Why don't this man want to give the nation space to grow ? It would have been wise for him to play role of king maker by silently sponsoring fresh contenders. Suspect his heavy records will cost APC in this fort coming election. Only fools that don't know his history of corruptions and bigotry will vote for him. His so called displine record, was rules of terror focused on southerners and Christians. While he turned a blind eye to his born to rule clicks. |
Nigeria Islamic caliphate in the making. |
tunwe: |
@OP, what were the requirements demanded from you? Like identifications? Prove of domicile? Processing fees if any? |
pacoubah:Though i haven't read all the comments, only yours seems to deal reasonably with the issue at stake. Speakership is not a personal right, but a privilege of leadership of the majority party in the house. If Tambuwal by defection makes APC majority, then apc can elect, select or appoint one of their member a speaker. Certainly, apc might not grant such highly desire privilege to a new member like Tambuwal. Existing minority whip will be first in line. But, if PDP without Tambuwal still hold majority of the seats, then pdp should appoint a new speaker. Tambuwal was not elected by his constituents as a speaker, but a representative, which he can continue to be in the absent of a recall ballot by his constituents. Some suggested is the party not individuals that are voted for and elected. And as such leaving a party nullify your election legitimacy. |
Congratulation to all who expressed their protest one way or the other over the unjustified military tribunal condemnation of these soldiers to death. We should not relent, postponement is not enough. Total abrogation, indefinite suspension of the sentences is what we need, and we should continue to press for. |
talktimi: ...."he however, declined to give any assurance of a mutual complement of arms purchase policy that is not in conformity with that of his country and its interests".....There had been widely reported lack of arms and ammunition by NA. And instances the insurgents out gunned the Nigeria Army. Were there any time the US offered to loan, transfer, or sell Nigeria any? No. Do you think we didn't ask? No. Is not sufficient to deny blocking of sales. They should enumerate what they did to help combat boko_haram militarily. Other than maybe intelligence, which is also debated. America is full of diplomatic mumbo_jumbo to neutralize the uninitiated. Why not tell us what and what you sold us so far in our efforts to combat BH. |
gaby: How come the FG was previously mute on all of this US blockades and frustrations at aquiring weapons until this oritsejafor-gate scandal.Broadcasting your problems send signal to black market dealers of your desperation. And also empowered your enemy about your weakness .Thereby compromising your bargaining power. Now that their third party attempt have been publicly scuttled, have no choice, but come out clean. |
America have no permanent friends, but variable interests. Other than Nigeria's checkered human rights record, America's stances against Nigeria is a trade off pacification of their Arab partners (Saudi Arabia, etc) and their marginal interest in Nigeria. USA response to our needs (weapons), are tempered by the Arab Muslims sensibilities to their African Muslims group. US oil companies will not jeopardize their mid_,east interests to satisfy Nigeria's needs. Obama himself has a Muslim orientation. For some of you local champions screaming Russian,China etc. Other than the dollar transaction hurdles, and the current sanctions against Russia, none of these countries will want to ruin their trade relationships with the USA because of Nigeria. During the cold_war of east west divide it would have been easy. In the global village (world) of today where dollars is medium of trade, tough luck. For short run, we can only try the Black market. But, for the long term, we have to develop our own. |
Why temper with a proven winning combination. For a reliable, stable and continuous progressive Nigeria, Jonathan/Sambo till 2019. Don't rock the boat. |
Certainly there will be some accidents happening to some of the children using those difficult routes in a school year. Casualties rates might be low. Will not be non_existent. Russian roulette, they seems. |
If he's still alive, is about time he release new video of their liberation of territories for their caliphate from Bama. With their flags flying in the background. Sharian_Reporters we are waiting to hear from them. |
drnoel: jShame on you and the people foolish enough to buy yours products. Merchants of FEARS. |
Rapture my blimp. Get your heads out your assxs. Stop selling fears. Fear is the enemy of progress. Fear nothing but fear itself. Or you will be forever paralyzed by it.We live, and we die. No fuc king rapture ever going to happen. Stop fooling yourselves. |
Patrolling officers should have camera embedded in their sleeves to record their activities. |
ISpiksDaTroof: Can you bushmen actually stick to topics you know about and stop pretending you have any idea how arms are traded between countries?Mr cityman, there's no indication in my post that I know how arms are traded between nations. I don't operate in the underground network of these deals. I only illustrated one of numerous declassified or exposed secret arms deals that are now common knowledge. Yes, most arms deals are covert. Any state, rogue state, or bands of insurgents and bandits who have the money can get arms they want without paper trail. |
