Welrez:some of them are just ignorant. When they hear Ijaw, they think it is Bayelsa. Ijaw has the top three largest local governments in Delta State. Not to talk of parts of Ondo, Edo and of course Rivers State |
sageb:Wana! |
Penguin2:He's my kinsman so I know. And please stop, you know so I don't understand the reason behind you debating this |
Penguin2:Nothing like seizure, just correcting the erroneous claim |
Penguin2:Fubara is an Ijaw man so be guided. Speaking Igbo is not the proof of Igbo nativity, anybody that speaks Igbo in the world must be Igbo I guess |
reddingtonblack:The funniest thing I have read in a very long time. |
Fountainofyouth:While what he did is stupid and reckless, the tongue has no power apart from tasting food whether for real or figuratively. Millions has been pronouncing money-wealth on themselves for years but are still broke as Bleep or just living an average life. If that logic is right, why does the negative pronouncements work and the positive ones don't, is it that the devil listens and grants requests more? |
YeyeGbami:While that is true but this guy lived a profligate lifestyle. Met him on few occasions where I worked in Apapa years ago, always in powerbikes with escort of friends, smokes like shit and carried a lot of women. These Nollywood legends need to be intentional about their retirement years especially as they grow older since they don't have gold to sell like their young female counterparts these days. May he find the help he needs though |
What is Prof Soyinka saying about the high inflation in the country and the reckless spending of government at all levels |
The vote buying that took place in Bayelsa may be the highest in Nigeria's history. Nobody really should expect anything from anybody that is eventually declared winner in the next four years cause they've paid already. Sylva, Diri just spent the whole fortune of Bayelsa on vote buying coupled with thuggery |
These ones wey dem for donate give Hamas since they behave like Hamas that don't know which fight to fight. So men that can fight are still in Benue state and Fulanis are terrorizing them |
engrchykae:This is another ticking time bomb that they are yet to realize. Masculinity has been eroded almost completely in the West. Men there now care more about their body parts and whimsical. They are dying inside them everyday to be seen like a woman, and like you said, the men in Europe will be nonexistent in the future when they are needed for defence |
engrchykae:It will happen very very soon. Islamists are very intentional about taking over a place and one of their basic strategy is uncontrolled birthrate. They don't even hide it. France now has the highest islamic population in Western Europe |
Ronaldo and pains. Doesn't behave like a good sportsman |
JoeEeL:Very funny ![]() You stated some truths though |
Christistruth00:I already said that in my submission. But then, Wike's sentiment is shared by some other Ikwerre people too...it is a fact no one can shy away from |
DataMina:Oh please stop. This is not about Igbo hate, what wil I gain from that. I was only telling you the obvious. Wike has since declared himself not to be Igbo so why would your perceived Igboid groups in Rivers fight for him. It is left for Ikwerre people to decide if they are Igbo or not, as for Wike he clearly said he is not. I still maintain that that same sentiment is shared by some other Ikwerre people in Rivers, not just Wike alone. You know this too I don't know why you found a way to tie what I said to Igbo hate |
France is yet to realize what they've putting their hands into with the influx of Islamists |
DataMina:You are only trying to embellish his statement for trip. The other poster clearly mentioned "Ikwerre" and not igboid groups in Rivers. Again, Wike already declared himself and his people not to be igboid a sentiment shared by most of them so Wike is not igbo. Again, Ijaws outnumber Ikwerre in Rivers and the other igboid groups you think of don't even care about Wike in relation to this topic of discourse |
MrEverest:@bold Kalabari is an Ijaw clan, so they are Ijaw. |
udemzyudex:Yes I know him. He has so many terror allegations against him, the reason I said he should be closely monitored. Moreso, his choice of words "Muslim Airforce" tells a tale of why he should be closely monitored so as not to corrupt already bad situation we have had to live with |
Eneye4me:what did I do to you to warrant this level of aggression toward me |
That man should be closely monitored. What the heck is even "Muslim Airforce" This man is a known terrorist enabler and divisive element that is banned in the civilized world, Salafis like their Wahhabi brothers are hardened Islamists too. Turn him upside down now particles of bomb may even drop from his body |
Supremos:Opobo is Ijaw. There's nothing like they adopted him as one of their own, he is their own. I'm not interested in the politics or any other part of your comment, just correcting you on the obvious in case you don't know |
