Education / Re: My Mum Is Making Me Depressed With What She Said To Me by Reuben2012(m): 8:11pm On Nov 13, 2019
I know how you feel bro. Honestly, our parent attitude towards some issue that pertain to our Progress in life goes a long way.

I remember two events that happen in my life. The first one was when I received my O level result(NECO) and i told my mom that I dont have 5 credit. I think I had four then. I was expecting her to insult me rather she encouraged me to put more effort in the next one I will be writing that same year.
The second one was when I resigned from bank job as a contract staff to pick up a career job in Lagos. unfortunately, I was sack from that job the third week. chai, mehn. No be small thing. I refused to tell my mom what happened to me and I dont want to travel back to where I came from but when hunger took hold of me. I had no choice than to call my mom and tell her the truth about what happened to me. I called her on phone and narrated everything to her. she said "Lekan that is life for you as a man. Life still goes on."
I was expecting her to Insult me that why did you make sure move. leaving certainty for uncertainty. she sent 5k to me twice before I got another job. Honestly, it's a miracle because I was just favoured
My point is this Let God be the source of your joy. Dont let Negative opinion of anybody bring you down.Let God be the source of your Inspiration.

There are some life threatening situation you might find yourself. At that point where nobody is there to motivate or encourage. Let the word of God do the soothing. Its written..... coat the scriptures. it works.

Family / Re: Since My Dad Died, I Think About Death Of People Around Me by Reuben2012(m): 12:08pm On Oct 26, 2019
This is my own view. You said you had this FEELING before lost your dad. I know you are still young you might not know much about spiritual thing.
All this feeling of a thing should not be taken for granted. The holy spirit might awakening your spirit to pray against such occurrence that very moment. Since
you are not sensitive enough and also with the level of your understanding on how the holy spirit works. I wont say my much
Pray the more and always be on alert to pray when you have either a positive or negative feeling towards anybody which is unusual.

[quote author=TONYE001 post=76711763]Where really is your heart? Accounting? Law enforcement?

Always remember that a gift at hand is better than a billion promises on the way.

Actually, I travel down to Lagos to pursue Project Managent Career. But unfortunately I was sacked after three weeks of joining that organization. During thr period i was lonely and thinking about my life and what to do was when I started thinking why cant i start to build my career in Accounting inasmuch that was what u studied in school for Four good years . I started praying about it that God should make a way for me and it happened. it seems it just a redirection.
Career / Matured Advice Please. by Reuben2012(m): 3:52pm On Mar 16, 2019
Good evening house. kindly adive me on which path to follow. Early january this year, I took up a job as a sexton in one of the Anglican church here in Lagos. I was given an apartment of my own inside the church compound. The pay is 20k. I purposely took up the job because I have nothing doing and I must survive here in Lagos.I eventually secured another job as Accounting Asistant with my ND since my HND certificate have not been released. The pay was 50k. I explained to the Vicar of the church where I work for. He advised me to do two job together that he really love my courage to survive. I started doing both job together after three weeks additional 10k was added to my salary making 60k. The issue is this when i was busy looking for job to survive here in Lagos, one of my family friend a police officer agreed to help me in as a constable. although I don't like it but I had no choice than to just continued applying for any opportunities that comes my way. Just yesterday he called me to travel down to Ibadan for 5wks screening after that I will sit for another exams before names of successful candidate will be pasted. My fear is this.If. i am going for police job I have two resign from my two newly Job. I am just perplexed. I am really learning on that new job I just got I mean the Account Assistant. My plan is to tender my HND Certificate when release by my school management for salary increase or I should just wait for the end of six month for my confirmation. House kindly advice me. please. Thanks
