Akinloluwa Godswill, who goes by the stage name Akinlolu aka BRAVE, has come back here with a smash hit titled "Homie For Life" a gospel rap song mixed by Timbun. "Homie for life" is a rap rendition about the mistake youth and young adults in our society make; despiratly trying to fix up their lives by all cost not very much concerned about the aftermath. i love the part where he said these words: "...All these young boys wanna make it quick cunning some whites and they flex around indulging in stuffs that could boomerang..." In the rap song "Homie for life" it was carefully depicted that there is just one way in which one can fix ones life without regrets at the long run. Resulting to a life that goes from glory to glory. Infact, This dope track should be nominated for the rap song of the year award. from the lyrics to rhymes, well constructed bars and still passing a self explanatry message all in the same song. You might want to listen to this because it will definetely make your day. Download, like, comment and share. The North African cuisine is the product of a chain of historical, cultural and topographical factors. These regions’ cuisine was influenced by ancient trade routes and links with Europe. Interestingly, the cuisine of North Africa: Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria is packed full of colourful spice mixtures. i share North African dishes to try. Shakshouka Shakshouka is a Tunisian dish that has spread across North Africa. It can be served for breakfast, lunch or as part of an evening meal. It is made up of chopped onions, chili peppers, tomatoes and cumin, cooked in a skillet to form a rich sauce in which a couple of eggs are poached. Harira Harira is a soup served in Algeria and Morocco. It is always eaten during the Holy Month of Ramadan. It can also be eaten throughout the year as a snack or appetizer. There’s no set method or recipe for making harira. It can be made with pieces of lamb, chicken or beef. Extra spices like ginger, cinnamon and turmeric are often added to prep up the taste. Couscous Couscous is the staple food of North Africa of steamed semolina that can be served as an accompaniment with plates of vegetables, or eaten by itself. There are lots of variations depending on which North African destination you find yourself. Tajine Tajine takes its name from the earthenware pot in which it is cooked. The tajine dish is a slow-cooked stew and can be made up of all sorts of ingredients chicken, lamb, beef, fish or vegetables, stewed with spices and dried fruit and served with couscous and bread. |
Many people rarely consider adding visits to historical buildings to their itinerary when they travel. Such visits can help them expand their knowledge and can also be a great way to reinforce lessons. Some of these historical buildings have hands-on exhibits and tours which add to the visitors’ experience. This said, Nigeria has no shortage of these historic buildings, sites and landmark. i highlight some of the historical buildings to visit. Mary Slessor House, Calabar Built in the late 19th century, the Mary Slessor House once housed the iconic Scottish missionary Mary Slessor who was best known for stopping the killing of twins in Calabar. Rather than reside among her colleagues in the missionary quarters, she decided to stay among the Calabar people. The result of that decision is the Mary Slessor House in Ekenge, Calabar, which stands till today as a testament to her selfless service and courage. First Presbyterian Church, Calabar Calabar is an important tourist hub because of its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean attracted attention from foreigners especially European missionaries and colonialists. The First Presbyterian Church in Nigeria was founded by Rev. Hope Masterton Waddell as early as 1846 and has endured as a lasting legacy of missionary work in Nigeria. It is also a wonderful place to visit. Oba of Benin Palace, Edo This ancient building was first constructed around the 13th century by Oba Ewedo of Benin and later rebuilt by his successor, Oba Eweka II in the 20th. This building is a symbol of the enduring legacies of one of the most powerful traditional kingdoms in Nigeria and indeed West Africa. First Storey Building in Nigeria, Badagry Widely reputed to be the first-storey building erected by foreigners in Nigeria, this building was once used as a primary school by the Methodist Church. Its foundations were laid by the famous missionary Henry Townsend in 1842 and completed in 1845 by Rev. Bernard Freeman and other notable missionaries. This historic building would later house the first African C.M.S (Church Missionary Society) bishop, Samuel Ajayi Crowther who translated the Bible from English to Yoruba. |
