Great rebuttal from Fashola, unfortunately, he is not the apc presidential candidate. Can Buhari muster a cogent coherent attempts? Or is he going to spend all the time differing to subordinates and associates to conceal his ineptitude and inadequacies? These are questions begging for answers. |
Lol, let me play devil advocate. Where were the babies? Hope not at a "baby's factory". As abokis will say! |
Bobo be like say him fight for motor park. If the bare skin is on alternate sides, may be, just maybe a little bit sightly. And the short pants foot cover beyond the pocket line. That pocket sticking out, is untidy. Alternate as in bare skin LEFT upper_extremity to bareskin RIGHT lower_extremity. |
arttysticfyngaz:Doubt low blood glucose cause. Hypoglycemic death is not very sudden. Goes thru nervousness, sweating, coma and death. |
Autopsy necessary. Suspect victim to quack Meditation like weight lost/control or abortion drugs. |
This is a salvo by OBJ. True spirit of accountability and transparency required due diligence response with itemized records of projects and approximate associated costs. So that credible pictures of where these resources went can be envisioned. Total savings of all inflow is redundant, as time value of money reduces it purchasing power. Wise use of funds as per investments, increases wealth and trickles down to all fibre of society through activities generation. However, citizens must be informed of the cost benefits of projects. The ball is in the administration's court right now. Name a project completed, cost, expected cost recovery periods, and return on the investment. |
Some are saying our educated phd holder is a disappointment, they will rather entrust the future of our nation to an illiterate. Which is analogous to saying that, a one eye person drives poorly, a totally blind person will drive better. Come on folks. Granted, Jonathan is not the best example of the brilliance our academic institutions and citizens are renowned for world wide. Making the best of a bad situation of the cards on the deck, require we vote Jonathan. Even the so much acclaimed Buharis' attractions we now know weren't his personal attributes, but of his brilliant educated subordinate (Idiagbon). He delegated all his responsibilities of governance, while busy hiding his personal and intellectual inadequacies. We can do better than that. |
LordMecuzy:Hope your campaign don't end in vain. If buhari win without constitutional required educational qualifications. Result will be overturned by the court. Very important this issue be sorted out now, instead of wasting time and money for a foreseeable outcome. |
After reading lots of the to and fro comments here. I have come to a full realization that Mr buhari is a fraud . He have no credible credentials to present. Thought he attended some school and trainings. He did not successful complete any of the programs to earn certifications of acknowledgments. This could be due to dyslexia or other learning disabilities peculiar to him. His supporters and defenders should stop beating around. It takes less effort to do the right thing, than all these hullabaloo they've been dancing. #buharishowyourcertificate, or get out the kitchen. |
sweetgala:Is not true that Buhari have never partaken in a coup. Buhari master minded and financed the coup that brought him to power. It was launched after the Justice Irikefe panel that was constituted to investigate the missing $2.8 billion found the money in Buhari's foreign bank account. Before justice could be rendered, Buhari and his gang quickly toppled the government. Buhari is a thief and a dirty coup plotter. |
datribune:Hope you're right. His credentials from the war college should supersede the o_levels minimum requirements. He should submit that now if he have it. I read somewhere he only was in the US war college for two months gunnery drill. |
Buhari functional illiteracy might explain why his literate subordinates always/often out flank and out shine him as did Idiagbon. |
Apc as a political organization have simply failed this time. They presented a candidate that don't satisfy basic educational requirements. Buhari as a minor party candidate had been getting away with the scam of ,"my credentials are with xyz" affidavits, but now egbe have jammed. Verifiable copies are needed. Apc should have done their homework by screening and vetting their candidates required packages. Now is too late when the head is off. |
Vote GEJ for 2nd term. Sorry APC, shot yourself in the foot by giving us a stack illiterate, unrepentant blood thirsty person like Buhari and called him, a new change we need. No, you lie, nothing new about the old cargo. Nigeria deserves somebody better than that. Wished you have given us one of yours vibrant, trail blazing governors. Buhari is a rusty old man who have lost touch with reality. At his best, wasn't half as good as Jonathan.Hope Your inevitable failure this time will be a learning curve for you. |
Great move people. Be vigilant at all time. Suspect all bags and packages, until proven otherwise. No exceptions. |
@ Mayor of Lagos, If APC have a manifesto with plan to return to Regionalism, should come out with it and tell the nation how they intend to make it happen . That is the wish of most southerners. Is the north who have been against such order. I doubt Buhari will get northern vote for that. |
sexyseun:Environmental cleaning should be daily on going duty. We create dirt and refuse in an ongoing basis . The cleaning should be ongoing as well . Daily to be precise. Man power are available to get it done. The weekly or is monthly environmental is a non starter. That's just window dressing. People are looking for jobs. They should be hired to do these cleaning on regular basis. The people of developed nations creates more trashes and litters their environments as we do, if not more, the difference is that they have dedicated labor force who cleans daily. Even their express ways are vacuumed and scrub washed with soap and water 2 _ 3 times weekly. That's the difference. Human activities generate dirt, cleaning it is our duty. |
