Jesus prayed to God, yes! I know that, but the word worship is found in the original greek script. Pls why the change? I need an answer to it cos my colleagues at work couldnt give me an answer o. And besides, trinity does not bother me. My own is to serve God with my whole heart, keep his commandments and make heaven on the last day.

Using the word worship in that verse would make it look like those men took the baby Jesus as there God and then rendered worship to him.........worship could still be used but the reader should discern which aspect of the greek word is been implied there....for more accuracy and unambiguity words like adore,pay homage,bow down are used.........

And again you're still saying the NWT "changed"......is it only the NWT that changed??.............look up the darby rendering........thank you...........

But i tot the bible was written by the inspiration of God, so if God has inspired Matthew to use the word worship, why must it be changed?

I mean i have confirmed it from the JW bible. In matt 2 vs 2, the word worship was not used, why? If in every portion of the bible where the word worship is found has the same greek word, then why must Nwt change it to adore or honour when its talking about Jesus? If they want to remove worship, then they should totally remove it, not using adore or honour when it comes to Jesus and retain d word worship when it comes to God. I think the reason is to suit that doctrine.

For being alive today, i thank God. God has been faithful to me and my family even though we suffered a loss late last year, i still thank God for the remaining members of my family. Even for saving a very special friend, God i say- thank you. My testimony goes like this, exactly a month i lost my younger sister who was in final year, my fiance called me to call some pastors that he has been rushed to d hospital from his office cos he was vomiting blood, i tot it was just a little blood, on getting to the hospital, i found out it was not just as i tot. That fateful thursday without exxagerating, he vomited a paint rubber full of blood from both his mouth and nose in my presence and his eyes were going dim and he couldnt see again. I rushed out to call d doctors, they came and reffer him to NIMR at yaba. The following day, we went to yaba, they attended to us and carried necessary test, he was diagnosed of a disease. On our way coming back, the blood started gushing out, and he couldnt breath again. We turned to d nearest hospital, and they rejected him, we went to Ikeja general hospital and we were rejected and reffered to IDH, yaba. Infact God took control. In less than 3 months, d result is showing negative. Praise the Lord.

The only day i moved the plates to the kitchen was the day he formally introduced me to his parents and the food was served by his mother so i couldnt leave the dishes for her to pack.
