An Igala community far away from Igala land and surrounded by Igbo speaking areas is considered Igala land? If for example, somewhere deep in Kogi state near Idah, we have an Igbo speaking village named Umuchukwu where the people speak Igbo but their land is far disconnected from the Igbo hinterland. Would you consider Umuchukwu, located deep inside Igala territory, Igboland?

In fact, I’ve come across several towns in Igala land with obviously Igbo names such as Akunuba, Anambra, Amaka etc which point to possible Igbo ancestors in Igala land who got assimilated into Igala culture over time, thus making the people there Igbo by ancestry (if we go by similar argument used to foreign settlers in Igboland). I wouldn’t quickly assume these names were Igbo especially if they have a native Igala meaning.

Oga even in ibaji there is a village name nwajala but we know that these people maybe settlers who became very gala witin time but that is not to say that the ibaji original igalas are not the more of the population

Let me be frank � you nzam are from idah who cross to the other side of the room very when migrating via ibaji ok it's simple and clear

I have a family friend from nteje he told my dad such that his village nteje is igala by ancestry that they came from.idah to settle there looking ago that they don't speak igala again but Igbo because of that he sees us as his brothers and he even sleep in our home when he comes to Lagos for business if he can't afford a hotel

So oga relax how much more of an anambra that speak igala ... Bonaventure enemali is part of Anambra state governors administration he is from those igala speaking areas to handle the igalas minorities in anambra

One yeye thing is that police know them and won't arrest them

Just in right now some rival cult gangs in the Ijeshatedo axis of Surulere LGA of Lagos have been causing a lot of terror and they are disturbing the peace of some residents this evening.

The disturbance started by rival cult gangs, at around 6 pm this evening Tuesday 16th,, 2020 at around Sanya bus top on Oshodi Apapa expressway and lead to nearby Ilamoye street.

Later the fight spread down to Omolabanke street and Doyin Odediran street which is adjacent to Ilamnoye and which brought about the rival cult group to revenge in fresh attacks.

In the video which was secretly filmed by me, some young guys were seen holding matches and dangerous weapons like kitchen knives and even double-barrel guns which were shot in the air several times to scare their opponents.

However, no cases of death have been recorded as of now the fight is still going on with these thugs disturbing the peace of the community.

The major result of this clash will result in the Policemen arresting innocent citizens later on and loss of major looting by these thugs.

Today makes it exactly five days since I was duped by one Gabriel Ajuya here on Nairaland.
His nairaland username is abcond. We met on nairaland POS thread and he claimed to be an OPAY super agent.
On Tuesday 9th February, 2021 I paid the sum of 23,000 naira into his OPAY wallet account for OPAY POS TERMINAL. After receiving the money, he switched off his phone the next day he was supposed to send my item.
I was able to get him on his other line days later, only for him to insult me on top my money.

HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MONEY AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED.

I am sharing a knowledge today on "Tips on how to retrieve your money after you have been scammed".

Please read careful and learn.

20% of social media users and shoppers have been scammed at one point or the other, either large bucks or small money and It's quite painful.

Many people don't always know what to do, so today am sharing with you things you do, when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you:

1. Screenshot all previous chats across all messaging app (IG and WhatsApp or FB).

2. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person.

3. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER".

4. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank the scammer uses), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD.

5. If you can, print out all those chats with the scammer, and submit it.

While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK and copy CBN FRAUD DESK (anticorruptionunit@cbn.gov.ng) this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.

What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank.

Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.
