Firefox01: On the contrary, emeka55 will not cause any havoc here. DanielHouston is miles apart from Munich Lover. If you didn't see anything wrong in the initial post that caused the ruckus, it's no use engaging you further. Just know that the fact that someone is abroad doesn't make them always right! The fact that they also get called out on some bullshits doesn't mean anybody is hating on them! This asslicking should stop!.
emeka55 called DanielHouston's name in reference to DanielHouston's list of the different types of Nigerians in Germany, nothing more. Issorite we are waiting for your "others" and please quit the long text, its of no use |

oginnite: alot of people think that the only Province in Canada is Ontario, so when they migrate, the only province in their plan is Onatrio or probably Quebec. These two Provinces are good but living expenses will kill you and you need to do 2 or 3 jobs to survive. Imagine paying Paying $1200 for an apartment in Toronto and paying just about $700-$800 for that same type of apartment in the Praire Provinces. Jobs are getting plenty nowadays in Manaitobe, Albeta, Saskatchewan and you live better with traffic and all as well as save more compared to Toronto.
only if you can do your research. Also when you get to Canada, Plan that in the next couple of months(like 6monts), save and enrol for a short Certificate course in the occupation that is in demand in the province that you are, This will give you leverage when searching for good paying jobs. There is more to Canada that just getting there and following the crowd. Stand out
BC, ON, QC are expensive provinces with plenty jobs(they are Lagos, Portharcourt and Abujas or Nigeria). They are not as good for family as it is good for a single AB(oil and gas headquarters of Canada), SK, MB and the four Atlantic province of Canada which are NL, PE, NB, NS have average jobs and most affordable quality living expenses which allows you live well especially if you have family Can I ask questions? |

MayorOfEdmonton: Your PoF has nothing to do with your application fee($825), right of permanent residence fee($500) and biometric fee($85). You only submit bank documents for PoF and pay the others like u paid for WES, IELTS & and will eventually pay for medical. It is usually advised that u have more than the specified PoF amount to forestall unstable currency exchange rates if you are showing the funds in shameless naira. E.g: 12,960 x 285 = 3,693,600; exchange rates can suddenly become as high as 295. So it's safe to have like 3.8 or 4m as PoF I think so that no matter the exchange rate when VO decides to work on ur file you will still be within the expected PoF bracket. Cheers We are literally saying the same thing.. you just said having 3.8 to 4m kus of Dollar rate.. |
Career › Re: What Is The Salary For Social Workers In Nigeria. Please Advice by Richdee1(m): 7:57pm On Aug 03, 2020 |
@ Poster
Please note that there are lots of Social Workers in Nigeria. For the fact that it isn't a well recognised and known profession in Nigeria doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. We've got people who read Social Works just like you did. The problem we have is that most of our NGOs in here do not seem to place much importances on the need to employ them except in Federal and State Social services such as Remand Homes, Hospitals etc. Some weeks back I was opportuned to meet a very passionate Social Worker in Child Life-Line Centre, Owode-Ibeshe in Ikorodu. And, he told me that the professional body of Social Workers are working towards enforcing that most NGOs employ the services of qualified Social Workers. Can I get ur conctact |

MystiqueTaurus: Okay. Thanks. So at the point of spooling bank statement, it should be such 1325 CAD in excess of PoF? YES I'm just saying it should exceed the required 12369CAD kus of Dollar rate. Make your POF 13000 to be on a safer side |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Richdee1(m): 7:13pm On Aug 03, 2020 |
MystiqueTaurus: Quick question please. For a single person, is my PoF(12,960 CAD) meant to be plus processing fee(1,325 CAD) equals 14,285 CAD or the expectation is for me to have 12,960CAD and then pay the 1,325 CAD from it? Have 12960 to 13000 CAD cos of fluctuations in Dollar rate. Processing fee is different! Make I wait for my Teacher to come and correct me! He knows all kekereekun123 |

dynamitee: Hello Everyone,
I soft-landed at the peak of COVID drama. My PR card has finally been delivered to my friend's address but I've already left Canada. In order to come back to canada, I have to either get a PRTD or get my PR Card posted to me in the UK. I know IRCC is currently back-logged on a lot of things, they are saying the processing time for PRTDs is 3 months. I'll prefer to have my friend send my PR Card via DHL express tracked.
However, I heard a rumour one time about not sending PR Cards through post because customs will intercept them... please does anyone know how true or possible this is? does anybody have any insight/experience and has anyone actually had their cards posted and gotten them in the recent past?
Any insights or thoughts will be appreciated!
thank you. Congrats.. I really don't know ednut1 |
