Politics / Re: Gen. Muhammadu Buhari Interview @ Chatham House Is Now Live by reporter1: 11:21am On Feb 26, 2015 |
If I'm elected, the world would not have to worry about Nigeria in terms of insurgency GMB I, Mohamed Buhari ,will lead from the front in the fight against BH --GMB Almost 60 percent of youths are unemployed. Waste and corruption On corruption, there will be no confusion where I stand. There will be one set of books for NNPC. NNPC will be audited and books will publicly displayed. I'm running for president to lead Nigeria to prosperity Permit me to close on personal matter. I take responsible for all my actions. I stand before you as a democrat today. I asked myself why do I run for election. Change is possible and want Nigeria to be respected in the community of nations and Nigerians to be respected. Thank you very much. Moderator thanked GMB to sticking to allotted time. Now questions... First batch First question, Olutoyin would you propose to grant amnesty to BH? Second --- need for huge change, there is high expectation, what would you do in first 100 days? Third from Zimbabwe -- what would do you regarding health care? 4th what would you do disarm to BH and arm Nigeria? Ans BH will be prosecuted On high expectation -- I'm scared too because people expect miracles. When we are elected, we we'll gather intelligence and plough back all recovered wastage. On health, Fashola and Amechi did very well. Lucky to have APC governors in place who responded Second batch questions What are your top 3 priorities if elected Nigeria is divided , what would you do to correct this? what would you do to ensure violence free election? From tweeter --what would you do about high salaries paid to National Assembly? Excellent speech overall. Very impressive of GMB. The questions are well answered and not some scripts. A very good presentation with facts and lots of humor. My doctors have declared me fit and going back to Nigeria for the final onslaught! Buhari exits room. Sai Buhari God bless our incoming president! God bless Nigeria! 5 Likes |

Barcanista is behaving like a child throwing tantrum because his friends wont play with him. You got hammered on your thread because your premise was wrong. Were you expecting APC loyalists to clap for you when you opined what was clearly wrong? You need to get a grip on your emotion. Whoever you choose to support is your prerogative. If you like the current situation, vote PDP. If you genuinely wants change, vote GMB. The choice is simple but don't go around opening threads to justify what was wrong in the first place. You cannot be right all the time, and you of all people should know that. 15 Likes 3 Shares |

The rest of the world knows how abysmal GEJ has performed except some Nigerians who are too myopic to see beyond their religious and tribal affiliation. World leaders unequivocally have condemned the clueless one yet some dolts keep supporting their tormentor. Have you asked yourself why their is no stable power after 16 years of PDP regressive rule? Economy is in shambles Nigerian roads are nothing but death traps. Nigerian army and police are extension of government used to assault the very people they are supposed to protect and serve! The list goes on... Yet you want to reward PDP with another four years. Are my people this brainless or they are just impassive to mediocrity? Vote GMB and liberate yourself and your future generation. 4 Likes |

barcanista: Dude you are trying to rationalize the mindset of crooked people which you cannot. Jonathan walks in the circle of the most evil people in Nigeria. People that would do anything to perpetuate power. Let me help you with the "merit" aspect. Jonathan is afraid of what Buhari will do if Buhari wins. 34 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: In Response To Seun: Buhari's Military Rule... by reporter1: 3:59am On Feb 05, 2015 |
It's very disappointing when you see actions like Seun's. Why open a thread if you don't want people to comment on it? I can understand if you disable comments on a Nairaland's specific topic, but a general topic? I guess it's an attempt to paint GMB bad. Your action cannot influence anybody. The scales have been removed from our eyes. Now we can see clearly 20/20 that PDP is evil. If you must know, this election is not just about GMB but a liberation movement from the shackles of PDP. Nigerians are tired of Jonathan and his forty thieves. Only a fool does the same thing over and over and expects a different result. PDP has been given more than enough fair opportunity to right Nigeria, but what do you have -ineptitude. 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: What If Amaechi Is Still With President Jonathan? by reporter1: 3:22am On Feb 04, 2015 |
Jonathan lacks tact and his wife is just plain crude who lacks decorum. Both of them are not suitable for any position of power. Even if Amechi had remained in PDP, Buhari would still be in this position maybe not as well positioned as it is now. This election is about the "haves and have nots." For once, Nigerians want to control their own destiny and chase away the thieves who have been looting our coffers for the last 16 yrs. 47 Likes 1 Share |

