Nigeria is on fire ! It might be too late by the time you all finally realize.

Politics › Re: Release Reasons For Your Verdict, PDP Asks Supreme Court by respect80(m):
Well, the SC's verdict today stands to change many things which will probably take more than the average mind to decipher. The seamless synchronization of the 3 branches of our government by politicians both PDP and APC alike is an obvious indication that "Lady Justice" may be blind everywhere else but not in Nigeria.

To our poor Nigeria, this verdict is like a double edged sword which stand a chance to save or kill her depending on the sagacity of the wielder (the SC).

With or without sentiment, I make bold to say that the SC did their job poorly on this one because even though I wasn't expecting their judgment to swing in Atiku's favor, the swiftness with which they discarded Atiku/PDP's petition portrays some lack of professionalism on their side.
If not for any reason, this issue was supposed to be subjected to very critical analysis before verdict is given, if not to save today, to at least save tomorrow since what goes around, usually comes around.

This is my opinion, be free to air yours if mine doesn't go well with you.

The chips are down now so let's get into the next level ship and sail to Iceland together. Moreover, those who are destined to live and see the ship anchor the shores of Iceland will, while those who aren't never will no matter how calm the sea may be.

Why give them that money is bits instead of giving them in bulk to start a small scale business? Just my thoughts
You mean the additional money or the whole NYSC money?

Whichever you are referring to, I will admonish you to think twice. Nigerian government are not good at keeping money for people. Before you know now when you pass out expecting to collect your money, they will keep telling you that one idiot is yet to sign the the approval for disbursement.

Any graduate who can't decide or know how to save his money for business or any other purpose isn't fit to be a graduate in the first place.

Stop describing someone else with your own character. If you see the interaction you have with people here as the climax of your self esteem, don't think it's like that with everyone.
Btw, enjoy your online self esteem and importance since it's the best you can get.

Politics › Re: Mock Vote For An Igbo Presidential Candidate In 2023 by respect80(m): 7:01pm On Oct 29, 2019
fykes:
One thing people like u don't know is that outside the political class, the ordinary igbo man cares less about igbo presidency. The average igbo man will not bother to call his own brother or friend if he bcoms a president or governor and becomes aloof, his position not withstanding.
The whole igbo presidency thing is a political class thing and if u feel the street(people) , they don't care a hoot. What more could go wrong than it is now??
In as much as I may agree with you that the average igbo man or woman cares less about igbo presidency or politics in general, I still like to put it to you that the supposed aloofness or indifference of the igbo tribe about Nigerian politics is a psychological and mental ailment born out of their perception of being marginalized from the political apogee of the country for too long. And secondly, their inclination to business to put it shortly. However, this two of the many factors doesn't in any way suggest that the igbo tribe is politically blank minded because politics is engraved into the very fabrics of life itself.

Summarily, give the igbo tribe a chance and you will see their political esteem returned and their political sagacity displayed in its fullest.
This is my creed...

Reno, you've become so useless even Deji has proven far more useful than you are.

His action has prompted a response from APC and political heavyweights. You on the other hand only find coverage on nairaland that is populated by nitwits. Your endless rants makes not even as much as a dimple on anyone let alone bite. You are a disgrace and should be ashamed of yourself.

Perhaps Atiku would have fared better working with Deji.
The fact that you're here makes me feel you have something common with those nitwits. Just wondering what that could be.
Politics › Re: Mock Vote For An Igbo Presidential Candidate In 2023 by respect80(m): 1:54pm On Oct 29, 2019

The only reason they are suspicious (and i'ld rather say afraid of igbo presidency is that they know especially this apc govt knows that they have treated the south east badly and promoted ethnicity to a level it's never been before in this country.
An igbo man identifies with and prides in his roots.
And they are afraid of been served their own medicines.
If the igbos must sit at the country's pinnacle of power, they must show prospects as well as inclination to the rule of equity ( he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. ) But if they continue to showcase antecedents of coming to serve everyone a cup of their own medicines, then the idea of igbo presidency is tantamount to a play child building castles castles in the air.

Politics › Re: Mock Vote For An Igbo Presidential Candidate In 2023 by respect80(m): 1:17pm On Oct 29, 2019
wakaman:
A mock vote=a mock result=mock projection.

Reality is for an Igbo man to become president in Nigeria is beyond numbers of votes, there they would fail abysmally. The crux of an Igbo presidency is not as much as having Igbo candidates but more on acceptability of an Igbo president by Nigerians due to issues of trust, precedence and attitude of the candidate's tribal stock on the terrain of social, economical, religious and tribal dispositions.
The average Nigerian from other stock as the Igbos, (politics is all about averages ) has an unconscious belief in an agenda for presumed revenge and political upheaval by an Igbo stock president owing to the past and present inclinations of an average Igbo in the unity and sustainance of the entity Nigeria. From the social media pages, tweets, press releases, town hall meetings and other domestic presentations on the nation and intact at other compatriots ( compatriots I use at liberty) This notion of suspicious because of the average Igbo person is the major herculean hurdle before the Igbo presidency project..

It is not impossible though!
They are coming for you. I will advice you to board the next available flight pls.

Sadly, this is a fact that can't be completely ruled out of the Nigerian political stratosphere. The igbos should change their approach towards politics cos I so much anticipate to see what it will look like to have an igbo president. But also, the igbos can't achieve that alone because TOTAL UNITY of the entire southern region especially the yoruba and igbo, is a sine qua non to rid the North of the entitlement mentality they've plagued the country with from the ab-initio.

The people who leaked this have a motive.

To incite bitterness against Barca.

And that is probably worse than what Barca did.
Don't mind them.
Complaining about everything is why some people are still stuck where they are today.
To me, I don't see any need to be complaining about problems which their solution are probably within arm length.
