DUKEOFIBADAN: Please my bosses in the house, I don't want to make a financial mistake so I bring this to you. I needed a generator that can power my 2hp inverter AC and fridge and someone suggested a 6.5kva kemege although I have kemege of 4kv which still work fine but I don't use it for AC only my fridge and other appliances. I'm skeptical about this kemege 6.5kva inverter generator I just bought the KM4800 generator, I wanted to ask what engine oil do you use for yours as I was made to understand you already use the KM4000. What’s the capacity of the generator and your experience so far |

Success1930: 1) Please can letter of introduction be used in place of NCE certificate coz is not ready ?
2) Where is the training ground and induction for Inspector @Civil defense
3) How many months is the training of inspector @civil defense
Thank you 1. I’ll advice you try and get you certificate before going for your documentation if called for appointment letter. 2. Usually training is in two batches first is an induction in your state command after that then 3 months training in your command before proceeding to the training college in batches to be decided by the National Headquarters 3. All cadre trains together irrespective of ranks and file |

African26: Mr iGod, please, answer these questions with your experience.
1) at the stage of physical screening and documents verification, are we supposed to go along with the guarantor’s form or we wait till documentation and issuance of appointment letter ?
2) the tradition of shaving off beards/ hair completely, is it really enforced at the physical screening stage ?
Anyone with firsthand experience kindly enlighten me on these questions
Thank you 1. Depends on the directive of the board or committee responsible for the assessment, so it’ll won’t be out of place to go with it. 2. For the male shaving off the beard is compulsory while your hair should be kept neat and presentable. N/B no afro or dread a neat low cut would do while for the women a simple braid(no makeup). There’s no much rigorous work at the venue, they’ll be checking for tattoos, height, literally anything out of place. Make sure all your documents and credentials are in other no discrepancies especially with your age for those who changed age or using affidavits |

NDSMELODY: Good morning friends, pls I need your candid advice.
I am a graduate of elect/elect engineering, graduated 2021 and completed my nysc august last year. Upon my nysc completion last year, I couldn't get a job till now so I settled to manage as a class teacher and my salary is 40k per month. Ever since then I have been trying to apply for any vacancy available either government or non government organization, so I applied for ndlea I was shortlisted for the cbt exam, I wrote the exam but wasn't shortlisted for the next stage, I also applied for frsc, I wasn't shortlisted at all, I applied for ncdc (civil defense) though I saw it clearly the minimum requirement is SSCE I just have to try it because I cannot withstand the pressure of unemployment, I was shortlisted for cbt exam , I wrote the exam on may 18. Now the list for physical screening is out , I am shortlisted again, my worry now is that SHOULD I ACCEPT THIS CIVIL DEFENSE JOB OFFER as a graduate or not ?? Pls advice me I will clock 30yrs by September and I don't really like the teaching job I am doing currently but I do not have alternative..also how much is there salary, does the work worth it ?...and also what are the benefits of the work, can I further my studies when it is time ?......
I am sorry for the long epistle, I am some how curious and contemplating....thanks. Take the civil defence job because one age isn’t on your end to secure a government job and the job you’re doing now you do not like it according to you, there’s what is called proper placement which you’ll be entitled to as u forge ahead in the job. |

Business › Re: I Started My Business With N600k. Here's the story. by Richieurch(m): 9:16pm On May 11, 2022 |
chatinent: After school, I worked a while. I was this hardworking chap who wouldn't like any errors or queries attached to my name at work for any reasons. I came very early, did my duties in time, and due to my religious obligations as one of Jehovah's Witness, I was honest in all my dealings.
The job itself was a leopard’s tree. Since it was a private business, and the manager a very greedy man who loots the chief oga at whim, trust me, your honesty is a turn-off.
The work was becoming unbecoming and I couldn't continue wasting my life for a 7-5 job. It wasn't like the salary befitted the workload!
I had to quit!
I also had one small car I bought when I no dey think of anything. I sold it and used part of it to buy a land like that. I had saved some N800k already. So I paid my rent with N200k. So here's what I did:
I thought of a business that'll likely yield profit immediately, and around my budget. I had been to Togo and remembered how selling First Grade OK shoes was the new gold for students and people who wanted a side hustle.
I travelled down there then and returned with 100 pairs of OK shoes. As at then, I bought it for N370k.
N370k + logistics rounded the money up to N400k.
Now, I put the goods in one room in my apartment and the chase for a shop began. Since I couldn't afford those ones of N1m that where located at the heart of the business in my location, I opted for an affordable one.
In fact, everything for the rent was some 180k.
Omo, looking for a shop no bi beans.
I did the painting and decor, carpentry (learnt in school), and electricals (learnt in school).
Materials I bought was some N15k. I was left with N5k or less.
Breakthrough As I cleaned and sampled my petty goods, some customers were already purchasing. Mehn, after the whole stress that day, I made N30k.
In fact, it was then I said I wouldn't work for anyone and be answering “sir” upandan. I'm quite hardworking and in a short time, from retailing...I began ordering in tonnes and have a warehouse.
It has been easy as it is written here but I have seen people ask if N600k can make any profit. Yes, it can. I also do some side hustles like research writing, proofreading, hardware repairs on PC and tracking of lost devices, computer consultancy, and work as an academic assistant.
So I think it all depends on you! Maybe I have not reached the height I want to reach, just mehn, the way my life every year becomes better than the last no bi beans. As a first son, and to say my nuclear family bi like an extended family, I know I am trying...cos it's not easy at all to carry many people's responsibility as yours. OP how do I contact you in respect of tracking a device and the cost |
