PoliticsBOMBSHELL: Igbos Are Marginalising Igbos - Ohaneze Ndigbo President Blasts by richdaddy75(op): 7:01am On Jun 01, 2017
IGBOs MARGINALISING IGBOS

I like d speech of d new Ohaneze Ndigbo President. Pls read objectively.

In my own opinion, the enemy of Ndigbo is Ndigbo itself. I remember a time in this country when all the 6 ministers in Jonathan's kitchen cabinet were all Igbo's.
*Ayim Pius Ayim was SGF,
*Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla was in charge finance,
*Emeka Wogu was in Labour and productivity,
*Berth Nnaji was in Power and Energy,
*Dieziani Madueke was d powerful minister for oil.

The 6 of them outside the Federal Executive Council would meet and decide what and what not to be discussed at the larger FEC. Whatever they decided would eventually be the position of government. In 6 years, this was the situation.

Okiro and Onovo had the police under their control. Ihejerika and later Minimah controlled the Army. These powerful Igbo's could do and undo. Nigeria was in their pockets.

But rather than care about the poor Igbo chaps scattered all over the country, they were busy diverting billions of naira into their accounts at home and abroad.

The 2nd Niger Bridge, they didn't do. They shared the money. The Lagos/Calabar rail lines passing through 9 States, 3 of them in the SE, they were not bothered. They refused to pay the Chinese the Counter part fund. They shared the money. Enugu/Onitsha, Aba/PH and other roads of economic importance to their fellow Igbo's, they abandoned.

Who is to blame? Who is marginalising the Igbos?

You had your chance, you bungled it. There was only 1 Yoruba minister worth mentioning at the time, Akinwunmi Adesina. He was in Agric. His budget was less than 1% while Emeka Wogu in Labor had over 10% for his ministry, Ayim had unlimited access to the treasury for the benefit of himself and family members. The poor Igbo guys meant nothing to him.

If an Igbo becomes President tomorrow, will there be any difference? Even if Biafra materialized, we have seen clips of what to expect!

The Igbo man will marginalise his fellow Igbo people.

May God deliver Ndigbo

Today is public holiday as declared by Federal Government for celebrating 18yrs of uninterrupted democracy in Nigeria.

The question that bothers a sane mind is: who is to congratulate?

Should I congratulate Buhari or Osinbajo?
Should I send congratulatory message to Saraki, Tinubu, APC, or the dying PDP?

Well, it may amaze you that rather than wishing anybody happy democracy day, I'll congratulate myself for being a successful government to my family and community...

Sustenance from the economic hardship bedeviling every citizen by this government is on its own worth celebration.

You built or rented a house and put a burglary proof, that has made you a police to your family. You are the IG of your home.

You dug a borehole to have steady water supply, that has made you a family water board. You are minister of water

If you purchased a generating set, solar panel or inverter, you have usurped the duty of PHCN. That makes you minister of Power

A lot of people have died all in the name of Boko Haram and Terrorism yet you're still alive it shows you're d Chief of Army staff on your own.

Now tell me if that does not qualify one to be a government.

HAPPY SURVIVAL DAY FELLOW CITIZEN!!!

PoliticsA Must Watch Video: The Misplaced Priority Of Our Government by richdaddy75(op): 8:59pm On May 27, 2017
For the benefit of those who are yet to watch, this video established the fact that Ijebu has been in existence since Bible times.

This video reveals the queen of sheba, one of wives of biblical king solomon.

There are proofs that the queen also married an ijebu man.

When you Watch the video, you get to know that our government lacks priority.

The queen died and buried in a small community called OKE EIRI, via Ijebu Ode.

The mystery surrounding her tomb is that, any prayer request made at the tomb comes to reality. For this reason people troop to the site for prayer retreat.

This site has been in existence before MECCA and our government felt reluctant to develop it as tourism centre.

What is so special about Mecca that we can perform here?

