The content of the leaked Peter Obi already prepared inauguration speech
Page 12, paragraph 4 says
Dear Nigerians, your country is broke and need our sacrifices as a people that wants to see massive investment in Education, affordable healthcare and infrastructural development.
I am standing here to tell you that you will notice a lot of changes in governance in the coming month as we cannot afford some of the lifestyles exhibited by those in govt, all allowances paid to our legislators and the executives are hereby suspended, i hereby reduce my political appointees from 1200 to 50
Inlight of the new development, we are going to use this one month window to study the whole circumstances surrounding the subsidy regime.
We must know how many litres of PMS we consumed daily and also seek to know the real figure that is paid for the product daily
We will remove corruption from subsidy first before tampering with the subsidy itself |

Globad: Let's leave this cheap talk and reason together
I ask you: how much is the maximum annual savings (by cutting wastages) that you have in mind?
How much is this savings compared to the annual subsidy expense?
How long will it take (in terms of months) to achieve this savings?
How will this solve the problem of smuggling of petrol to neighbouring countries?
I'm waiting for your answers 1. How do you build trust and confidence if you dont tell people what you intends to sacrifice from your own part no matter how little 2. If as a president you cannot stop smuggling or reduce it to barest minimum with all the security agencies at your disposal, then you have failed and should resign |

No Politician leaves on Salary.. just like most civil servants
They steal through bogus inflatable contracts and kick backs like police Do you know that over 6bn is budgeted for Aso rock feeding alone Our president is a billionaire and can decide, we dont need to eat with such amount of money, 500m is enough, 3bn is budgeted for the aso rock clinic and yet non of them are treated there....they are too much wastages my brother, i dont want to even talk about those in parliament where they get allowances for entertainment |

Nigeria is in such a terrible financial mess that most of our earnings goes straight to debt servicing
We can't pay our debt and subsidize fuel without total shutdown Nigeria cant be said to be broke when the president and over 400 members of the parliament are earning bogus pay and useless allowances but refuse to sacrifice a dime to rescue the country Tinubu should start by slicing their pay check, the masses cannot be sacrificing all the time |
