Hello sir, after reading your comment I have successfully applied online for 32 page standard passport for 17k. I have all the requirements except "for guarantor form signed by Commissioner of oath".
I don't have any body to use as guarantor.

My location is abeokuta, however I went through some messages now and it seems that most people here go to Lagos passport office cos is faster.

My question is what do you advise i do now, should I discard the registration and go to Lagos Office and start afresh or should I go to abeokuta office tomorrow with the documents I have? I haven't paid yet.

A friend told me that I will still bribe them no matter what. And also there are no booklets there for now.

I need advice please mimilyrics Rayhanna bennymine Exmay02 Tee24 A2J and other experienced people help
Please go to Lagos, as it would be faster.. and can u drop the requirements u have for the passport?

Soknown:
Sometimes in July i got a call from the water company, Ses wanting me to supply the water readings and i informed them that i could not find the meter, I could sense some doubts from the customer agents. I told her that i have looked everywhere within the flats, i could not find anything. She asked if the meter could be outside, i told her to tell me if that were possible. She said yes. So we agreed that she could arrange to send an engineer to look around on a date that i will be available. On the said date, the engineer came around and searched places where meters could be but find none. He went to the street to search for non-domiciled meters which in his words are not plausible for a flat, non-domiciled meters could be installed for a detached or semi-detached house but not for flats in a terraced building especially old ones, anyways he looked outside but could not find it, he came back to me to that he would discuss with the company.
So the bills came later, i called them to have a meter installed. The agents then checked the records for the flat and came back that the house could not be metered. So i told her of the regulations that if the house is not metered and could not be metered due to no fault of the tenants, the company should reduce the rate and the bill. She agreed and told me not to pay the bill until the new and adjusted rate and bill is sent to me. So two weeks later a reduced monthly bill was sent which i paid immediately and also set up a direct debit to pay automatically.
Still talking about bills, the council contacted me with my account number for the council tax and advised that i should set up a direct debit. The council tax incorporates bills for the county council, borough council, Adult social care, and Surrey police, about £1700/an for the property band which is band c. Since i am going to start paying in August, the bill was spread over seven months, which means i will be paying about £182/cm. I decided not to set up the direct debit at least for the first payment, i wanted to check how payment over the counter would be. Well i went to the post office and the clerk scanned the bar code on the bill and i just paid with the card.
Schools resumed in early September, my lovelies started going to school. They have watched cartoons meant for a whole year, i cannot blame them. If i had constant light and wifi at their age i would have done the same thing. The first few weeks were hectic for them and the family, new environment, new faces, new learning methods, new food. Children are more perceptive and amenable than adults, so they adapted quickly and made new friends, there are a lot of black and minority ethnic children in the school.
Early September, the family decided we need to move to a less expensive location, we started searching around and asking questions. Luckily my wife's former boss who has relocated to the UK told us that there is a vacancy in her nhs trust the vacancy was for band 6 and 5. I applied through the NHS jobs site, i went for the interview. The interview involved making PowerPoint presentations on the topic sent to all applicants. Followed by questions and answer time. When it was time for me to ask questions, i asked about Staff retention, Staff support plans, Career progression support.
I did not get the band 6 because but a friend from within the trust got it, I asked for feedback on my performance with the interview, the feedback was mainly positive but i failed one of the questions in Mental capacity act. So i was employed as Band 5. I arranged to have my Mental health CBT, i studied for it within two weeks, sat for the exam, and passed. I informed my ward manager of my plans, she was sad. She asked if there is anything she could do for me to stay. I told her my plans are in advance stage. But i informed her that the new employe could contact her for reference. She said she will be happy to write a robust reference.
Then NMC decided to tweak with the online registration platform to make it better, but the new updates on the site do not support persons with an existing pin looking for registration for a second pin. So i could not progress with my registration, I made the new employer aware of this development.
The offer of employment and contract papers were sent to me through the post which i signed and returned.
The next hurdle is the application for a new Visa.
Wow!! Congrats.. Hope the family are all doing fine? its been long we heard from u.. Good to know all is working out well for u
please help us with random pictures.. Thanks boss

How to get Request/Reference letter from your employer

Reference Letter from employer plays a very important role as the document to prove your work experience for migration purposes. Many people have raised the issue on this forum that they are unable to get reference letter(s) from their employer for migration. I would like to highlight some points in this regard which worked for me and might as well work for you guys. After all you can give it a try, and if it works for you, good for you. If you have explored better ways of addressing this issue, please mention it here, so that others can also learn and approach it in a manner which will help them

Requesting a reference letter is an art, it all depends on your rapport with your manager/supervisor. If I were you, I would follow the steps given below, after all you are not moving to a competitor, you are only trying for a better life, which is not wrong at all.

1. Win Confidence - If you can win your manager's confidence, then you can let him know this over a causal chat. The best way to approach is in the form of asking your manager's advise on you moving to another country. Even if you do not like the current job, never ever do the mistake of complaining and citing it as the reason for migration. Instead, try to relate it with your personal aspirations, ambitions and quality of life and what you want to do with your life. If you ask for advise, it is an indirect way of flattering the manager and it will also make him feel that you consider him as a mentor, but do not overdo it . This approach will definitely work, because we humans by our very nature love to advise others . Listen to his views on the same, do not get demotivated in case he does not see immigration as a good way to better one's life. In fact, it is his view, and you have anyway made up your mind to migrate. After all, you used this approach only to put this situation to him. If you are successful in this approach, then you have laid the foundation

2. Request Reference - Next ask him whether he would be willing to refer you in case you plan to migrate in future, never give him an indication that it is immediate, otherwise he will feel that you have made up your mind to move and the thoughts of replacing you would be running in his mind. You can give an indication about it and also assure your manager that you will be around for at least a year, so that you safeguard your job even if Canada does not go through as expected. If you put it this way, he will be more than happy and willing to refer you. But sometimes, even if he is willing to refer you, he may not have the right to issue a letter, so that is where the next step comes into picture.

3. Leverage Authority/Position - If you are successful in doing the above, you have crossed 50% of the hurdle. The next important step is to convince HR to issue a letter in the required format. This is a very crucial step, so leverage your manager's authority/position and request your manager to speak to HR on your behalf and convince them about your requirement and also let him assure HR that the whole process would take at least a year (keeping buffer in mind  ) and you would stick around for the said time being. Yes, this is the difficult part of assuring them, but you need to make a commitment (at least verbally) to stick around - if you need the letter badly, this is the least that you can do. This works in most of the cases, as they know that you may leave sometime in future and if they have to find a replacement, they know when to start the process. If this step does not work, then, from step 2 move to the step below.

4. Letter from Manager - If HR refuses to give you a letter, then ask your manager to issue you a letter on white paper (it should cover all the requisite points), along with a copy of his visiting card and company ID card and get the letter notarized. Submit it along with a Letter of Explanation (LOE).

LOE should cover the following points.
- State the reason why you cannot get a reference letter from employer, if you have any evidence to support you statement, please mention it and also attach it along with the letter.
- In absence of the letter, mention what proactive steps you have taken to prove your work experience.
- Mention the list of documents which you are submitting, in the absence of the reference letter.
- Request the Case Officer to consider your case in light of your situation and also in terms of the proactive steps taken by you to submit best alternative documentary evidence.

All the best!