Nigeria, this is shameful...!

If you go to ethopia, solomon temple is still there, developed, preserved and attracts foreigners......why Nigeria

NIGERIANS TO BOYCOTT ELECTION FOR RESTRUCTURING

It is conspicuous now that the centre can no longer knit Nigeria into an economically formidable one. The sole clamour among the people is either restructuring or disintegration of Nigeria.

South East, South west, South South are all in support of restructuring but why this is daily becoming a mirage is yet to be ascertained as some cabals who benefit from this structure are manipulating the presidency to shun the voices of the people.

In respective of that, a memo is being verbally circulated among some agitators that comes 2019, if federal Government remains adamant to hearken to the voices of the Nigerians, all must boycott the election.

No single person must go out to vote 2019 because enough is enough for this tyrannical system of rulership.

If you are hereby in support of restructuring of Nigeria, this is not achieved before 2019 election, nobody to contest election, campaign and vote.

send this to others

If there must be any regionalism, Lagos must be a separate unite.

Because we don't want Ekiti State and Osun State to feed on Lagos just like North is feeding on south south oil

EmeeNaka:
Lagos and Abuja will be a federating unit for any serious restructuring to occur. The rest of SW can survive with cocoa, palm oil and Crude oil.
Exactly the point!

Lagos is buoyant enough to sustain itself as a Nation.

Two options:
Either Lagos remain as a separate federating unit or
Lagos remains as a Nation while Biafra becomes a reality.

Because Lagos alone is more viable than all Biafra's states
PoliticsFEDERALISM: Will Lagos Remain As Separate Federating Unit? by richdaddy75(op): 7:38pm On May 23, 2017
Trace down the history line, Lagos remains a liberated, autonomous and self sufficient entity from the inception of its creation.

Before the whole Southern Nigeria became a British protectorate in the coastal areas of modern-day Nigeria in 1900, Lagos was already a Protectorate.

A protectorate is its own state merely protected by a larger country.

Lagos was a British colonial possession which established a protectorate over most of Yorubaland between 1890 and 1897. The protectorate was incorporated into Southern Nigeria in February 1906.

It means Lagos was a separate and self existing region before its forceful almagamation into Southern Nigeria in 1906.

Now that most people are clamouring for regionalism, canvassing for geo-political zones to be federating units so as to devolve power from the centre, will Lagos State remain as it was - a seperate federating unit?

It's time for Lagos to be liberated to avoid some parasitic states in the southwest region who may deem it advantageous to feed fat on them.

PoliticsProudly Nigerian: What The World Will Not Tell You About Nigeria by richdaddy75(op):
Do you know that the entire world envies our uniqueness as a NATION, living together despite our ethnic diversity? One single country with over 400 languages. They will only tell you how Nigerians are scammers and cheats, how Nigerians are into drugs overseas. If you don’t blow your trumpet, no one will blow it for you.

Wherever you look in this great country, Nigeria, heroes abound both now and in our recent and ancient past. If all you do is listen to mainstream Western media, you’ll not get the full & true picture of your Nigerian heritage.

Here are what CNN, BBC, Aljezeera and western media will not tell you about Nigerians:

1. Are you aware that all over the world Nigerians are setting the pace and becoming the standard by which others measure themselves? Do you know??

2. In the US, Nigerians are the most educated immigrant community. Type it into Google and you’ll see it. Not one of the most educated, the most educated.

3. 60% of Nigerians in the US have college degrees. This is far above the American national average of 30%.

4. Nigerians in US are one of the highest earners, typically earning 25% more than the median US income of $53k.

5. In Ivy League schools in Europe and America, Nigerians routinely outperform their peers from other nations.

6. A Nigerian family, The Imafidon family, have officially been named the smartest family in the UK.

7. The designer of the famous car, Chevrolet Volt, Jelani Aliyu, is a super talented Nigerian from Sokoto State.

8. The World’s fastest supercomputer was designed by a world renowned inventor and scientist, Philip Emeagwali, a full-blown Nigerian whose pat ency was awarded in 2015. This means Nigeria has the pat ency to the world’s fastest computer: a Nigerian.

