milemimi93:
First of all address that issue that your fellow Christians go about motor parks and markets to extort money from people in the name of preaching and praying.

Your Jesus never collected money from people to pray for them or preach to them.

You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother'seye.
How is it my business if anyone chooses to be foolish enough to ditch out their money to anyone in the name of preaching? BTW, the person giving out the money does that at his or her own risk, it is not as if you are being forced to give the money to the preacher.
Your argument is just entirely off the topic of discussion here. You should rather be making reference to how Christians halted your movement while carrying out their religious activities because I don't know if you are aware that imams and mallams also collect money from people they pray for.

I need a sound minded Christian to give a logical reason or reasons as to why Christianity followers love to disturb the peace of others and also collect money from others by praying at the motor parks and market places.

You might also want to do us a favour by answering the following questions

1.Does the Bible orders Christians to collect money from people in the name of praying for them?

2. What sense does it make after preaching at the motor parks you still rob the listners of this little money by lying to them to give you money for mission work when we all know that the money will end up in your pocket?

3. If the Muslims, Bhuddhist, Hindus and the hundreds of world religions do the same, what would be the casehuh

4. If the Bible never instructed Christians to collect people money at motor parks after praying for them, then, is it some kind of stealing or joblessnesshuh

It saddens my heart that while people are advancing technologically and economically, we Africans have deliberately allowed our inclination to religion and religious practices to decelerate and hamper our developmental pace as a people.

The painful thing is that they even go ahead rob the travelers of their hard earn money by puttin fear of accident in them if the don't give them money.

Did Jesus collects money from people while praying for them?

I need Christians to be bold enough to give us sound and logical answers to these questions.

No insult is needed here. Remember we all have that beastly aspect in us, no monopoly to madness..

if you truely want a honest explanation I will give u.

it's not our plan to do that, it's just a circumstances we found our self in that causes that. we apologize for any discomfort cause to you, but u will do the same if are in our situation. as a matter of fact I have seen in different locations were Sunday worship in church also cause hold ups.

the truth is dis....... our Friday prayers is obligatory and the most important of all prayers just like Sunday worship in church. but unlike Christians who have specific churches to attend their Sunday worship that's is not the case with Muslim, Quran instructed us to gathered every Friday in a bigger central mosque in our area, which means we all in that area have to leave the small mosque in our street and go the central mosque in the area. which is why u always see the smaller mosque in every area closed every Friday, bcoz everyone is going to the central mosque. now imagine all the Christrians have to leave their church in an area (let's say agege) and gathered in one church in the area and worship at the same time, am sure no matter how big the church is it wouldnt be able to take 40% of the Christians in that area and the remaining 60 percent would be left outside.

that is the dilemma we are facing as a Muslim it's not our wish to cause traffic. same thing happened to me yesterday, I dnt like been late for Friday prayers bcoz I like to pray inside the mosque, but unfortunately I was late yesterday ,so inside the mosque is full, the remaining space around the mosque is full and I had to pray on d road.
U r well mannered I must say.
However, I sincerely wish other Muslims understand as much as you do and don't see such act as a right.
Also, I hope we sincerely work towards a balanced solution for this situation cos I believe if things are done rightly, things like this shouldn't be a problem

Just this afternoon along Masaka to Mararaba road, the whole vehicles on the main road were stuck in a still traffic until the Friday prayer was done before we continued movement. How unfortunate.

I need a sound minded Muslim to give a logical reason or reasons as to why Islam followers love to obstruct and hinder people's movements by blocking major roads especially on Fridays all in the name of prayers.

You might also want to do us a favour by answering the following questions

1.Does the Quran order Muslims to block and stand on the road to pray before their prayers would be answered

2. What sense does it make after performing ablution and cleansing for prayers, you still stand on the God forsaken road where all forms of dirty materials are washed to in order to pray

3. If the Christians, Bhuddhist, Hindus and the hundreds of world religions do the same, what would be the case

4. If the Quran never instructed Muslims to do so, then, is it some kind of show-off and hypocrisy

It saddens my heart that while people are advancing technologically and economically, we Africans have deliberately allowed our inclination to religion and religious practices to decelerate and hamper our developmental pace as a people.

The painful thing is that they even go ahead to block major township roads that has no alternative routes and the same people will be wondering why the western world is leaving us behind in everything.

I need Muslims to be bold enough to give us sound and logical answers to these questions.

Romance › Re: 10 Guy Code Every Man Should Never Break by respect80(m): 11:32am On Aug 03, 2018
Easzy96:
As a guy, there are basic rules amongst men that you should know and abide by it, if you still want to be considered to be a bro!!!

1. Niggas Before Your Girlfriend
Don’t let your girl ruin your social life, when it is time to hangout with your guys, don’t let your girl ruin that moment. Basically create time for your guys when you have a girlfriend.

2. Never Date Your Friend’s Ex
Whether they have dated ten years ago or hundred years ago, never date a friend’s past girlfriend. If you do, then you have broken the guy code.

3. Your Sister’s Friend Is Off Limit
We say “Brother don’t do family” unless you plan on marrying her then you are good. but “if nah chop am clean mouth”. Then it a no no.

