However, I make bold to say without apologies that the north in their quest for dominance by showing prospects and intentions to conquer other ethnic groups does not recognize non northern allies. They also don't recognize the fact that you share same religious belief with them.
If you think I'm lying, ask the people from the middlebelt especially (Benue and Kogi), they are in better position to tell you what an unfriendly friend the north can be when push comes to shove.

It is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that Yahaya Bello has no electoral value in Kogi state and if not for the federal might and thuggery he's capitalizing on, it would have been needless to debate on the outcome of this election because even a rooster would have been capable of defeating Bello with a wide margin.

Notwithstanding, I believe PDP is capable of standing head to head with APC if anarchy is let loose and the integrity of Buhari and his APC administration is about to be set on a scale once again and the whole world is watching. Whether they will handover the state to Yahaya Bello on a platter of gold to be buried or allow the will of the masses to prevail is yet to be seen.

On whom to vote for, I believe Engr. Musa Wada of PDP is the closest rival to Yahaya Bello as it stands. Natasha Akpoti of SDP is also a good option but I fear she lacks the caliber of political structure that would be capable of displacing a tyrant like Yahaya Bello especially when the typical Nigerian political body language is glued to APC and PDP.

The ultimate priority now should be how to rescue the state from Yahaya, a man that has been rid of his conscience and humanity.

I'm sorry you were simply a victim of two things.

Honestly, I used to be a pro- Nigeria unity, but as the day goes by, every single justification I have tried to give that ideology proves to be a miscue. I finally realized that the merger of people of different ethnic values and norms to birth this entity called 9ja deserves to be tagged one of the biggest scam in human history.

Even though I'm not from the South, the entitlement and born to rule mentality the north has clothed them self with is like a ticking time bomb that will sure send this country to nonexistent either sooner or later and this has made me become indifferent about the secession agenda some regions are set to achieve (call me a pessimist, but that is the truth we must all accept).

To sum it up, Nigeria is not one and may never be especially if its unity remains fragile as to being begged for by certain regions because no beggar can beg to perpetuity. Somehow, someday, when the chickens come home to roost, we will all realize how disunited we are in this country. Remember, nothing kills faster than pretentious love and unity, they have been used as weapons in wars and have sent so many to their graves.

In conclusion, I would implore those who see the north as allies to beware of the dragon which blandishes with the head and smites with the tail.
This is my dispassionate creed.

BTW, sorry for the unfortunate incident. Let posterity judge every man according to his deeds.

Any time I imagine that either Yahaya or Wada would still become the governor of the state, I shed tears for that state. Kogi from it's creation has been the most unfortunate in Nigeria. It's been from one bad leader to the other
