I got DQ today.
Resubmitted my AOS on November 22. Submitted a contact form inquiry on November 30. They reviewed contact form letter on January 22. DQ today 19/02

Someone is in an administrative processing now for going to the interview with only 2 pix of him and his brother AP could be for weeks,months,years.
And they may decide to request for DNA. They requested for DNA for my mum in 2008 due to lack of pix. And AP can consume another 3-4 months.

I have been thinking the same. The explanation so far has been general immigration visa but as we know immigration visa types are not the same (employment, IR, F etc) . I learn that even in countries under ban family visas for spouse and parents of US citizens are still considered for approval. Will they still enjoy that privilege in Nigeria too?

Denial rate for non immigrant visas will skyrocket too. It is all about lack of trust in the vetting system. Lack of intelligence sharing between our agencies,non compliance of our immigration in reporting of missing passports and problematic passports. And also non compliance to anti terrorism measures. Immigrants are said to be difficult to remove while the lucky few non immigrants can easily be removed.
Like amigo, I have waited for 13 years resumbitted a file and about to get DQ. Gbam ....ban happened.

If it is local government birth certificate, use the same certificate.
Then take the npc to interview in case they ask for it.