4. Be A Strong Alibi For A Brother
You have to be able to cover for your guy either from their parent or girlfriend, you have to be a strong alibi. for example” May be your friend came home late from a girl’s place, then his girlfriend was becoming suspicious. If they call you to confirm his whereabout… you have to take the responsibility and tell her,he was at your place.

5. Drink Like A Man
You don’t order for maltina or soft drink in the bar, when your friends are taking alcohol. It is better not to take anything at that point.

6. Respect Another Brother’s Privacy
Every guy has his own personal lines. Understand where their line is and do not pass that line. For example, Never watch porn on your guy’s laptop. it a thing.

7. Never Let Your Guy Drive Home Drunk Alone
It is either you call UBER for him or you drive him home yourself.

8. Be a Side kick
If your friend get into a fight, automatically you have to join in and fight that person. There beef is your beef.

9. Never Get Stingy
If you want to be considered to be a bro, Be a giving type.

10. A Bet Is A Bet
If a bet is made and you lose, no matter what. You must follow through with his obligations to carry out his side of the bet.

My verdict: whether the guy attempted to rape her previously is not the issue at stake. if i understood your write-up, you said that the boy apologised for his actions, so the girl in question needs to forgive him wholeheartedly. i believe that love conquers all things and i strongly believe that the guy genuinely loves her. tell her to give the guy a chance in her life, i believe she will not regret it.
Noted bro.
That's the reason why I tried to ask her if she love the guy in spite of his actions.

Romance › Is It Safe To Marry Someone Who Once Tried To Rape You? by respect80(op):
So friends, a female friend of mine is in serious need of advice from me and the topic on ground seems somewhat controversial so I decided to share this question in order to make comparisons with my views on the issue.

This female friend of mine once found herself in a situation that would have probably left her feeling some regrets in her visit to one of her best female friends house just 2 years ago.
It happened that she visited her friend during the holidays and both of them were having fun while watching a movie from her friends older brothers laptop. As usual with most Nigerian parents na, they began to call her friend every now and then sending her on one short errand or the other leaving her the visitor in the room all alone. After spending some time watching the movie all alone and not being a movie freak, she dozed off on her friends bed while the movie continued to play. After sleeping for some time, only for her to awake to meet her skirt drawn one sided and her friends older brother kneeling in front of the laptop.
Although the young man claimed to be in need of the laptop and in the room to collect it because she already fell asleep, but the way she continuously switched her eyes from her one sided skirt to the young man already showed that she understood what was going on and this prompted the young man to stylishly apologize for his actions.
As if that wasn't enough, this young man ever since then has continued to trail her movement and even got her number from his sister and calls her from time to time asking for them to engage in a serious relationship which should probably lead to marriage.
This young man is 31 now, an architect with BSc and working with a good company while my friend is 25 and would be done with her HND before the year runs out.
On advising her, I tried to ask her if she loves the guy regardless of his previous action towards her but she continues to say she's confused about the whole thing and don't know what to do. But the fact that she's even in contact with the guy shows that she doesn't completely detest the guy and that is why I want to be careful with my advice to her.

For me I want to be rational with my thinking but some questions continues to pop in my mind

1. Was the guy actually trying to rape her?
2. Was he just trying to have a glimpse of how her Congo looks like?
3. Could excessive love for someone make someone do such a crazy thing?
4. And if he truly loved the lady, why didn't he try to approach her in the right way?
So I appeal to all NL gurus in Romance section to upgrade my knowledge on how I should advise her on this very important issue pls.

But all in all, is it safe to marry someone who once tried to rape youhuh

No insults please...

this is a true life story, in fact it is happening to me right now!

during my secondary school days, I had a girlfriend ( my first girlfriend). we were in love but the love was more from her side.

It got to a point that started feeling insecure maybe because i was good looking and intelligent hence girls will be after me.

when we left secondary school, she wanted us to do a blood covenant or take an oath using the holy.. i refused because we were still very young then ( i was 18 and she was 17).

because of my disagreement to what she suggested, we started talking less! we don't call or chat with each other. she letter got married and i gained admission into the university.

she is happily married and blessed with kids. it's over 5 years now, i have graduated from the university and serving now in one of the south -south states. ..

HERE IS MY PROBLEM!
one day i was travelling to lagos to see my uncle, i decided to stop by to see her for the first time in 5 years.. i met her in her provision shop. she was happy to see me, we talked and laughed. we talked about when we were dating ( i was feeling uncomfortable with the discussion because i know it's not gonna change anything) .. she blamed me for the break up.

i left her shop in the evening, when i got to my destination my nightmare started! she cant stop calling and texting.. telling me how much she loved and missed me, wishing that she never married her husband! she continued this for a long time ( two months) .... she wanted to visit me where i am serving. i told her that i stay with roommates. she suggested that we book a hotel room.

she said she want to make love to me ( we never had sex when we were dating) . she wants to get in bed with me by all means.. i tried all i could to convince her that i can't even make her commit adultery.

up to this moment, i don't have peace of mind. i have blacklisted about 6 of her phone numbers, but everyday she calls me with a different number.. i am tired of all these,

WHAT DO I DO?
If you no want make them use pressing iron take iron your dick, better threaten to report her to her husband and run for ur life
