APC. They do road at multiple times the average cost around the world and claim Eko OnI Baje, when they have already spoilt even the future of Lagos with huge loans looted via these projects

They've shown us the buses. However, charging stations have not been built as at yet.

I celebrate the Lagos State government for this trail blazing move. But if you don't have charging stations yet in place, then what's the point? Except ofcourse Oando has given concrete assurances that they will have them in place soon.
what's the point charging it with a diesel or petrol engine and then end up using same fuel conventional buses use?

Asides that, how much do they cost because buying one item for the cost of eleven is same as buying one and stealing 10 items?

Maybe they are relying on the stable electricity supply achieved by Fashola in six months after Nigerians gave them the opportunity to deliver their change agenda in 2015?

Or what else is the basis, since they are not moving Lagosians with the light rail commissioned by Buhari so many weeks ago ??
Exactly. Any attempt at accountability is termed wailing and tears.

Nice one

For your info, these buses would have strategic terminals where they are to be recharged. So it doesn't have anything to do with with the state of electricity in the country, commercial solar systems are good enough to back up the electricity from the national grid and Lagos' IPP.

So no cause for alarm, na maintenance come remain.
recharged by petrol engine or renewable options?

Lagos has lived up to expectation.
Despite the Abuja being the capital of Nigeria since 1991, it has struggled to gain clear cut advantage over lagos state as both City are still very competitive in development.
When I give kudos to the architecture of modern lagos(Asiwaju) , people would complain that its the federal capital in the past, meanwhile they've had 3 governors after the capital was moved to Abuja before Asiwaju yet none of them were seen to be credible enough to be given this accolades.
God bless Asiwaju and the lagos state governors who have set up standard of development.
Also God bless Baba tunde raji fashola.
I pray one Congo of garri doesn't reach N1000 with you guys still using Lagos to launder APC's image even after eight years.

Nigeria is a very funny place, you want to meet up with development as it is in developed countries, but you missed the very vital and mandatory initial step, a country where you dont have steady electricity is launching electric vehicles, how dumb those that sound.
No steady electricity, no good roads, nothing is working. Yet some people with myopic view on issues are hailing the introduction of electric buses, its all a scam, within a couple months all this busses will be parked somewhere, because there is no electricity to power it.
I agree partially. No steady power but not a bad idea to at least start it and see how it goes. Maybe wind and sun energy can do the charging.

To the bitter bad belle people that have toxic questions

*How will it run without electricity?!

- Lagos bus, Lagos Rail, LASG Secetariat and Lagos Hospitals would all run on Independent Power Plant built by Tinubu off grid

*Will it run out of power?!

-No a BRT bus runs 200km daily, a fully charged electric Buss has a full capacity of 280km per 100% full charge

*Can we maintain the Busses

-Tinubu built BRT lane but Diesel metrol busses and since 2 decades it had grown remarkable to an Electric model.. EV busses have few parts that requires maintaining unlike Diesel busses.. I runs on Fast Charger Electric rotor,