[quote author=darediamond post=29063944]Sister, to to bé frank, Tinubu is playing Buhari like he did in 2011 when he used Ribadu who is not so popular in the North as the then ACN presidential to weaken Buhari's chance of wining the Preidential Race. The meeting as been held between him and OBJ secretly on the best way to play the Core North and they came out with an High finishing Scheme. The amalgamation of APC with CPC is meant to fake the South West Intrest in the Caliphate and more importantly to nearly permanently caged them. We Yorubas can never forgive them of there repeated Arrogance at it Peak against us LaiLai. I repeat We Yorubas can never forgive them of there repeated Arrogance at it Peak against us LaiLai. And that was why the same Baba Obasanjo kick-started the lashing of the Hausa/Fulani Oligarchy by breaking your region Middle Belt away from the Dominance Of Core North Politically when he appointed from your region several Men to work with him during his Regime to "represent" the North. But the Arrogant Core North said you people are NOT from there Sphere that you are not Hausa/Fulani's. OBJ knowing how the Aboki Loards will react, delibrately did what he do so as to make you people there realise that the "One North" thing is Never in the favour of you Middle Beltans and that you People Should have your Independent Identity. The Core-North did not quickly grasp what OBJ has done to them because they are complete FOOLS who do not by there action over the years believe that what goes around will one day come around which justifies the Law Of Gravity. So do not think we Yorubas are in support of the ABOKIS with the Party amalgamation thing. Unless they wiseup or wake up from there slum and break away on time, APC is 98% owned by Yorubas. SouthWest is for PDP. It is been Planned how it gonna happened. Pleased by your line "Yoruba can never forgive of their repeated arrogance at it peak against us lialia". |

bareal:What the prof said in a nutshell are: our centralized system is what breeds corruptions .He recommended decentralizing into regional system as it was before military intrusion into government. And to encourage regional competition.Bringing govt closer to the people through empowered local autonomy. He also chided buhari as being power drunk during his military regime, because buhari's focus lacked initiatives that could have sustainably abolish corruption in the nation. He wished him good luck in the election. He didn't endorse him nor promise to converse others to vote for him. In my opinion, he sees buhari as incapable to really deal with curruption. Because Buhari doesn't have, or know the wherewithal of real sustainable discipline. Which is only attainable from SELF_DISCIPLINE, that is only possible with basic needs satisfaction. Otherwise, no amount of threat, jail,or prison will deter the needy from intentional breaking laws and damn the consequences. |
Nairaland and Sahara Reporters are in a political campaign news hiatus. Why none of the breaking hot news in front page? Like Soyinka account of Buhari. You are APC pipe pipers. Is depression setting in? Don't get depressed, the campaign just began. Your readers need to know nothing but the truth. |
Buhari's only true legacy from his brutal reign as a military Tyrant, was the devaluation of the importance of education in Nigeria. He slashed resources allocation for education. Increased school fees. Students protested. He closed schools indefinitely. He and his successor degrading of education resulted in his northern supporters developing the nuances that western education is bad. Which in time degenerated to boko_haram.Boarding and hostels accommodations were permanently closed and outlawed in failed attempt to stop students organizing. Buhari legacy lives on and is "boko_haram". |
dapojaja:I don't now, or ever hate baba OBJ. I am only worried about his restless attempts to meddle with history. No matter how he tries to present historic facts,as he thinks or feel they should be, unfortunately facts are stubborn, the final renditions are going to be independent of his inputs. Butting into current political affairs is unbecoming for a statesman of his status. He ought only need to provide discrete constructive advice and criticism to propel the nation's growth not partisan politics. Writing books is good. But must be corrective of his errors and constructive as future guide to others. Must be devoid of self praises. Let others praise you. Self praises is for the insecure. |
Obj is a grumpy old man. He doesn't know the world have moved on without him. The man need caging in asylum for the aged and mentally infirmed. |
Azo:Mr Truthteller, obj might have increased the fleet of Nigeria airways then, neither him nor Buhari created the company. There's no doubt they tinkered with existing structures. They never created anything worthwhile.Certainly didn't build any refinery. |
Up APC, vote Buhari and Tinubu as co_presidents. Is good both of them share the position. After all Buhari is too senile to know what to do. |
If I'm not mistaking, the only thing original attributable to OBJ in the 70's, were "operation feed the nation" and the "Green Revolution". Both fizzled out and failed. Of course, the true power never rested in him. Power resided with the northern military hierarchy Cabals. Obasanjo was a puppet of the supreme military organ. He wasn't even the commander in chief of the Army forces. Brigadiar Yaradua held that power. |
crown777:Buhari did not master mind the construction of any refinery. All refineries were constructed or began during Gowon era. Some might had been completed during Muritala and the subsequent OBJ that succeeded him. All what obj did during his military dictatorship tenure, were continuation of laid down master plans. Nigeria need to move forward. Prospecting Buhari, is moving many, many steps backward. |
courage54:Think you haven't done any research on your said" "good gospel of Buhari" records. Otherwise you would have known there is nothing good in the historic gospel records of Buhari. Pray you and his other blind worshippers do your homework. You will find the man is a fake statesman putting on superficial facade to deceive the gullible. The more you look at him the less his appeal.Don't take my word for it. Do your research. |
Aiyekooto:"There must be change". Agree with that, but changing from bad to worse is no option. Jonathan is the lesser of two evils. We can't afford to go from frying pan to fire. Buhari is a flaming fire. Have more confidence in Jonathan progressive CHANGE movement in a second term, when electoral needs no longer constrain decisions than a religious and ethnic bigotry mechanization CHANGES of a potential Buhari govt. |
LastProphet:Appointments of tokens southerners/Christians to do his dirty bidding are well known. Read prof Wole Soyinka recent exposes of Buhari's duplicity of disciplines measures to refresh your memory. Indifference to his Muslims fellows (unless they criticized or question his authority) while sticks and whip for southerners/Christians. |
