Verification starts from 6:30am while exam starts from 8:00am. JAMB hadn't said anything different from what Peter Obi is complaining about. Verification starting by 6:30am means that students are expected at the venues even before 6:30am.

Imagine a student that has to travel for like 1hr 30minutes to the exam venue, that means he or she has to take off from around 5:00am. Nigeria is just one evil contraption that subject people to all sorts of difficulties in getting simple things in life.

As a resident in the area, I find him very engaging. He was very involved in many local issues and this is a key reason why he won.

On a national level, he was a quiet performance. He came in a cleaned the mess of Liz Truss without making much noise, while also managing to deliver 2 tax cuts and bring inflation back down to 2% in such a short time.

On the junior doctor thing, the raise requested was deemed too significant - they ask for 35% more on top of increases they got yearly for the last two years. He also mentioned the ripple effect it could have on other groups who agreed to far lower raises as they will also come back to ask for more. May not have been a popular decision but I think this is reasonable.

Even when it rises after about 3 years to about £50K, that's not a commensurate salary for a job which often has them working up to 48 hours and beyond a week.

For the kind of socialised healthcare the UK is running, I doubt doctors can be very lucrative like in countries with privatised healthcare like the US. Within the UK, they earn much better than many other professions, have a generous pension system and almost guaranteed good career growth. While trying not to down play what they do, I personally dont feel they have that bad a deal by UK standard for a government funded job.

Healthcare alone already takes more than 10% of government budget. The remaining sectors, all of which are critical for the functioning of a proper society share less than 90% and with the way the political parties are making promises to the NHS, other sectors will likely suffer more under the next government.

Extension Roofs
Both the side and rear roof elevations are traditionally pitched, and covered with concrete tiles,
thought to be Russell Grampian. There was a broken tile in the rear garden grounds which was
Russell Grampian. There was evidence of considerable replacement tiles on the roof elevations. My
own personal experience of Russell Grampian tiles is that they tend to crack on a regular basis,
which causes leakages. The replacement tiles would suggest that this property is suffering similar

side extension from previous leaks. The ridge tile of the rear extension would benefit from repointing.