This analysis shows GEJ is in deep trouble. Even after unrealistic percentage, he says GEJ will win by about only 2-4million votes. This man's head is filled with garbage. Lagos 60 percent Sokoto 40 percent GEJ will be lucky to get 20 percent in either of those states. Okupe -your job ends on FebuHari 14th 101 Likes 7 Shares |
Politics / Re: Channelstv Presidential Debate: A.P.C Should Stop Misleading The General by reporter1: 2:57pm On Feb 02, 2015 |
Of what benefit is debate to APC at this time? PDP has engaged in character assassination from the beginning without providing any account of their stewardship of the last 16 years. The reason PDP wants debate at all cost is because all indicators point to Buhari's victory. PDP is looking for a one-liner to sway the public. But it's not going to happen. Wasn't it the same Jonathan that avoided debate in 2011 and went on to debate himself? Now PDP is suddnely interested in debate? Please.. Febhuari 14th is a new dawn. Buhari for president... The choice is simple. If you are pleased with the current state of Nigeria, vote GEJ. However, if you are not satisfied with the current state, vote GMB. Areas to consider: Security --Has Nigeria being properly secured in the last years? Is BH menance curtailed? Economy -- Has the economy improved? Are there jobs for our teeming youth population? Infrastructure: What has the current government done in terms of road infrastructure, energy -particularly electricity. Corruption: Has the current government curbed corruption to a tolerable level or is looting still the other of the day? Shun religious and tribal affiliations. Vote for who will look after you and your future generation. Best wishes! |

Jonathan has made Nigeria a laughing stock. Nigerian army used to be da bomb. If any West African nation needed ass whooping of their rebels, they call on Nigeria military troops to do it, Sierra Leone and Liberia are good examples. Now our military is a joke. Thanks to Jonathan and cronies for diverting funds meant for military equipment to their pockets. Even Chad and Cameroon with their small sized military are doing better than Nigerian troops in the fight against BH. General Buhari is coming soon to deal with BH. Vote GMB! Politics / Re: PDP Governors Panic Over Buhari - Daily Sun by reporter1: 6:25am On Jan 25, 2015 |
The writing is on the wall. Only sycophants are left around Jonathan. All the heavyweights have decamped. He will lose and he will lose big time. Buhari will win decisively. Here are the facts today. 1, NW, NE are in the safe corner of Buhari. Jonathan will not get up to ten percent in any of those states. 2, NC will be split but Kwara will tip the scale in favor of Buhari 3, SW: Buhari will win all of SW states given how Yorubas want change. It's not a Buhari factor per se, but Yoruba nation genuinely seeks for a better Nigeria, and it's rather obvious that Jonathan is not only clueless but very corrupt. SS: Buhari will win Edo and will give a good account in Rivers and will show some modest gains over 2011 in the rest of SS. SE: All for Jonathan. But .....Buhari will show modest gains over 2011 especially in Imo where Rochas is well loved and the ripple effect of Father Ejike Mbaka's thought provoking message will give Buhari some sympathy votes especially from those who want a better Nigeria who are not blinded by religion or tribal affiliations. Jonathan should start packing his bags. It's high time he went back home. He has done more than enough damage already. Hopefully, Buhari can start crating the looters of our commonwealth. 207 Likes 14 Shares |

Why do you people like to embellish yourselves? Does it really make you feel good? Are you suffering from grandiose delusion? And which jobs are you talking about? The multinational jobs? I'm not a fan of IBB; nevertheless, he spoke the truth. I respect Amechi for his doggedness, and nobody should knowingly put hmself in the bad books of OBJ unless of course you are dumb. Jonathan has done more to fractionalize PDP than anyone since PDP was created. OBJ advised him to stop listening to sycophants but the clueless one thought he knew it all. PDP is imploding by the day. The big men of PDP have all decamped. What is left are political jobbers and touts like FFK and Fayose. Tell me who can those two fools mobilize?
