BS

Jonathan failed because he squandered all that was entrusted to him. Implosion of the party due to aggrieved PDP stalwarts also hastens the demise of PDP.

Most importantly, Nigerians were tired of PDP's shenanigans and needed a new direction.

Ribadu with so much good-will allowed himself to be used by evil PDP. He should have stayed with APC and he'd likely would have gotten the ticket to run for Adamawa guber under APC , or at the very least a political appointment.

Politics / Re: Was Obasanjo Really The Strong Pillar Of PDP? by reporter1: 11:01pm On Mar 31, 2015
Obasanjo by far was the rock behind PDP -he was their glue that binds them and many are very loyal to him and dare not cross him.

He is the bull that whips the errant PDP politician to tow the line. This is what Jonathan could not do.
He could not keep his house together because he has no clout. The issue of managing a political party transcends votes.

Politics / Sahara Reporters Confidently Projects Buhari As President-elect by reporter1: 5:26am On Mar 31, 2015
SharaReporters is confidently projecting Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of last weekend’s presidential election based on collated poll results from 95 percent of Nigeria’s polling units
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will resume the official release of the poll figures at 10 a.m. Nigerian time today, with Mr. Buhari all but certain to be declared the president-elect.

Last night, INEC suspended the official release of the state-by-state vote counts for the keenly contested presidential election. However, with only five percent of votes remaining to be added up, our figures indicate that Mr. Buhari is leading incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan by more than two million votes. In addition, the APC candidate has secured at least twenty-five percent of votes cast in two-thirds of Nigeria’s 36 states. Mr. Buhari has so far won 14,855,820 million votes, with Mr. Jonathan trailing him with 12,107,628 million.

Our analysis, based on collated votes that were already announced in different states, shows that there is no statistical pathway open to Mr. Jonathan to surmount his vote deficit with very few polling units left to account for.

INEC’s formal declaration of Mr. Buhari as the winner of the presidential election will represent a historic moment in Nigeria’s history, being the first time that an opposition candidate would unseat an incumbent head of government at the federal level. Another historic aspect is the fact that Mr. Buhari finally triumphed on his fifth run as a presidential candidate of one of Nigeria’s parties.

Politics / Re: Jonathan Will Win Saturday’s Presidential Election With Big Margin- Nuhu Ribadu by reporter1: 7:15pm On Mar 26, 2015
Ribadu has become another Abati. This is the same Ribadu that indicted Mama Piss of corruption. Only in Nigeria do people change their character like chameleon.

Anyway, the math does not add up for Jonathan.

NW, NE and SW are blocks vote for Buhari plus a big chunk of NC. I do not know a single Yoruba who intends to vote for Jonathan. Of course few Yorubas are going to vote for Jonathan, but I am certain that Jonathan cannot get up to 30 percent in SW.
SW is the domain of APC so anyone who expects SW to vote Jonathan is not thinking right.

Jonathan is only guaranteed of SE. Even SS like Edo, Rivers will give Buhari a good slice. And Imo in SE will give Buhari more than 20 percent. So where are the numbers for Jonathan?

Sai Buhari! Incoming president

The courts can go to hell; Soldiers will be deployed! We must deploy soldiers all over Lagos to cripple tinubu's games.

Defaulters will haze of bullets and dispatched to the afterlife.

A word is enough for the wise.

It's a shame like people like you exist. It's no wonder there is so much impunity in Nigeria when dolts like you support their tormentors.
Has it occurred to you that the "haze of bullets" could find its way to your family member?

On high expectation -- I'm scared too because people expect miracles. When we are elected, we we'll gather intelligence and plough back all recovered wastage. I'll temper expectation and present situation to people
