Family7 Reasons You Should Expose Your Kids To Modern Day Technology by Revolva(op): 2:42pm On May 03, 2017
Technology is not good for children. This is what some people have led us to believe. This is not true. There are countless benefits children will gain from being exposed to modern day technology. If you deny, be assured that they will search for other means to learn themselves because clearly, children of nowadays are smart and they pick up things easily. If you are still skeptical about exposing your child to technology, these reasons share by us should convince you to change your stance. The only question you should have in mind is when is the right time to expose these kids to technology?

Higher concentration

When kids play games and perform tasks on handheld devices, they need to concentrate on completing the task. These series of activities will gradually help them pay close attention to things whether they are playing with the device or not.

Enhances social interaction

Technology is fast becoming a common feature in classes. You find children using tablets and support educational technologies to do school work. And since they do school work with these tech tools, kids will be able to interact more and share among their peers. A parent should not frown at their kids when they use these tech devices for educational purposes.

Expands Horizons

There are so many things children will learn from technology. As there are negatives, there are also positives. The onus is on you to ensure that they do not see the negative side of technology. This said technology expand the knowledge of a child to a level far beyond their age. They see things that they cannot learn in class. You will observe that you are developing a well-rounded and confident kid who can express him/herself anywhere.

Improve cognitive performance

There are synergistic apps, video games, and various kinds of educational challenges and programs available on different devices which are good for developing the cognitive functions of your kid. Unknown to you are grooming a genius!

More fun for kids

At that very young age, kids love to play. And intelligent and smart way to allow them to play games that require strategic thinking. Through this, they are having fun and also learning.

Gives them an early sense of direction

At a very tender age, quite a number of people do not know what lies ahead of them. With technology, they have a fair idea of what they want to do. And if you are able to guide them, they will certainly have a direction on where they are heading.

Equip them with skills need for the future

There is no gainsaying technology is the future. Anyone without tech skills will naturally fizzle out and he or she will be forced to acquire these skills. Hence, it is a good idea to equip them with these skills when they are growing.

“He wanted a chance to compete for trials ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympics qualifiers, but he was denied and not given a chance.
“Disappointed, he went back to England to represent Great Britain.
“He went on to win a gold that could have been a first for Nigeria at the Olympics.
“If only they had allowed him to compete for Nigeria, that gold would have been a Nigerian gold and not Great Britain’s

Music/RadioBTS Photos Of Kcee Ft Olamide 'we Go Party'.video Shoot!!! by Revolva(op): 3:03pm On Apr 24, 2017
Wednesday 19th at the high brow Events place, The Lekki Coliseum in Lekki 1 was a major shutdown as KCee (Limpopo) shot his new video with Olamide for a song titled 'We Go Party'. The new video was shot by Unlimited LA at different sections of the Coliseum, The grand ballroom-Imperial Hall, The penthouse Events hall-Skyview and The exclusive lounge-Lavida Bella. Huge sums must have been shelved out for this shoot as Each section is known to be notoriously expensive. It features cameo appearances by Jimmy Jatt, Iyabo Ojo, Yomi Casual, Gbenro Ajibade, Mystro, Emoney and others. This means Lagos is expecting a bang!

Enjoy the video scene!!

Exactly, you are doing the same thing I mentioned earlier by inciting unnecessary troubles here. Sound like something is NOT the same as TO BE something. That Igala sounds like Yoruba does NOT mean it IS Yoruba. Of course, it is common knowledge that Igalas do not want to be called Yorubas and nobody is saying nor implying that here. It is often Yorubas that I see trying to claim Igalas. Therefore sounding like Yoruba does not mean it is Yoruba. Sometimes I wonder the level of English apprehension of many of our so-called graduates.
bro you dont know what you are talking how can Yoruba claim to be Igala...LMFAO u r lame....never....happens....infact igalas staying in lagos where yoruba is largely spoken can claim to be yoruba...ok....never will any yoruba claim to be igala..ok..even yoruba indigines in Kogi can never claim to be Igala ok ..learn and stop arguing

laudate:
Guy, you lot are well known for dictating to people who they should be, what ancestry they should claim and even what language they should speak, or what their languages sound like. sad You and your clique have done so, on different threads. Why can't you just allow people to decide for themselves what they truly are or what they want to be? shocked Why can't you let them declare categorically what their language sounds like? Must you decide for them? can you see how you chaps just like causing confusion and trouble?