The business of life and death which the international arms trades represents, often are covert. Less than 30% of it are transparent. Over 70% are shady in nature. Even the Usa operates more often than not, in the veiled arms market. The case of Iran-Contras arm deal comes to mind. A situation when the CIA had to receive drugs (cocaine) from Contra guerrilla army, sold them in the US, and use the proceed to buy arms for Contra to sell to the Iran govt, who was their vowed enemy. This unsavory deals was promulgated to circumvent the same USA law that forbid the sale of any new arms, ammunition, and spare-parts for their existing armaments purchased earlier during friendly time. The Contra-Army themselves were illegal guerrilla force fighting their elected Sandinista govt of Nicaragua. Won't be surprised, if this so called deal with the SA, is actually a deal where Israel is the actual seller by way of South Africa transit. Such are the covert natures of international arms trafficking. |
This pastor is a dumb and stu pid egomaniac. He should be prosecuted and jailed for mass murder. His negligence caused the untimely death of manny, all the fool cares about is his ugly and deceitful reputation. He is a disgrace to the society and mankind in general. Lack the scruples to be a leader . |

You are crazy@op. This must be from the joke section. |
Lol. I don't know what most of the people commenting here are griping about. It seems most of you don't know your place in the scheme of world affairs."Nigeria is a banana republic", barely having the head above water to keep from drowning. We cannot act with impunity without repercussions. Slaying terrorists throats without the benefits of trials and convictions makes us look like the terrorists too in the eyes of the world. |
Is always wise to get balanced information from all sides before passing judgment. Most Isis weapons are USA made, they got them from Saudi. Usa have dedicated intelligence that monitors world arms movements.Their predictions for 2015 is based on their knowledge of armaments by certain group in Nig. Most NA weapons, supposed, are Usa made, and are compatible to Israeli's and SA products. You cannot use Russian or Chinese ammunition to operate US weapons. |
Death to bh informant abubakar Mohammed. |
The names of the court Marshall jurists should be made public. Suspect they could be part of the saboteur boko haram within. |
This story get as e bi. Sounds too incredible to be true. Suspect a case of woman of easy virtue not being paid for her service, raising alarm and fabricating story to get back at her john. Descent women, even when raped, try by all means possible to protect identity, while seeking retributions. Only wayward street hustlers screams in the manner of this self acclaimed victim. |
Total current registered voters----------70,383,427 Numbers of voter per voting unit---- 500 Total numbers of voting units (stations)----70,383,427 divide by 500 = 140,766.8 What is the justification for allocating 300 and a possible maximum of 450 to some voting stations to arrive at 150,000 polling unit? This irregular arrangement create loophole for ghost-voters to be allotted to some units. For the purpose of transparency, the usual 500 per unit is good. Districts or precincts with more than 500 voters to a voting unit should have the overage assigned to neighboring units with less than 500 voters per voting units. There is no justification for creating more than 70,383,427/500=140,767 polling units Required polling units----140,767 Existing polling units----119,973 polling units to be created----------20,794. |
Sad, hope fashola will spend a little crumb of over $1 trillion loans to deliver these children from this unsafe structures. |
General Ihejirika is correct, this ill conceived story was planted by BH and watered by their supporters. To divert, create confusion and internal distrust within the Nigeria Army. While they launch their total invasion of the NE. This strategy is as old as time. Create disharmony in your enemy camp, and invade as they argue and fight among themselves. Divide and conquer. |
Moderator, why did you take down my post of captured and dead bokoharams in Bama? Did it violate rule? The post clearly stated it was picture of actions results in Bama. |
Oklander: The thing tire me! Na so NA and PDP led government them dey lie almost all the time. If you happen to mention the truth about bokoharam advancement into towns against the lies they sell, you would be label their sympathiser, very brainless. PDP, papa deceiving picking since 1999 with some f00lish pikins who has sold out their lives to defend them corrupt papa. Whatever! Just grow some balls and do the needful this time around and get rid of those terrorists.Wars are not fought on the pages of dailies. If NA is trying to lure BH out of their safe forest enclave for full engagement, announcing it will defeat their plan. We should not expect to get the true picture of what is happening now. The end will justify the mix of getting it done. BTW; How do i unload or link pictures of dead boko-haram soldiers in Bama from FaceBook. |