9. The wealthiest Black man and woman on earth are Nigerians, Aliko Dangote and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija. Both have no trace of criminal record of any kind.

10. South Africa couldn’t have ended apartheid & achieved Black rule if not for
the leadership role Nigeria played.

11. Of the 3 South African Presidents who ruled after apartheid, two of them once lived in Nigeria under asylum. Both Nelson Mandela (60s) and Thabo Mbeki (70s) lived in Nigeria before becoming President of South Africa. We gave financial support, human support, boycotted an Olympics and our politicians, musicians and activists campaigned relentlessly.

12. Nigeria spent over $3 Billion and lost hundreds of soldiers to end the wars in both Liberia and Sierra Leone which the world ignored because they have no oil.

13. When there was a coup in São Tomé and Príncipe in 2003, Nigeria restored the elected President back to power.

14. Before there were street lights in European cities, ancient Benin kingdom had street lights fueled by palm oil.

15. 500 years ago, Benin casted metal alloys to create magnificent art including the world famous Queen Ida Mask.

16. Amina was a warrior queen who ruled Zaria Emirate in Kaduna state, Northwestern Nigeria 400 years ago in 1610. Google and see what she means to Africa.

17. We gave monetary gifts to Ireland during our oil boom and built a statue for France free of charge. We are not poor blacks. Nigeria is rich and don’t be lied to.

18. The first television station in Africa was NTA Ibadan (1960) long before Ireland has their RTE station.........

19. On the 7th of May, 2016 at Howard University in Washington D.C history was made. Out of 96 graduating Doctor of Pharmacy candidates, 43 of them were
Nigerians and out of 27 awards given, 16 went to Nigerians.

20. There are over 180,000,000 Nigerians world over and only about 250,000 of this figure have traceable criminal records. This is about 0.14% of our entire national population in the last 20 years: nothing close to 1%. Shame on global media.

Listen Nigeria, don't let anybody woo you into believing that you are a criminal just because you are a Nigerian. Nigerians are NOT criminals. You are NOT a criminal. You are topnotch; second to none around the world.

I am proud created a Nigerian, thank you God. Be proud of Nigeria wherever you go. Take out your Passport with pride. He couldnt talk and just walked away. Am proud to be a Nigerian and be from that country.... God bless Federal Republic Of Great Nigeria.

PoliticsNIGERIA AT CROSSROAD: Military Taking Over Or Breakup, Your Opinion by richdaddy75(op): 2:55pm On May 19, 2017
By May 29, 2017 The return to democracy will be 18yrs in Nigeria.

With reference to the malady democracy’ has caused nigerians, and being so costly and toxic to the body politic, it is no surprise that many Nigerians have begun to question their loyalty to the received wisdom that democracy is superior to its alternatives.

For many Nigerians democracy has failed. It has failed to live up to its publicised benefits – tangible and intangible. So glaring is this failure and so painful are the betrayals of Africa’s ‘democrats’ that ten thousand Nigerians recently poured into the streets of Niamey to rally in support of the new military regime there.

Westerners may be scrambling to comprehend this dramatic reversal of public opinion from a craving for a democratic overthrow of a military dictatorship eleven years ago to an enthusiastic embrace of a military overthrow of a ‘democratic’ regime today.

But this is something that people in neighbouring Nigeria can explain and understand. The exuberant Nigerians at the rally were not expressing a preference for military autocracy. They were voicing their disillusionment with a failed democracy. Nigeria’s democratic setbacks may not yet entitle us to reject democracy altogether or to be receptive to military rule.

But we are at a crossroads, and if we continue with this charade, a Niger-like scenario of democratic disillusionment may be in the horizon.

What is your own Opinion?