nairalanda1:@bold It is expensive but that is not the unit cost. The Philippines ordered 6 Bell AH1z attack helicopters with associated equipment for $450 million including engines, hell fire II missiles, PPS, Precision guided kill systems etc Nigeria already has an agreement with the US for the supply of 12 units and associated equipment for $1 billion. Even the Unit cost of F-35A, F-35B, F-35C with ancillary like ground support and spare part doesn't cost up to $150 million per unit, na Bell AH1z nai won cost $450 million per unit. The amount you quoted for the Bell AH1z from whatever source you got it is the cost of the entire supply deal and not the per unit cost |
This carnage needs to end already. Israel has almost dropped 10,000 bombs on that small land. Hamas needs to give up all the hostages and issue a public apology to remain remain violence free. The destruction especially on civilian lives is unimaginable. I don't even know what's wrong with all these terrorist groups. They always look for a way bring death upon their people under the guise of resistance. From Yemen to Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Syria etc the story is the same. The Middle East is now a big conclave of terrorist groups with their big brothers Iran and Qatar. I know the Nigerian terrorists are gloating over the activities of their senior terrorist brothers on how they can kill and destroy |
sunboy:Middle East is not a continent so the dichotomy of continent where Egypt is in Africa is not really relevant in this context. I added Egypt in the discourse because of geopolitical consideration and the Arab axis of power. Whether Iran would have been greater than Saudi and UAE without sanctions is highly subjective and not hinged on any fact. Iran runs a very closed society with many internal contradictions so no one can say they would have done better than the UAE without sanctions |
sunboy:The US really want to give back that money to them to exert some kind of loyalty from them. It's their money anyways. Some Nairalanders already elevated Iran to that position. Obviously Iran is influential in the Middle East especially among resistance groups. But in real power indices, they are not even up to Turkey, Egypt, Israel militarily and UAE, Qatar, and even the Saudis economically |
Singhabele:Iran cannot get involved directly and rightly so for their own good. It is same reason for weeks now, Hezbollah has been playing cat and mouse with Israel in the northern border. I'm sure in their risk assessment, an all out war with Israel now doesn't favour them and moreso for the people of Lebanon. Lebanon is at the brink of becoming a failed state so they may not enjoy the support of the ordinary people if they decide to bring more death upon them in the midst of their biting economic and political problems. Iran is a noisemaker. Iran is only elevated by naive minds to the position of a global power, Iran is not even a regional power using any power indices. They are only good at sponsoring terrorism and making elaborate noise here and there. The Saudis don't like them, even the Jordanians, UAE and Egypt etc Iran will be destroyed if they decide to go head on with Israel as the US will use that as a pretext to bomb them to smithereens. The American public don't really support America starting a war with Iran or with anyone but using the defense of Israel as pretext is as good as it can get to finally put them in their place for good. |
Wizardslayer:People mentioning China alongside those rogue nations is always amusing. China is not interested in any war against the US or the West over Iran, Russia or anyone. Chinese foreign policy is more development inclined than warfare especially not over friends that comparatively do not have anything to offer them. China already has so many issues to deal with between them and the Philippines, Japan, Taiwan and India. China will never fight war for anyone when their homeland is not threatened. Just leave China out of those rogue nations because they are clever not to be stupid |
Somehow, I praise the terrorists filled Iranian government for not taking the bait, at least for now. The US and Israel is baiting Iran to take offensive action especially against Israel over the Gaza crisis, Iran has been clever enough to play underhand to avoid direct involvement. The visit of the Russian foreign minister to Tehran must have warned them of the bait I think. Iran may be destroyed for good if they are not careful, and if that happens, terrorism will engulf the whole Middle East just like Libya to North Africa. Iran a noisemaker elevated to the position of a global superpower by terrorist sympathizers especially the ones on Nairaland. In another news: What is Nairaland management and Mods doing about that dude that posts his dry and nonsensical butt almost on every thread. It is very concerning |
Gentino:The "ruining mate" description is even appropriate especially when the running mate is a former militant leader. He is really a "ruining mate" alongside his principal that is a "ruining candidate" The present governor is a failure too though |