Like I said before let the Igala indigenes come in here, and say categorically what their language sounds like or not! sad To the best of my knowledge, I have NOT seen a yoruba community or group claiming that the Igalas are Yoruba, or trying to force a Yoruba identity upon them. They have not even claimed the Itsekiris as part of the Yoruba community. They respect their differences. It is only you and your people that like dragging other ethnic groups along with you. Chai!! shocked
i am an Igala here and i have cleared this argument...ok Igala language is Yorubaiod factfully...100%
CultureRe: Demographics Of Kogi State by Revolva(m): 12:56am On Apr 24, 2017
YourNemesis:
Igala is like an old Yoruba substrate speech that has received lots of infusions from "strange" (so to speak) languages from Jukun to Idoma to Igbo (In the southern extremities like Ibaji. With all these additions, it has somewhat morphed into something else.
some consonants seem to have also mutatedd in Igala and deviated from what seem their original form.

i.e R to L, J to BI, N to L
For example

Eje (Seven) = Ebie
Aja (Dog) = Abia
Ori (Head) = Oji
Ale {Night) = Ane
Enu, Arun (Mouth) = Elu/Alu
Akere (Frog) = Akele
Orun (Sun) = Olu
E.tc

Yoruba and Igala languages are like/akin to Igbo and Ekpeye (I hope I am right)
Short speeches are more understandable to speakers of both than longer discussions.

I.e

I am Hungry
Yoruba: Ebi n kpa mi
Igala: Ebi a kpa mi

Come and let's catch Fish:
Yoruba: Wa ka kpa Eja
Igala: Wa ka kpa Eja

Let us bring / pull ourselves together, and stay together.
Igala: Je kafola wa mola, kajo kpai ola wa
Yoruba: Je Kafara wa mora, kajo kpelu ara wa

God, Give/bring me a child
Olorun, Gb'omo fun mi
Ojo, Gb'oma du mi

Listen to me, I am eating three black Bananas (unripe) with yams tomorrow.
T'eti gbo mi, Maa je ogede dudu meta kpelu Isu ni ola
N'eti gbo mi, Naa je ogede dudu meta kpai utsu ni ona.

Give the watch onyour hand to me
Mu ago owo e fun mi
Mu ago owo e du mi

Overall, I can get the general "hint" of what an igala person is saying, but nothing concrete.
perfect bro i am an igala inact you spoke it well...igala is Yoruba...truly...that is my dialect u even wrote it perfect

laudate:
Igala people speak Yoruba?? shocked You have started with this your language-fishing expeditions, again. Last time, you were on a thread claiming that Ika people are Igbo or something. The argument about the Igbo, Igboiid and Edo origins of the Ika, has not yet been settled on that thread.

The dust you generated there, is still rising even as we speak. Now you have started with this your 'Igala vs Yoruba/Yoruboid languages' theory...may God deliver you from causing confusion. sad
bro calm down ok he is correct ok igala language have element of yoruba in them........

FashionLadies: 5 Fashion Tips For Clubbing To Avoid Being Harassed by Revolva(op): 12:26pm On Apr 21, 2017
Clubbing in the night changes people. It is the time they go wild because they want to indulge. They do not really care about what they do as far they are enjoying themselves. This is one major reason why you should be conscious of the way you dress to the club. But this not the case. We are less concerned about what we wear to night parties. And of course, in the club, you meet all sorts of people from the gentleman, to the tipsy, sexually aroused and the foul-mouthed amongst others. Each one of them may be nice people during the day but in the night they are hawks searching for preys. You do not want to fall prey. This said it is no gainsaying to add that you may still be harassed if you appear to dress well. These fashion tips shared by us which will only reduce your chances of getting harassed.

Wear something you are comfortable in

It is important for you to wear in what you are comfortable in. For example, don’t wear dresses that won't allow you to dance or that will keep you rooted to a spot as you cannot move around. You will just have a miserable night.

Don’t show too much skin

There are some ladies who can’t wear an attire without showing off their skin. Skin, in this case, means cleavages. If you want to, do it strategically in such a way that it is not too obvious. You don’t want to draw unnecessary attention.

Ditch your handbag for a small one and wear flats

You don’t need to carry all those your big handbags to the club. Look for a small bag in which you can keep your valuables. Also, try as much as possible to wear flats. This will enable you to easily escape if something nasty or unsavoury is about to happen.

Do away with coloured hair and piercings

The way you dress sometimes sends a lot of signal to others about who you are. You don’t want to go to the club wearing red, blue, yellow or green hair. You didn't stop there, your nose, eyes, navel and ears are pierced. Obviously, you are inviting men to pick on you.

Know the club and the city

Before you go to a club located in one of your favourite hotels in Lagos, you should find out if they have a dress code or not. Fortunately, many clubs do not have in Lagos. Regardless, it will not be out of place to still get this information. In addition, you should know the city. For example, you cannot dress to a club in Kano or Kaduna the way you do in a city like Lagos.
