This is mysterious, Because i can't understand how we will open our eyes and be seeing what is going on wrong and we can not talk about it. Is this Aliko Dangote, Sani Dangote and other brothers are they not All-Dangotes but instead of saying the truth we keep on telling lies from morning to night, evening to mid-night. But God will take absolute control. |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Madrid Lower The Price Of Wesley Sneijder by richkids1(m): 5:22pm On Aug 18, 2009 |
Inter president Massimo Moratti has moved a step closer to signing Real Madrid's Wesley Sneijder, whose price-tag has reportedly been dropped, according to reports in Italy. The Serie A champions have been hard pressed to meet Real's asking price for the Dutchman, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, los Merengues have now lowered their demands. Previously Inter were facing up to a €20 million outlay on Sneijder, but Real president Florentino Perez has reportedly allowed the 25-year-old's price-tag to drop to €15m. The decrease has been sanctioned in order to persuade Inter that they are able to take Sneijder on a permanent basis, rather than sign him on loan for the first year. In addition, los Merengues will allow the €15m fee for the former Ajax man to be paid in three instalments. Inter technical director Marco Branca is expected to travel to Spain soon to discuss the transfer further with Real's hierarchy, but the possibility remains that they will continue to withhold their offer until the end of the transfer window |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Richard Eckersley Turned Down Manchester United Extension To Join Burnley by richkids1(m): 4:12pm On Aug 18, 2009 |
Former Manchester United defender Richard Eckersley has revealed he turned down a contract extension to move to Turf Moor. The 20-year-old full back took up Burnley's offer in an attempt to play regular first team football. He told MUTV, "There was an offer on the table from United [a contract extension] but I took up Burnley's offer because I know I can cope with life in the Premier League. "United's a dream club and nobody really wants to leave, but I wanted the chance to play first-team football and hopefully I'll get that here at Burnley," However the former Red Devil is grateful for his time at Old Trafford and believes he learnt a lot from the stars at the club. "Just being around the first-team players at United every day and training with them was really special. I learnt a lot, and not just how to train. "You also learn about how to go about your daily life and how to conduct yourself off the pitch. Hopefully I can apply that knowledge here. Teammate Chris Eagles, also a former United player, admits he was delighted to hear of Burnley's latest arrival and believes Eckersley has settled in well at the club. "I was excited to hear he'd signed because I played with his brother [Adam] at United and I obviously know him already," he said. "I think he's settled already. He's a great lad and a great player and hopefully he'll be playing alongside me on the right side of the pitch. In training it's been brilliant - he gives me the ball whenever I'm in space." Eagles and Eckersley may get the chance to link up for the first time when United travel to Turf Moor on Wednesday night. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Ballack Expecting Tough Game Against Sunderland by richkids1(m): 3:33pm On Aug 18, 2009 |
Chelsea's Michael Ballack has admitted Hull City were tough opponents in their first Premier League game, and is expecting a similar test against Sunderland when the Blues travel to Wearside on Tuesday evening. "It is always difficult to play the first game, I think we have to say Hull did well and were organised like last season. They made it harder for us going 1-0 up but we came back," Ballack told the club's official website. “In the second half we put a bit more pressure on and had some early chances, but we had to wait until the last minute which is always a bit lucky. “Altogether we deserved it, it was tight, but last season we drew too many games at home and this year we managed to win this one." Ballack was impressed that Sunderland won their first game away from home. “We are looking forward to the game [against Sunderland] because they won the first game as well," added the German. “You can see there were a lot of away wins in the first round of games, many teams are not on 100 per cent obviously, because there are normally more home wins. We expect a good game after both of us won.” The ex-Bayern Munich midfielder said he was comfortable playing in all three 'levels' of the diamond formation, and felt it was a system that suited his game. “That's what I think, and what the coach thinks as well. I played in the past every position, I know the system and we played it sometimes under José Mourinho as well,” he explained. “In Germany with Munich I played it, I've played most systems but more important are the players in the system. We have a lot of strong midfield players, physically and technically, so we should use that to our advantage against teams.” |
